Right after I signed up, my husband who had…read morealready had his right foot amputated, was involved in an automobile wreck and ended up losing his right foot. He is now a double amputee. I have been taking care of him, myself and still working. I am unable to study or take any test. I even had to give up my dog. For the past four months, I have been trying to get my money back for the first test. I kept getting the run around from Prometric and when I called them, I was put on the phone with someone that did not know what to do. The last time I called them, I was told that the refund was approved. I was then informed in an email that I needed a doctor's note showing the emergency. Well, good luck getting that from a hospital in the amount of time that Prometric gives. I am tired of dealing with it and Prometric can keep my money for absolutely nothing. I hope they choke on it.

From the moment I arrived, I could feel the care, structure, and positive energy throughout the entire academy. The staff was attentive, nurturing, and fully engaged with the children -- it was beautiful to see. During storytime, the children impressed me with their focus, discipline, and excitement to participate. They listened so carefully and interacted with so much joy. We even created a fun little song together on the spot, and they jumped right in with bright smiles and enthusiasm. IKid Academy deserves a big congratulations for cultivating such a loving, organized, and enriching environment. The children played well together, shared naturally, and showed so much kindness toward one another. I left feeling inspired and truly impressed by everything I witnessed.

The mindfulness strategies provided by his tutor Cynthia (Northern Colorado) have been absolutely critical in changing his narrative about himself as a person and a student. Our son was in play therapy for two years. He has had 12 sessions with Cynthia, and has made more tangible progress in those 12 sessions than he ever did in play therapy. Cory and Liz have found their niche.

Both boys are on the ASD spectrum, and have been working on focus, anxiety, academics, and fine motor skills. There has been tangible improvement in all areas- both boys use mindfulness strategies at home, school, and in social situations. The mindfulness curriculum resonates and stays with them, and simple phrases and strategies help them cope with challenging situations. Math used to be almost impossible, and is now our 7 year old's best subject, and we are tackling reading next. Their handwriting is also much improved! The boys look forward to tutoring every week! I can't say enough great things about Corey and Liz!
