I was greeted by the store a manager , Mr Colon, who noticed I was dressed in working clothes and in a hurry. He offered to change the battery for me. I was in and out driving within 10 minutes. But this one is an exception. We have owned and operated RVs for almost 40 years so one can imagine we've had our fair share of dealings with repair shops, Mobile RV techs and yes, RV dealers, the latter of which is usually very painfull. We have been traveling for over 2months in our 2022 Newmar Newaire diesel pusher, from Idaho to Arizona through Texas, the deep south and up the East Coast. Everywhere has been blistering hot, humid and our rear air-conditioning unit was not working well. We had a Newmar dealer in Myrtle Beach determine it needed to be replaced, even though they could not tell me what was wrong with it. They replaced it, but after 13 man hours they could not get the new one to work. We came back the next day and they spent 7 hours putting the old one back on. The Next day, the old unit didn't work at all. Fast forward, I researched what dealer was going to be in our path, I checked reviews on various options and then contacted Dave's RV in Danbury Connecticut. It was a little out of our way, but I called them and spoke with Dave Jr. He was super knowledgeable, knew exactly what the issue was. We agreed to drive up to Danbury from Philly let Dave take a shot at it. We arrived at 2 PM chatted with Dave Jr. and Larry, left them the keys and went to the market expecting to hook up to their power connections and spend the night when we got back. Less than two hours later we got back; The coach was where we left it connected to shore power slideouts out, lights on and the new air conditioner in and running. After chatting with both of them, we determined that the previous job was Pretty much botched and surprised we didn't have a fire. I even got to meet Dave Senior and his lovely wife and the office crew. Senior has been at it for 56 years there....These people are the salt of the Earth, true professionals, and they renewed my faith in independent dealers and technicians. Forever grateful.

Everyone was so helpful showing me what I could buy. I didn't travel trailer. I didn't want a big RV. I'm a single person so I need to be able to handle it with ease. From the time I had my one hour show me everything there is to know there were so many things wrong with it. I would've thought that, even though it was used which the salesman kept telling me when I would ask for things to be fixed. He would say it is Well it's still a pretty expensive used item to be honest and it is buyers responsibility and I did not even think to check ratings. they are so pathetic and I help with things so I called Dave's brought the RV over. I need the oil change. I was going out traveling. He got me in no excuses and I was so happy with the people there they were informative, helpful and nice. I actually thought because I had purchased local that I would get good customer service - wrong. I would not recommend Blue Compass to anyone they want to sell you something they don't hear from you once bought it so Dave's is totally my RV shop of choice and I wish I had done further research and given my business to them. PS - there isn't enough space to list every single issue that I have repeatedly gone back to Blue Compass and it is a waiting game with them.

Don is that rare mechanic that checks all the right boxes and doesn't stray into those two extremes. He kept me informed throughout the whole repair, wouldn't quit until he found the actual problem and only replaced what was necessary. In a world full of cheap shops that won't get the job done right and overly expensive places that throw a mountain of parts at the problem til it goes away Don's operation is a hidden gem. I will tell you it was more than worth the wait. The entire experience was top notch and Shima and Marsel in particular kept me constantly updated on the status of my car, they were both incredible. I got a great price and was also assisted with many configurator choices as there was so many available.
