There's a grassy area for dogs right behind the string of chargers. The pavement can burn their paws in summer daytime hours, so pick up your dogs and put them on the grass instead of letting them jump out. The grassy area is larger than my picture shows and even has a shade tree in one section. You will probably notice the standard odors of a gas station as well as dog excrement, although the RV dump station might be to blame. read more

If you are looking to recharge half way between LA and PHX, you have this location or the one in Quartzite AZ. The pluses here, are the convenience of a Flying J and Wendy's within a hundred yards of the dozen chargers. Given the traffic of the truckers and the folks staying at the Best Western, it can be pretty busy. Also the path for cars can be narrow once you come in. The downside are the drivers not paying attention and two near misses for us. So be careful and assume there are some distracted drivers when you enter, as folks race to get back onto the I-10. Quartzite on the other hand, has two dozen plus super-chargers near a Carl Jr and can be serene by comparison. read more

Located in the Ehrenberg AZ rest stop this supercharger is very fast. You can easily surpass 450 mph in the early part of your charge. Thats the good part. The bad is that this is a fairly seedy place. Lots of transients, truckers, denizens of the desert and peculiar wanderers. The lady taking her dogs from her F-150 to pee on the superchargers was an especially poignant moment. There is a sketchy Wendy's and an attached convenience store. On the bright side the convenience store does feature lots of great sugary snacks! There is also a bathroom in the store that is not totally awful. Overall, i have seen way worse but keep your eyes up here and lock your car. read more

There weren't too many charging stalls at this location, but they do have one stall that allow you to pull in going forward instead of the usual back-in stalls. That's great for those carrying bikes or towing something. If you're coming from California, you can find this charging station at the first exit just after crossing into Arizona. It's on the eastern end of the lot near the Best Western hotel. There's a Flying J Travel Center in this lot so it's very convenient... perfect to use their restroom and to refill on snacks and drinks. read more

Very limited number of chargers (8) with disorganized queueing. Convenient to clean restrooms at Flying Js truck stop and Wendy's. Be careful NOT to queue up in the Best Western parking lot. The hotel manager calls the sheriff for trespassing if cars queue in their parking lot! If you can stop at the new (still unpublished/unadvertised as of 07/2024) charging site behind Terribles in Quartzsite instead, there are numerous COVERED charging stalls adjacent to a huge convenience store with clean restrooms. read more

follow the best western sign it's near there. 8 spots total. easy to miss soo keep your eyes peeled. there's a wendys to cool down with a frosty. went on a Thursday around noon and i was the only one there. you could add up to 469 miles per hour. took me only 22 minutes to go from 13% on my long range back to 100%. read more

Great location, and V3 Supercharging means 250kw! I used to frequent Quartzsite, however with that station aging and only Carl's Jr. for food this is my new spot! Plenty of food options inside FlyingJ next door, and a Wendy's if that floats your hungry boat. There's even showers if you've been driving across the country ;) Hot tip, don't spend all your time here, your Tesla was designed for 15-20 min of max charging. read more

Easy to park and charge. We came at night and there were probably 2-3 other teslas there.

This is a medium size installation of 250kW chargers, conveniently located right by a large and well stocked convenience store with restaurants. It was about half full, but I still got over 200kW of charging. Easy in and out. Also has a couple of nose-in chargers for those who prefer that. read more

I'll use it when I need to because its close by but a little disappointed in its inconsistencies. Started off real good then fell off. Overall it'll do the job but allow more time for charging. read more

Great location. Came here midweek. Felt safe here. Didn't notice too much riff-raff which I was happy about. Plenty of traffic coming and going here. Grabbed a bite at Wendy's. Went inside the truck-stop convenience store to use the restroom and grab a few things (including fresh Cinnabon). Let the dogs out on the grass to go potty (and clean up, of course!) The supercharger was almost vacant when we stopped. It was late but the truck stop neighboring was open. We grabbed snacks and drinks and were on our way. Easy to find. Easy back to the freeway. No creepy people hanging around. read more
