So I just avoid here if it's raining. It has always felt really safe bc there's always ppl charging here, so it's never been creepy lol.

What I appreciated the most before we got started with the project is that he didn't charge me when he needed to come back a couple of times to finalize the work and materials needed, as well as ensure that he had the access he needed When he started the work, it was clear he would easily be the most experienced electrician I've ever worked with. He showed up exactly when he said he would and got the work done in exactly the amount of time he projected it would take. Even more importantly, the project passed inspection without any issues. This is THE best place to charge your EV!…read more Located on the heart of San Francisco, this easy to get to charge station, is truly perfect. You enter, ( it's one way) and pull into one of the open spaces ( there's at least 12), click your card, and charge away! These are all fast level three chargers, and they reasonably priced. The entire building is immaculately clean, and if you don't want to hang in your car while it's charging, there's an enclosed lobby, where you can sit and enjoy some quiet time, grab a snack from the vending machine, or get some last-minute things done on your phone or laptop. Once you're done, and you head out of the exit, it's a one-way street, so it makes it easy to jump back into the thick of the San Francisco streets!

People probably overlook the amount of work that goes into a home electrical install of this kind, but COIL goes above and beyond to make sure every step of the process is handled properly with permitting/inspections. As a renter, COIL made sure to appease my landlord's requests along the way and made it very easy to understand for everyone. I barely had to get involved other than telling COIL what I wanted installed, when I could have an installer/inspection out, and in the end payment was incredibly easy with good options. One day, after many years, the lighting would dim suddenly without warning for no apparent reason. We thought it was a fluke, but it wasn't, as the same symptom would appear again and again. For safety, I shut down power to that circuit and filed a service request direct on Electro-Integrity's website. The following day, they called to schedule an appointment, and fast forward 48 hours, the serviceman came out to resolve the problem quickly and in resounding fashion. No problem ever since. Overall, the job was completed successfully, passed inspection, and avoided a costly panel upgrade. But there were also a few areas where the process could have been handled more proactively. What I appreciated: * Technical expertise & cost savings: My service panel is limited (90A), and other contractors immediately suggested an expensive underground service upgrade. Kirill performed load calculation and recommended using an Emporia Pro charger with dynamic load management. That solution allowed me to safely add both the EV charging outlet and the microwave circuit without upgrading the service panel. * Permits & documentation: They provided the required licensing, insurance documentation and handled the city permitting and inspection process. The final inspection passed without issue. * Responsiveness: Communication was generally clear via email regarding quotes, scheduling, and permit updates. Where I believe the process could improve: We encountered a major obstacle when it was discovered that the crawl space was blocked by a concrete foundation wall, preventing wire routing as originally planned. Initially, there wasn't a clear alternative proposed. I ended up suggesting routing the wiring through the ceiling instead. While the team evaluated and successfully implemented that solution, I would have preferred if alternative routing strategies had been proactively identified earlier in the process. I also want to acknowledge Erin's craftsmanship. When we ultimately routed the wiring through the ceiling, he carefully navigated around existing plumbing lines and made precise cuts to minimize disruption. The finish work was clean and well executed. In the end, the installation works well, passed inspection, and achieved the primary goal of adding EV charging without a major panel upgrade. I would recommend them for homeowners with limited electrical capacity, especially if dynamic load management is needed.
