Other than the truck stop which has snacks and drinks with restrooms and a paid wifi, there is also a Sunway and Chester's Chicken inside. Not much else within walking distance. There's a grassy area for dogs right behind the string of chargers. The pavement can burn their paws in summer daytime hours, so pick up your dogs and put them on the grass instead of letting them jump out. The grassy area is larger than my picture shows and even has a shade tree in one section. You will probably notice the standard odors of a gas station as well as dog excrement, although the RV dump station might be to blame.

Given the traffic of the truckers and the folks staying at the Best Western, it can be pretty busy. Also the path for cars can be narrow once you come in. The downside are the drivers not paying attention and two near misses for us. So be careful and assume there are some distracted drivers when you enter, as folks race to get back onto the I-10. Quartzite on the other hand, has two dozen plus super-chargers near a Carl Jr and can be serene by comparison.

I was billed a small amount without ever a charge being delivered, no indication that my vehicle wasn't charging, which ended up in a wasted 45 minutes when we got back to find no charge had been applied. If you drive a Ford, you'll have to use the electricity America chargers.

Used the NACS adaptor and everything worked flawlessly. The chargers and the area are in great shape, clean. Word to the wise; cell signal (esp, if your carrier is AT&T is non-existent). That will present a problem if you need your cell phone to access the charger via the Tesla app. Thankfully, I had my WiFi hotspot charged and it worked since the Verizon signal is decent there. So, plan ahead.

On a better note, we do like the location and the rest of the staff was pleasant. I understand times have changed, but it's still disappointing to see a "Resort" we used to love not be the standard it once was.
