    Yuma, Arizona Supercharger

We stopped at this Supercharger as our first stop after starting from San Diego and headed to Tucson. These were not fast chargers by any means, but if you plan to walk the old town main street, you wont be in a hurry. I had researched the area the night before and found that despite the reviews, there is actually quite a bit to see just a block away. The supercharger was empty when we arrived and we walked the 8 minutes towards the old town area with our two dogs, finding a bunch of grass along the way - a rare find at Superchargers in southern Arizona. Upon returning, we saw 2 other cars in stalls, the same 2 cars we would see at other chargers along the way. We ate lunch at a great brewery called Prison Hill Brewing Company. Great beer selection, and pretty decent food. Bathrooms available inside. On our return back to San Diego, we tried the Pint House which is across the main street and also found it to be a good waiting spot. Yuma was quiet, partly because of the Thanksgiving weekend, but also because of the pandemic and a lot of stores being closed. But its worth checking out the downtown area.

If you need a quick charge, I would stop here. As other people stated no amenities. Limited area for restrooms. Have to use one of the hotels.

4 stations working as of 11/16/19 Tesla navigation says site is down but I stopped anyways.

Weeks and months old trash, and some newer trash too.

Much better this time. All trash was removed. Glad someone cares. Looks like a bunch of brush was removed too. All plants have been trimmed back. Hoping it will stay this way.

Homeless person's belongings are stashed away behind the chargers.

Charging was very slow. Longer than usual wait time, just have to sit in the car nothing else to do unless your staying at the hotel.

No amenities, hotel won't let you use their restrooms and slow charge speeds - hardly super.

Ugh, love Tesla super chargers but this one has minimal conveniences. It also had charging issues when we needed it, so not a favorite.

We were pleasantly surprised to be able to check in to our room very early, and we also arranged a late checkout, which really helped us make the most of our quick trip (we were in town just for the day to go tubing on the river). The front desk staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly--when I had an issue with my reservation missing my Hilton number one of the team members helped me quickly and professionally. Breakfast in the morning was freshly made and tasty--just what we needed before heading out. Overall, excellent service across the board and a very comfortable stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Bit noisy at times. No airport shuttle. Breakfast isn't much and you have to pay for it ($12.95 cold continental). Happy hour at smallish hotel bar 5-7pm gets you a $5 draft. They do have snack items available 24 hours. And Old Town is within modest walking distance, and the convention center is across the parking lot. Antique train nextdoor. Oh- the blackout curtains will close, but are not easy to find (they are behind the scrims.) Just be sure to check the hotel's icemakers... some of them need a good cleaning out. (Ew!) I'd come back, but there are also other good hotels around that are similar value & a little more updated.

He took the time to ask what I enjoy, shared his knowledge of different brands, wrappers, and blends, and introduced me to several underrated cigars I probably would have overlooked. You can tell he genuinely loves cigars and enjoys helping others discover something new. So, just ask him to recommend a stick if you're feeling like trying something new or not sure what would hit the spot. With his recommendations, I ended up taking home a few My Father, Oliva Serie V Melanio, and Arturo Fuente cigars. It wasn't a sales pitch--it was just a great conversation between cigar enthusiasts. Unfortunately, I was traveling through and couldn't stay to enjoy a cigar in the lounge, but that's definitely on my list next time. It was just me this visit, but the next time I'm in the area I'll be calling a few friends to meet me here so we can relax, enjoy a few great cigars, and spend some quality time together. If you're anywhere near Yuma and appreciate premium cigars and knowledgeable service, Sun of a Gun Cigars is absolutely worth the stop. The interior is inviting and the chairs are very comfortable. Five stars all the way.

One thing to keep in mind, certain items (mostly the cosmetics and eyelashes) were a bit pricier than I'm used to but not by much and it's more than worth a little extra for an excellent and enjoyable shopping experience! The awesome vibe welcome contrast to the atmosphere in many local Phoenix beauty supply shops, where you're greeted by a security guard along you to leave your purse at the front lol.
