Ok I've been to a few teso in tx and I hate their employees follow you around for theft reasons I get it but it's annoying. Was I expecting a lil sneaky sneak employee watching my every move? Yes, but I was not followed around! I was pleasantly surprised that I actually took my time to look at things. The store is big size, many blind boxes to pick from, variety of snacks, skincare and house stuff in one building is quite nice. I love the information cards on what items are and I appreciate how clean and organized everything is. I went during a weekday and it wasn't packed so I would suggest going there. Pleasantly surprised! This store made me feel exactly like I was back in an Asian department store. You won't find "in your face" advertising here. Just a bright, clean, and neatly organized store where you can leisurely peruse the isles. They have a ton of collectibles, blind boxes and model kits. So much to choose from! My favorite was the stuffy section. Oh my cuteness! They were all adorable and so so soft. It's really hard not to buy all of them. They also have snacks on snacks on snacks! So many candies and chips. The stationary isle! Literally a whole isle of stickers. There's also a small freezer food section in the back. Lastly, skincare and makeup. You won't be disappointed. There was so many different toys and there were so many different things that you could buy from overseas from China, Japan, and more they had things that you could not even fathom. I absolutely think this place is adorable. I also love the things in it. I will be back to see them again. Miguel my cashier was absolutely wonderful. He had a smile on his face and acted like he wanted to be at work. There was another cashier. My number one favorite spot to shop Daiso... So I thought I would give this place a shot. I did enjoy going through the store. Lots of great things to see and I was surprised to see some anime there. We drove all the way from Lynnwood to check out this store after seeing many interesting videos online. We were impressed by how spacious and clean the store was, and by the organized and wide selection of products they had. They also carried many different kinds of blind boxes, including Skullpanda--though no Labubus. The staff was very friendly and helpful during our checkout process. However, we did not find the products particularly cheaper compared to T&T or online; there were only a few items on sale or promotion. They charged us 10 cents for a shopping bag, but the bags were made of sturdy plastic material, so they could be reused. Parking was easy, as there was a lot available. read more

I did want to check out this spot when they first opened but judging from reviews, maybe it was a good thing I didn't. I went with my mom several weeks later after they opened and it was decently busy where I had to make sure to be wary of children wandering around or people who were browsing weren't looking at where they were going. I don't blame them though as there is a lot to take in and I feel like I was there for about 30-40 minutes and I don't feel like I got to see everything they had. The diversity of products is very unique from what you would see at H-mart, Daiso, and Miniso. The prices seem pretty fair from what my mom and I could tell. The staff there seemed professional and friendly. It is definitely a wonderland for geeks and nerds as they had blind boxes, gunpla, several themed snacks, and themed lifestyle essentials. LONG LINE IF YOU COME LATER IN THE DAY! When we came there was no wait to get inside, but a huge line to check-out. It went fairly fast considering how far back we were. They came prepared with one person ringing up & the other bagging with a few registers open. but by the time we left there was a HUGE line just to get in. like down the length of the stores outside. not sure if i would wait an hour to get into this store, if i saw that i would just turn around and come another day. Service - the people ringing us up were both very nice. talkative & friendly. they bagged our things quickly. Came here during the 1st week that it opened and I will say that the place is super clean and well kept! Will say that it was super packed at the time. You'll always find an employee nearby so if you ever need help or had any questions they are literally right there sometimes. Their sections kinda gave me mixed vibes of like daiso x miniso x uwajimaya but 2x as big, you can almost find anything you need from snacks, skincare, stationary, etc. The prices for some items seemed pretty fair to me, I mean some of the product are from overseas so you do have to take that into consideration! I'd heard there were T&T-level lines at the grand opening earlier this month, but we went on a Friday night around 7:00 pm (7/25) and there was no line to get in and a very short line at checkout, just a couple of people. So maybe the hype is calming down a little bit? I had the impression this was more of a grocery store than it is. Mostly, they have model kits and blind boxes, snacks and drinks, office supplies and makeup, plus a random claw game section and some housewares. They have some staples like noodles and sauces, but you wouldn't want to go here for groceries. Everything looks very clean and well-organized, with wide aisles and lots of employees around. I will say, though, that the shelves are arranged to give the impression of a huge selection, but it's row after row of the same thing, so the variety is not as wide as a typical Asian grocery. However, for snack lovers, they have some unique things I haven't seen elsewhere. They had Pocky and Pejoy flavors that were new to me (like baked cheesecake and passionfruit), as well as Doritos flavors that I hadn't seen before, like Late Night Chicken Kalbi. They also have some Asian Starbucks Refreshers and other unique snacks. Prices seemed in line with other Asian groceries. The makeup section is pretty large and has lots of testers, makeup remover and cotton pads so you can try things out. They have a lot of Canmake makeup and a wide variety of K-beauty products. The checkout area is set up for a long line and it's feeder-style, so it seems like it would move pretty efficiently, but there was hardly any line when I went. Today (9/13/25), we dropped by this store pretty quickly to buy a few Blind Boxes from Emma, some drinks, Puchao Gummie candies and Korean Shin Ramen (On sale for $3.99/a pack). It was great browsing around the store, without much people in there, so we were able to navigate through the different aisles rather quickly. Saw that a few of the Blind Boxes were "Sold Out," and even the Gundam and a few other model figures were unavailable as well, so couldn't get a couple that we really wanted. But we still enjoyed our shopping experience. We received excellent customer service while we were there for a short time and parking was easy as there were ample amount of spaces available near the store. They had so many great Japanese and Korean skin care products the cutest little knick knacks and beautiful wooden puzzles that can work. They also had so many different types of blind boxes, I was drooling. I spent so much time just browsing, and ended up buying a couple of gifts. I am in Heaven. If Uwajimaya and Daiso had a baby it would be TESO. It's the new generation of lifestyle shopping. If you get overwhelmed easily, wait till the hype dies down. Otherwise, you're looking at 45 minutes to 1 hour exploring + standing in the checkout line that goes as far back as the claw machines...on a weekday. It's bright and colorful and they play music that makes you want to dance. Like Friday night GRWM pre-funk music. If you see a product in a different language that piques your interest, read the shelf barcode label or have a translation app on your phone. The store was well staffed but there were just too many people. It reminded me of the T&T grand opening without crowd control. Should South King FD be concerned? Absolutely. I hope they do a better job monitoring capacity this weekend for the sake of first time customers. Right now Federal Way is car-centric. World Cup is coming in 2026. I'm wondering how the city is going to help pedestrians (locals & tourists) navigate this area once the light rail opens. Came by the new Teso location to check out why there were so many people in line. The parking situation is a bit wild even though the lot is large. The traffic flow isn't smooth, especially with folks circling for Tesla chargers and the Bank of America being very busy. Inside, it's a sleek setup, and you can tell they put effort into keeping the shelves stocked and aisles clean. The efficiency at checkout is lacking a bit, but I'll give some leniency because they are a new store with insane foot traffic. I'm not sure how to rate this, but I visited the store briefly with my mom when the store first opened and immediately turned around and left. I noticed the clear lack of shopping carts which made it inaccessible for my mom who is disabled. I don't think I have ever walked into an Asian store that didn't have shopping carts.
