Avoid pockets! I don't get all the hate. You come here to take an exam, it's not meant to be fun. I had a great experience here. The test proctors were all super nice. I knew about them checking pockets, so I just wore leggings and a sweater. Like others have mentioned, the dry erase makers were a little dull, but the nice lady at the front let me try out a bunch to get one that was fine enough. It's just a small room with a bunch of cubicles. You get noise canceling headphones, but honestly everyone is super quiet and focused that you don notice much besides your test. Overall, good experience. Coming here again in a month. Wish me luck! read more

Canceling someone's test on a Sunday evening less than 12 hours before they were set to arrive is not how a business like this should run. Then to reschedule it 2 weeks later? But 25 minutes after I book my test, I realize I have to reschedule and move it 3 days later it is $45? Unbelievable. read more

I signed up for my first ER test four months ago. Right after I signed up, my husband who had already had his right foot amputated, was involved in an automobile wreck and ended up losing his right foot. He is now a double amputee. I have been taking care of him, myself and still working. I am unable to study or take any test. I even had to give up my dog. For the past four months, I have been trying to get my money back for the first test. I kept getting the run around from Prometric and when I called them, I was put on the phone with someone that did not know what to do. The last time I called them, I was told that the refund was approved. I was then informed in an email that I needed a doctor's note showing the emergency. Well, good luck getting that from a hospital in the amount of time that Prometric gives. I am tired of dealing with it and Prometric can keep my money for absolutely nothing. Denver location - Greenwood Village I panicked for a bit when I saw some of the comments about the test being cancelled at will, but that was not my experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, everything ran smoothly, no construction to interfere with the test taking. Great environment to pass! read more

My Lord this company and testing site is terrible! Avoid this place at all cost!!!! There was an error with their computer system and I wasn't able to take my Medical exam. The on-site staff were clueless and said they've never encountered that before so all they did was file a report. I studied for over 6 months for this exam and tried rescheduling it but after emailing the Prometric customer support and being on hold for hours in multiple days with an operator only to tell me they'll email me back and I got nothing. I can't even get a refund for the test I wasn't able to take. The company blames COVID for their terrible customer service, but they outsourced their customer support to India or the Philippines because the customer service reps had thick accents and I could hear livestock in the background. On top of that the customer service reps couldn't understand why I wanted to reschedule. Well it's because I paid for a test that failed to run on the Prometric testing site computer and my future medical career can be derailed! COVID is not the excuse because of remote work, the real reason is Prometric is a poorly ran company without a real customer service department. If you aren't able to take your test because of a computer issue, we'll good luck trying to reschedule and good luck with getting your refund. read more

This is a place that people don't frequent on a regular basis. It's a testing center for various proctored exams, such as FINRA and other industry-based exams. I have to take a Continuing Education module every 2 years to keep my financial license. Prometric is located inside an office building. Once you get to the office suite, you are greeted by the room monitor who explains the procedures. You have to remove everything from your pockets, no phones, iPods, water, purse, wallet, etc. Everything goes into a locker except for your ID and the key to the locker. Once you go into the next room, there's a security check with a wand over, then smile pretty for the webcam picture, sign in and then taken to the room with computers for your test. The people working there are generally friendly, but not overly so. For me, this is a get in, take my tests, pass it and get out. You don't hang around. Just understand the rules and nobody gets hurt. read more

You can't get excited about somewhere you take standardized tests. Nothing fun will ever happen at Prometric. Some perks: --Easy to find, and plenty of free parking. --Lots of lockers, so I felt safe leaving my stuff there. --It's right next to a bathroom, which is nice when your test only has ten minute breaks but you have to sign and fingerprint your way in and out (which makes it a five minute break). --The lady who was running the main check-in desk was pleasant. --Silence was enforced. Some minuses: --Temperature control is horrible. The testing rooms are just cold enough that your t-shirt won't quite cut it, but warm enough that adding your sweatshirt is too much. When you're taking a test that won't let you add or remove a layer, this sucks. --The earplugs provided by Prometric smell funny. --The lady with an accent who runs one of the testing rooms needs to calm down a bit. I did not appreciate being scolded for having an un-fold-out-able pants pocket at every single break. I also didn't appreciate being interrogated about my wedding ring on my way into the last section, after having obviously worn it for the last four hours. If you're like me, you won't have a testing location choice. In that case, I suggest a long sleeve shirt and a pocketless outfit. Other than that, it's not so bad as far as testing places go, but that's all the recommendation I'm willing to give it. read more

I have had the pleasure of taking the MCAT exam at this Prometric Center. As others have mentioned, it is a testing center located on the westward outskirts of the Denver Tech Center. From my experience, parking is certainly vast (my exam was scheduled on a Saturday) and the directions to the center were very straightforward. Compared to another testing center that I had to take my CSCS certification at, I felt like the employees had definitely been around the testing block a time or two or a few hundred! The employees and the process seemed very automated and almost disingenuous at time, although I wasn't really there to chat and have the time of my life. Use your common sense about what you think will be allowed into the secured testing center and you will be fine. For me, every time I left the testing room for a break, I was fingerprinted, had my picture taken, and had to sign a form signing in and out. While I understand the security of the test, sometimes the employees were working at a snail's pace and the timer on my breaks kept on counting - so keep this in mind on how much time to give yourself for a break! All-in-all, my testing experience went smooth and I was in and out of there in the allotted time allowed. The room was kept at a reasonable temperature (they will tell you to bring a sweater or hoodie just in case you get cold) and was actually quiet. I'm assuming that since you are going here that you have some sort of exam to take; so with that being said, Good Luck! read more

How excited can one get about a testing center? It's not like the facility helped me score higher than I normally would have. However, there are a few things worth pointing out: 1) Ample parking. Unlike other testing centers this location down by the DTC had plenty of parking FOR FREE! Way cool. 2) Very friendly staff. It's nice to feel at ease when going in to take a test. Like the stress isn't bad enough - a rude worker could ruin everything. But, Prometric has a courteous staff so it's all good. 3) I was a bit put off with the medal detecting wand. I mean, this isn't DIA or The Supreme Court so I don't see the point of getting "the wand." Just be prepared for this before you enter to test. I didn't find the testing room to be too loud but it was a tad chilly. Beyond that, I would recommend Prometric for all your testing needs :-) read more

This place is absurd! They called me the day before my scheduled test to request I get there 30 minutes early- wow, ok. I show up to find a line 20 people deep, going all the way into the hallway! My test was scheduled for 12:30, and it was 12:45 before I was seated in the testing room. Speaking of before I got seated, their process to getting you there is also absurd. I'm not faulting them their security measures, just the laborious way they go about conducting them, stick with me here: 1. Enter and stand in line. 2. Provide name and show ID to "check in". Be seated. 3. Wait for your name to be called in a random, arbitrary order. 4. Now please be seated in this other chair in another room. 5.Three minutes later: "Ma'am, have you been wanded yet?" Me: "No." Them: "Ok, well she'll wand you in a minute, please move to this other chair (literally 2 feet from the chair I had just been seated in)." Yes, I'm on my 3rd chair in less than 20 minutes. 6. "OK, please have a seat here." I now move to the 4th chair, in front of desk to finalize checking in. They take my picture, I sign in and I am finally escorted to the FIFTH chair in 30 minutes! This time I'm seated at my testing computer to finally commence my continuing education requirement. (PS- Thanks FINRA) I was involved with no less than 4 people for this insane process. Shouldn't there be a way to simplify and streamline this whole thing??? Oh, and you'll note I was never actually wanded. This seems like a big deal as I saw them wand other people who went out of the 2nd room and came back in, like they'd actually had time to ferret away contraband?! And what are they wanding for? I would think their security measures exist to prevent cheating, not safety. And to me wand equals safety of looking for firearms and other metal objects. But, hey, what do I know? Easy to park and easy to find. Temperature control was decent. Everything was clean. Computer chairs were pretty comfortable. I've used Pearson Vue, in same building, for my other testing requirements in years past, and I think I'll go back to using them as I've never had the above type of issues with them. read more

I just had selected one star as I think I should provide some mark for location. Other than this center is absurd. My wife went and gave exam there and the examiner was un experienced. My wife was having some scribbling in her hand which center examinors ignored at time of entrance and they realized it in first 5 minutes. My wife went and washed the scribbling and after that she was disturbed more than 15 times . She was realizing someone tapping at back and saying " hey you got phone", hey dont touch your hair", hey do you have any more writing": This is totally crap. I understand that we need to be strict and follow rules but this is nonsense. I would continue my complain as this has causes us so much mental disturbance as well as loss of thousands of dollars. I will request this center and ets to pay this back to me..... read more

I called to confirm my COMLEX Level 2 licensing exam for medical school, and the staff member said, "Ummmm.... Actually we don't do confirmations here, if your test is canceled we will let you know three days before your exam." WHAT!? you can't even look on your computer's calendar and say whether I'm scheduled or not? You realize if I can't take this exam, there won't be a class of graduating doctors to help you fight COVID, right??? This is terrible service, especially to those who are trying to help with this pandemic. If I could give ZERO stars I would. This monopoly of a company needs some good old fashioned competition so they lose all of their business for being such a terrible company. This specific testing site needs to get their stuff together. I would NOT recommend you test here, but I know you probably don't have a choice. Staff service was and is terrible. Company policies are terrible. Working with Prometric during the COVID outbreak has been the worst experience of my academic career. read more

Tested here in August 2009 for my GRE. It was one of the worst educational testing experiences I've ever had. I'm not going to blame the testing facility for my scores, because I actually did fairly well, despite the environment. The facility is only one room in a large building, so they can not control noise as well as they should be able to. There was construction going on somewhere in the building, so there was a constant vibration and subtle sounds of jack hammers.. exactly the noises you want to hear when taking a test that may determine scholarships and graduate admittance, right? The woman in the cubicle behind me was muttering curses through her test before she shouted across the room to the room monitor that she was on her lunch break and how much longer is her test going to take? Rather than escort her from the room, the monitor decided to have a conversation at her testing cubicle... he explained that he didn't know which test she was taking, that this facility administered many different types of tests for many different groups of people. All of this is taking place over my head while I'm wearing the silly little earphones they give you to block outside noise.. So much for that.. I was told to raise my hand if I needed more scratch paper, because you are only allowed so many sheets at once, and was ignored long enough that I had to get up-wasting precious minutes of a timed exam- to seek out the paper from the lady behind the glass. I contacted ETS, (not for a score cancellation, because again, it was the facility, not the test I was protesting) to reschedule my test in the hopes that they would give me some sort of a discounted rate. No such luck, I received a form letter in response. So I lost an extra $160 only to retake the test the following month and raise my scores 150 points with no additional studying. Unacceptable experience encountered with NICOLE on April 16, 2016 at Prometric Test Center # 0055, DENVER-GREENWOOD VILLAGE. I feel that the catalyst to all my problems was the extremely unprofessional employee that did my finger prints as I walked in to test that date named NICOLE. I was treated so poorly by this employee who appeared to be bullying me while I was at a pivot moment of taking my big exam. So after walking in the exam that was four hours long, I realized it was so hot I could not thrive in my exam, so while walking to the door to ask if they could lower the temperature, I read the thermostat near the door said 77 degrees in the testing room. I thought it was a reasonable request to report this to Nicole and ask if they could lower the temperature. NICOLE got very personal with her response, almost bully like and angrily told me they have no control over the temperature. I asked if there was a manager that could contact someone to regulate this and she was very rude in her manner of answering me with "NO!!" Thus I went back to my exam feeling powerless having to take an exam in this extreme temperature. Ten minutes further in, I realized I was going to fail this exam as four hours would be way too long to test in this temperature. So I went back to Nicole and saw another employee walking by, and I told that employee that the thermostat says 77 degrees, but Nicole says she has no control to help change the thermostat. Now here comes the most shocking part of my complaint: Nicole responded completely different with another employee in our presence. She responded now that she turned the temperature down to 73 so it should lower soon????? I asked her why she would not just tell me that last time, and also why is she being so rude to me and stating before that there was nothing she could do?? She yelled at me and said something like I was not so nice earlier?????? I do not know what she was referring to, nor was having any personal conflict with her whatsoever. She obviously had some serious conflict with me I was not privy to. I told her I have no idea what you are referring to, but I will write a letter and report this to prometric. The temperature dropped only for hour, and I spent at least 3 hours in 77 degree temperature. Let me explain that many people were there for half the time I was, so it would not have been so detrimental if I was taking a short exam. I only took one break because of all the time I lost with the unprofessional low quality assistance from Nicole. I feel like my test experience was severely influenced by Nicole. Also, I reported again to Nicole that when she changed the temperature to 73 is helped, but that now it is back to 77 degrees per the thermostat when I walked out, she said she knew this and that there was nothing she could do. I can say she appeared a tiny bit nicer when I told her I would be reporting this to prometric. I wrote prometric many times via their website to request an investigation into NICOLE's behavior. I was notified the regional manager was investigating. Months later and several follow up complaints, NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING SO I AM SHARING ONLINE AND SEE MANY OTHERS GAVE 1 STAR, MUST BE THE MANAGEMENT OF THIS LOCATION. I have taken so many exams in my life in Schaumburg IL and let me tell you the quality of management there puts this place to shame. Why was she not able to contact management or building maintenance? Why did she change her response the second time I came in? Why did she have such a personal bully type behavior when I made a reasonable request? How can that location safeguard the future test takers from similar incidents? Can there be a policy on what temperature the room should be? Is there ways to reduce any risks of employees at that location from repeating this incidence? read more

This place is relatively easy to find. I understand that this is a secure test facility, but they really need to post a concise list of prohibited items in the test room. The only information I had going in was from the Yelp reviews. I have test anxiety and I was not in good shape. The biggest detractor from Prometric's score was their staff. The women staffing the center were only marginally more tolerable than TSA agents. You get searched and wanded before you can go in (although at least they don't physically touch you or grope you like the TSA does). Be aware that you will be searched in full view of everyone, including lifting the hem of your skirt or trousers so they can visually inspect your ankles. You have to turn out your pockets and go through a wanded search each time you have to go to the bathroom or take a break. You can't even bring tissues or a watch, it is all locked in their lockers. You CANNOT access your cell phone until your exam is finished. They were inconsistent which was frustrating. I was allowed to check in wearing a cardigan and a scarf. Then I was yelled at for the scarf when I tried to enter the test center, then I was yelled at a second time by another staff person for carrying my cardigan. I tried to explain that I needed it in case the test center was cold. They were completely arbitrary, unreasonable, and rude. Considering the astronomical sum that was extracted from me for test fees, they really have no excuse not to do better. read more

I have taken financial exams all over the country at prometric centers and this by far is the worse facility. It was built in the early 80s probably and has not had any updates except for the bare minimum. The staff I worked work were clearly not highly skilled to do anything except follow the check in process. I worked with an old lady Hana who could barely speak english and was searched by a women who was clearly was disabled and had a hard time speaking too. When I asked to be checked in by someone else and was told no. I am going to go out of my way to avoid this location. read more

Took the MCAT here today. This was my first time taking a test a Prometric and I was pretty impressed. The check-in process was smooth and efficient. Security is tight but very necessary. The staff was very helpful and very courteous and the test center is pretty easy to find and parking is ample. Temperature control was pretty good (perhaps a tad on the warm side) and silence was well enforced. The MCAT is not a very fun exam, but Prometric made the administrative aspect of it very smooth. read more

Ok so I read the reviews of this place beforehand and was pretty concerned about going here. But alas, it was fine, as long as you are prepared. I took the PMP exam here this past Monday. They are located off the orchard station stop, and they have lots of parking in the lot. They are located in an office building in DTC and when you enter, you see a bunch of lockers. They ask for your ID and have you read a form with the rules. You put your stuff in a locker, keep your ID out, and leave your water bottle out for breaks (since you can't get into your locker while testing). They take you into another room, and they wand you down, and you have to show them your ankles and pockets. After that, they take you into the testing room which was very quiet, and they have cameras all around. I brought earplugs, but they have headphones for use. All in all, they were nice and I had no problems. After reading the reviews, and instructions beforehand, I took off all of my jewelry, watch and earrings. The bathrooms are down a hall so if you have to take a break to go to the bathroom, you must take your ID with you. Again, I think if you make sure you are prepared, leave jewelry at home, you will be fine. Also my appointment was for 12:30pm, but I ended up getting there at 12:10pm and they let me start the exam early which worked for me. I wanted to finish the exam as fast as possible! read more
