When we got to the room I went to hang my coat in the wardrobe and saw a ball of dirty sheets in there. I went to front desk and asked for someone to remove them. When we didn't see anyone I asked to staff in the hallway to pick them up. We were given an accessible room although we booked a standard which would have been fine except the tub was very high and with a battered knee very difficult and painful to get in and out of. We also weren't notified that was what we were getting. Housekeeping kept throwing things out. I opened the lotion and soap, but when they came in to clean they threw both out. Costly for the hotel, not necessary to do. Weird needs missed. No place to put towels in bathroom. They were in the bedroom near the windows as far from the bathroom as you could get. Also no place to put soap bar down. There was a tray, but if you put soap in it the paint from the tray got on the soap.

As great and easy as this airport can be, the incessant ongoing lack of ground crew makes landing…read morehere (especially for frequent travelers) painful. I typically land in the evenings and probably half the time or so the ground crew isn't prepared for us, there's someone in our gate, or something else goes on. I'm currently on the runway after landing, and the pilot can't reach anyone from operations to bring in our plane (and our gate's occupied). The guy behind me said the same thing happened last week, they couldn't reach anyone, and they sat on the tarmac for 45 minutes The pilot just told us that they still can't reach anyone and that he needs to shut off the engine to conserve gas because the Buffalo airport also has no gas to refuel any planes tonight. Oof! For a growing regional airport with a recent expansion and upgrade, they HAVE TO figure this out and increase their staffing. I travel all over the country (to all sizes of airports) and don't have this issue anywhere else. C'mon Buffalo!!
