You enter, ( it's one way) and pull into one of the open spaces ( there's at least 12), click your card, and charge away! These are all fast level three chargers, and they reasonably priced. The entire building is immaculately clean, and if you don't want to hang in your car while it's charging, there's an enclosed lobby, where you can sit and enjoy some quiet time, grab a snack from the vending machine, or get some last-minute things done on your phone or laptop. Once you're done, and you head out of the exit, it's a one-way street, so it makes it easy to jump back into the thick of the San Francisco streets!

I pulled in between an Uber driver and a huge guy charging an E muscle car. We all looked at each other in solidarity: this is the kind of place where you need to know who's gonna be on your team. Also I checked to make sure I had cell reception just in case my team turned on me. The big guy stood in front of his car in a protective stance with arms folded and gave me the nod, so I got out and plugged in. I immediately got back in my car and locked the doors. Uber dude sat in his car scrolling through his phone. A guy on a motorized skateboard with a garbage picker arm extender cruised around us and started trying to pick imaginary items from under the Uber. Uber dude was unfazed. Big guy took a step forward and the skateboarder went to find lower hanging fruit. Big guy gave me the nod again. Next came 2 guys pushing a woman in a wheelchair with a pit bull on her lap. One of the guys had a crutch and some bandaging around his head. Big guy gave them the stink eye. They gave us a pretty wide berth. All good. I decided I didn't need a full charge cuz what if my team finished charging before I did and left? You can't be a team of one, and really the Uber driver wasn't going to save me. Nope I needed to be done before Big Guy. So I unplugged. Big Guy wished me a nice evening and I left. Why 2 stars? I'm not going back, but Big Guy deserves stars don't you think? He had the stink eye down perfectly. Unless you have a really good stink eye or a team of body guards I suggest you go elsewhere.

The entrance is right before the light of the freeway entrance (San Pablo Ave & John Muir Fwy) and right after the Safeway parking lot entrance. To enter sucks, you still have to wait in the freeway/Safeway traffic before you can access the entrance. To exit, I will either have to take the freeway or cross over lanes to U turn. Morning and late afternoon traffic is brutal over here so... Just saw a car pull up from the Safeway direction, so it is possible to enter/exit through the Safeway parking lot. Still not pretty but definitely easier than the street. Everything about this place is the same as any other Electrify charging station... charging speeds, rates, etc. I hope these chargers will be well maintained without out of order stations as often as other locations. Just happy it's finally open with WAY MORE charging stations than that at Lucky. Not sure how long the no wait will last especially since there is no place to park while you wait for the next available charger. That may change once construction is done over here. We will see...

Tricky when the street is parked up and there are a lot of bikes. I'm making it sound harder than it is ...it's just awkward. But once in the lot, it's clean and not sketchy. I have weird water streaks on the inside of my drivers door and my passenger door. I thought it might have been a product I used on the doors to condition the interior. Aaron from Stan Carlson Body shop tried 1 product from his shop and but it didn't work. Aaron sent me to O'Reilly auto parts and told me to ask for Sean, who I believe to be the manager and said tell him "Aaron" sent me. So off I go to O'Reilly's, I did meet w/Sean and BAMM, Sean new exactly what to do and even tried the product on my car doors. IT WORKED and I couldn't be happier. Cruxt of this whole updated review is to give a shout out for the extraordinary Customer Service both businesses provided. Something that is sorely lost these days ~ BUT, clearly it does exist and always needs to be recognized ! Tell Aaron I sent you, if you need great honest customer service for your vehicle.
