Sunday evening, driving back to California from Arizona, we had no choice but to stop and charge. Every charger was occupied, so like any normal person, we waited. An employee came out and told us we were not allowed to wait in line and demanded we leave the property. We calmly explained that this was the only viable charging stop and that leaving would literally mean risking running out of battery. They doubled down and insisted that everyone waiting for the Electrify America chargers had to leave because they "don't allow people to wait in their parking lot." It only escalated from there. One employee started cussing at us for not moving, then brought out another employee who proceeded to make the situation even more confrontational. Meanwhile, a charger had opened up--but instead of letting the next car pull in, the situation turned into complete chaos. Then, unbelievably, they called the police on a group of customers...for waiting in line for chargers. When the officer arrived, even she seemed to recognize how ridiculous the situation was. Claiming your life was threatened because customers are waiting to charge their vehicles is beyond absurd--it's embarrassing. Let's be clear: * If you're going to host EV chargers, you need to understand how they work. People wait. That's part of it. * Harassing customers and escalating to law enforcement for no legitimate reason is completely unacceptable. Love's has permanently lost my business. I will go out of my way to avoid this location--and I strongly recommend others do the same. At a minimum, this situation warrants a serious internal review and an apology.

The have a 16 pumps and I think they all have diesel. Super nice not having to wait for the one diesel pump to open up. There's plenty of room to maneuver your vehicle in and out of the pumps without having to wait for the unoccupied car at the pump to move! Inside is super clean especially the restrooms! And, the resteoom's decent sized so you won't have to wait there either. The staff are very friendly and quick at the registers. And as a bonus, they offer FREE coffee if you get fuel! How cool is that.

We needed a place to charge his Tesla, and Quartzsite had plenty of EV chargers. Terrible's was just a short walk from the chargers and made for an easy rest stop. The restrooms were clean and plentiful, which we really appreciated after being on the road. Since it's Quartzsite, there were also lots of rocks and gems for sale along with snacks and drinks, which gave it a fun local feel. The AC was blowing hard inside, which was especially nice considering how hot it was outside. Overall, this was a really good stop and a convenient place to recharge, both for us and the car.

Pulled into the parking lot at McDonalds nearby and called this shop. We explained the situation, they were less than 5 minutes away and asked us to head over so the mechanics could take a look. The mechanics came out as soon as we pulled up, take a look, gave us a diag and an estimate within 10-15 minutes. Unfortunately, they wouldn't be able to obtain the parts for a couple days and we had to be in LA by morning. So no repair was done but they assured us it was safe to drive the vehicle back home to swap vehicles. They didn't charge anything for the diag and were very friendly and helpful!

While camping along the Colorado River just across the CA/AZ border from Blythe I found myself…read morestranded. The starter on my car finally gave up the ghost after 11 years. I called on Saturday and told them my problem. They said it would take a few days to get the part in so we arranged for the repair Wednesday morning. Luckily I carry enough food and water for 2 weeks. Tow truck companies only send their trucks on paved road. I was 3.7 miles down a county maintained gravel road. After considering being towed to the pavement by a 4X4 and then by a tow truck, they decided they could send out a truck pulling a flat bed trailer. This cut my towing cost in half!!! Not a typical towing call, that's for sure. I asked for a tune up since the car was already in their shop. No problem. I needed new spark plugs and they recommended replacing the serpentine belt as well. They accomplished the work in the estimated amount of time AND they were very accommodating to me and my mini pig Kevin. Like I said, not your typical towing & repair job. THANKS to the whole crew!
