I will forever remember Grand Teton National Park. I loved it so much--it's definitely at the top of my list of favorite national parks. It's so diverse, oh so beautiful! I wish I could have stayed longer, but I'm very grateful for the opportunity to visit. Here are a few tips based on my experience: We lodged in Victor, Idaho, which was super convenient for Grand Teton NP. It's much more affordable, and the drive was beautiful. There is so much to do at GTP--I recommend exploring the park for at least 2+ days. Here's what I recommend. Start each day early: * 5:45 AM - Schwabacher's Landing (sunrise) * 6:45 AM - Snake River Overlook * 7:30 AM - Mormon Row (barn glow) * Jenny Lake Shuttle (8-8:30 AM, $20 RT) * Hike Hidden Falls (0.5 mi, 15-20 min) * Hike Inspiration Point (0.4 mi , 20-30 min) Take a break and have lunch at Dornan's Pizza Pasta Co. After lunch, head over to String Lake (swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding). End your day at Glacier View Turnout and Mount Moran Turnout for a scenic drive along Teton Park Road. read more

Grand Teton is hands down the prettiest national park I have visited. After a few days in Yellowstone and knowing our flight out was in Jackson Hole, we made sure Grand Teton was appreciated. The park is absolutely massive. There really isn't a main entrance to the park, just welcome signs along the highway. There are a lot of scenic routes and spots where you can park your car to get some views where there are not a lot of tourists. The mountains are breathtaking. Everywhere you turn you see the best views. They do offer recreational activities but we just wanted to check out the views. I do recommend going to Morman Row. It's a very popular spot to see the sunset and sunrise. The only complaint I have is not spending more time in Grand Teton. It can easily be a 3 day event so make sure you give yourself enough time to see everything read more

The Grand Teton National Park is a 310,000 acres national park in northwestern Wyoming. The park includes the major peaks of the 40-mile-long Teton Range & the northern sections of the valley known as Jackson Hole. When I was a kid I remember watching Bonanza and noticed the striking mountain range shown in the opening sequence. It has been on my bucket list for decades now, and I finally got a chance to go. We were setting up a trip from Mount Rushmore to Devil's Tower, and Yellowstone, then head south. I was delighted to see that Grand Teton's were right in our path. I mean how do you really rate a national park? The national park system is by design a preservation of the most beautiful landscapes in our country so I don't know if any of them can lead to any disappointment. And let me tell ya, Grand Teton National Park does not disappoint. There are two Yelp pages and this one is addressed in the city of Jackson, which I thought was odd but here I am. I'll make this one about the unpaid portions. Driving through this park is very easy, as there are a few highways that run through it. We were here in the off season, early November, so the roads were fairly clear of cars and it was almost like we were there alone. There were some people stopped at lookouts and there were some other cars on the road but it was not busy at all. I really loved the amount of lookouts and turnouts that you could stop at to take in the natural splendor that is this part of the country. The Tetons are an amazing sight and have a very interesting history. The place that I loved the most is probably one of the most popular, Snake River Outlook. This area is in the "free" area and has the most gorgeous views. I mean Ansel Adams made it very famous and I'm sure it gets busy but it's well worth the stop. We even saw a bald eagle couple flying around when we went. Absolutely breathtaking. read more

Came here a few weeks ago as part of my Yellowstone/Grand Teton NP visit. I was solo, and so I decided to hike the heavily trafficked Jenny Lake trail. Getting in was easy, not too much traffic getting in... but parking was a different issue. Jenny Lake is very popular with hikers and tourists, so parking can be a bit difficult during prime times. I circled around a bunch of times and luckily did come across a spot where some folks had just left. The views from Jenny Lake are absolutely gorgeous. From every angle of the lake you can see the beautiful jagged peaks, with plenty of green vegetation/trees nestled in front, and clear blue waters. When you think of Grand Teton NP, you think of this backdrop. I first visited the visitor center and general store. I wanted to find the national park coasters from Lantern Press (I've been a collector!) and they were found in the visitor center and NOT the general store (fyi). The folks at the visitor center were helpful in providing hiking recommendations and maps. As for the Jenny Lake trail... it's a 7 mile loop, that takes you around the circumference of the lake. Most of its well shaded, but there are parts where it's out in the open. You pass by some pretty streams (which connect Jenny and String lakes) and an open meadow area as well. For the most part, 1/3 of the trail is highly trafficked (from visitor center to the boat drop off area (left hand side)) but the other 2/3 of the trail is less trafficked, which can be nerve wracking if there are bear sightings. Were there bear sightings? YES! On the Jenny Lake trail? YES! Was I scared? YES! I found out about the bear sighting half way on my trail, and as a solo hiker I was worried. I had bear spray with me, so at least I had some protection. I found 3 other hikers who were walking in my direction towards the tail end of the hike (in the less trafficked areas), so I was fortunate for bumping into them and them accompanying me part way of the hike. My recommendations? If possible, hike with others because there are bears even on trafficked trails. The views are gorgeous, and are more enjoyable when you don't have to worry so much about bears (less worry when you're with others!) read more

Can't say enough great things about this national park. It's our fourth one now! Sunrise is an absolute must - Anywhere in the park! The way the Tetons glow pink is something you must experience. My other highly recommended activity is the boat shuttle at Jenny Lake. It's $20 round trip and it's a brief ride but so much fun. It is such a unique way to take in a national park. I also must mention, I loved the Jenny lake souvenir shop more than the main visitor center one. Can't wait to come back again and explore more! read more

Out of the 15 (and mostly East coast) National Parks that I have been to, Grand Teton is the clear winner for the most beautiful. It's one of those places that in every corner you see, it looks like a painting.... It does not look real! After spending a couple of days in Yellowstone, my friends and I decided to hit up this park for a day. Luckily, both of these places aren't too far apart, so they're easy to do in one trip. Grand Teton is also near Jackson, so there's plenty of lodging and other things to do in the area. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to drive around and hit up all of the spots we wanted to here... It really wasn't as big as I expected, which made things easier. And even though it is a popular park to visit, It didn't feel very crowded since it is so spread out. (I liked that part.) The snow-capped mountains, the open fields, the rivers.... There is so much beauty to take in here!! read more

It's impossible to give less than five stars to America's Best Idea - the National Parks - and Grand Teton National Park is no exception. I am a National Park lover and my visit to Grand Teton in June (2024) was designated National Park 58 of 63 for me. I was on a road trip from Los Angeles, CA to Buffalo, NY and purposefully went out of my way to visit Grand Teton (and three other parks). I enjoyed my brief time in Jackson, Wyoming but loved my time in Grand Teton as it was so peaceful and beautiful. I arrived early, early on a Monday morning and drove some of the scenic roads, stopping to take pictures, and marvel in the views before hiking to Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point near the Jenny Lake area. Of course I had to stop for a picture at the Grand Teton National Park sign as well as the picture perfect barns on Mormon Row. From there it was off to scenic viewpoints such as Snake River. By the time I made it over to Jenny Lake, it was difficult to find parking -- and it was before 10am on a Monday! Nonetheless, I got a spot off the road and explored the Jenny Lake area and made the decision to skip the boat/ferry and hike the entirety of Hidden Falls up to Inspiration Point. I experienced a few bear jams on the trail but unfortunately did not actually see any bears. I did, however, see the most stunning views and I was so happy to be back in a National Park and finally in a new-to-me park! Highly recommend this hike, even if it is one of the most popular in the park. I continued on the trail to go to Jenny Lake Lodge where I had lunch (Buffalo Burger, yes please) before hiking along the Jenny Lake Scenic Drive by foot back to my car near the Jenny Lake Visitor Center. All in all it was a great day and it wasn't even over yet! I got back in my car and found my campsite at Signal Mountain Campground. The bathhouse complete with showers was a welcome amenity as I definitely needed a shower! I returned to my campsite to set up my five-billion-star accommodation and make a campfire. I wrote out some postcards but started to not feel so great. Unfortunately I wasn't able to enjoy my time at the campsite like I had hoped but that was no fault of the park/campground - it was my fault...I suspect I did not have enough hydration while hiking. Anyway, I stayed the night and took off in the morning to take some more pictures before heading out and over to explore nearby Yellowstone National Park! HIGHLY recommend all of the National Parks - especially Grand Teton! read more

It's hard to rate a national park but here goes nothing. Grand Teton should definitely be on your list to visit as it's one of the most beautiful parks all year round. We visited in December so it was covered in snow to the point where towards the top of the peaks, the snow came up to my waist (I am 5'5 for reference). However, we were very underprepared for this steep climb. Firstly, it's important to start early if you plan on hiking. Secondly, make sure to be well equipped with shoe spikes, hiking gear, etc. Grand Teton is known for it's wildlife so expect to see some and maybe take some bear spray if you're going during warmer months. There are a lot of hidden gems that you can get to with a car and a small trek so do your research. We attempted to hike to Delta Lake but it was too far, too steep, with too much snow, and we were underprepared. Overall, I would definitely go again and it's a memory that I will cherish forever. I highly recommend visiting in the summer but also going anytime as I'm sure it's beautiful with lots to offer during every season. read more

This park is far more scenic than it's northern neighbor. The mountains are a beauty that you can enjoy from almost literally anywhere in the park. Technically you can enter some of the park without paying the entry fee if you're driving north from Jackson. Stay at Colter Bay for the most amenities, Signal Mountain for plenty of amenities closer to the main area, and Jenny Lake ONLY if you plan to go into Cascade Canyon multiple times. Otherwise the area isn't worth the noise and traffic. The bison heard basically lives in the area around Elk Ranch Flats. Spend at least four days exploring the park. read more

The still snow-capped Tetons definitely stole the show. Coming through from the South Entrance of Yellowstone, it was a little hard to distinguish where the park actually began, as there wasn't a stop to check our park pass. We took the scenic loop and took a little over an hour to check out a few stops. We didn't see any critters during our visit. The Jenny Lake Trailhead was definitely crowded, but my regret was not taking the scenic drive up to the Jenny Lake Overlook. 2023 #50 read more

It's truly amazing that this National Park is located so close to Yellowstone and that you can see both on one trip because Grand Teton is worth a trip all by itself. It's spectacularly beautiful and there's so much to see and do here. The mountains themselves are just gorgeous and picturesque even when seeing them in the rain like we did. The hiking is also fantastic here and the Taggart Lake Trail and hike to Hidden Falls/Inspiration Point were ones we would do again tomorrow if we could. We ended up coming here just for one day on the tail end of a Glacier/Yellowstone trip and we will definitely be coming back just for Grand Teton. You must come visit this national park. It's beautiful and so serene. The entry fee was fair & gained you entry to the park for the whole week. One fun fact -The Grand Teton's name likely comes from French-Canadian trappers who were part of early British expeditions who when they approached the range from the west, saw three tall mountains and named them Les Trois Tetons, which means "The Three Breasts". The name was later shortened and anglicized to "Grand Teton", which may mean "large teat" or "large breast" in French. The good thing is that the Airport is right next to the NP and even from the flight the views are majestic . We were a big group and can say with surety each one of us went back home with beautiful memories of this place. We were fortunate to have good weather on most days and were able to cover most hikes as we planned . A word of caution for those that might not be as lucky as us from the weather perspective -layer up . Even on a sunny day , you can suddenly experience heavy showers . This also has to be the NP where we saw the most wildlife from Bear sightings to Fox, wolves, elk , moose and deer -it was a treat. Great place to hike , picnic , drive ,bike ,fishing, boating , camping ,skiing etc. or just enjoy nature in general .We spent more than 5 days here and there was still plenty that we couldn't do . Plenty of great spots outside to get food and enjoy the scenic views . read more

This review is long overdue, I've been here both in the fall time and also the winter time. I've walked on the frozen lake and snowshoeing through the forest as well as walking around when the lake is still flowing. No matter what time of the year it is when you go, the beauty changes but it's always beautiful. Easily accessible by car, just need a four-wheel-drive in the winter time. I decided to wait to write this review after living in Jackson for a while and getting into the park a half dozen times. With that said, there isn't much i can say that hasn't already been said about GTNP. So after i say this, "this is one of the most beautiful, magical and stunning parks in the entire country" i will just give out a few pointers and suggestions. - Traveling to GTNP with a pet will be very limiting. Like most of the major and very busy parks you wont be able to go anywhere but on paved roads here with your pet and it is also not recommended (and against park policies) for you to leave your pet in your vehicle. You will still have an amazing time driving through the park and seeing the insane views. If you want to get in some hiking there are plenty of trails east of the park and on the other side of the pass in Idaho (still in the Teton range, just coming from the other side) - In the winter access is very limited by vehicle. Coming in from the East you will only be able to get to Cottonwood Creek Picnic Area where you can park and travel by foot as far as you want. The main road unplowed from there and is split into two main areas, snowshoeing/hiking and skiing. Dogs are welcome here but you must remain on the road. The south entrance on Moose Wilson road is closed in the winter but you can walk/ski this road as well. The north entrance up by Moran is open and you can drive up through here for quiet a while. A great place to go in the winter is up here to Jackson Lake where you can ice fish or walk around on the frozen parts of the lake. If you keep diving the road eventually closes up at Flagg Ranch where you can park and hike/ski. - The park is gigantic so don't worry if Jenny Lake is overcrowded or too busy, you can come back later in the day or another day and still have plenty to do. As i mentioned the northern part of the park is much less crowded and just as beautiful. - As always please leave no trace behind when out there, be courteous to others, respect the staff, if you want to look at wildlife do it at a distance, and be aware of your surroundings as this is bear country. read more

"The Mountains are calling and I must go..." [John Muir] It's summertime in mid-July and the year after the Covid-19 pandemic. People are itching to get out now that most of the country has reopened... that's including us! Yeah, I dislike crowds but this was nice to see, seeing the park full and people enjoying themselves again w/o masks. Not fully vaccinated guests should continue to wear masks, though. We entered the park from the south at the Moose Entrance. Grand Teton is famous for spectacular mountain scenery and wildlife. Black and grizzly bears are active in the park but we did not encounter such. If you have a National Passport stamp book you can get your passport stamped at the three Visitor Centers: Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center (Moose Entrance), Jenny Lake, and Colter Bay. The weather in July was warm in the 80°'s. The park has a very short window of good weather so we were lucky to be there at a good time. For venturesome visitors there's lots of hiking and biking trails, campsites, boating and fishing activities, mountain climbing on the Teton Range (not for us, though)... how about scenic driving, yes, we did this and we did enjoy the stunning views of that Teton Range from afar. There's plenty of turnouts to enjoy the views and read about the geology, wildlife and plants from their interpretive signs. Drive safely... 45 mph inside the park! The popular Jenny Lake is beautiful and we enjoyed beautiful panoramic vistas of the peaks as backdrops. Reminded me of Lake Tahoe! We were going to stop at the picnic area here to have our lunch prepared by Running Bear Pancake House (separate review) but it was too crowded so we stopped at the Catholic Bay picnic grounds at Jackson Lake. So peaceful and relaxing. We finished our journey at Grand Teton by making a stop at the Jackson Lake Dam and watching as the water was being released. wow, that was wild (and dangerous). The park is 45 miles in length from north to south, 26 miles maximum width. We finished our scenic drive in 4-1/2 hours and we entered Yellowstone National Park from the South Entrance. That's crazy! If I had to describe it, it would be a tiny Yellowstone. Yes, there are no geysers in this park, but there a multitude of different opportunities to enjoy. Jenny lake seemed to be the hotspot, so make sure to get there early. Although if you go down the road a bit, there should be a loop at which you can pull off and walk just a little bit extra. Jenny lake itself it stunning, and the water is so so clear. If you want to get away from the crowds, make sure to visit Mormon Row, where you can take the iconic photo in front of the barn (there are also cute prairie dogs here!) Also, Schwabacher Landing is a great spot for a family photo and may not have as many crowds (we saw a moose!) As afternoon came around, we went to the marina for our boat tour. I would HIGHLY recommended the dinner boat tour to Elk island where the food was incredible. The drive back to our place was stunning with the sunset over the Tetons and the Snake River. read more

Grand Teton National Park is a gorgeous national park that is best known for the grand mountain range, with the highest peak being, well the grand teton. This national park is very different from Yellowstone. With Yellowstone (which is about an hour away and worth a visit), I would say that this is better for the scenic drive and view as you can see most things features in this national park which includes geysers, hot springs and more. But I feel that with Grand Teton, if you want to see more than the mountain range, you would have to hike (weather permitting). But just like Yellowstone, you may also be able to see wildlife, including elk, deer, buffalo, black bears, beavers, ottos and foxes. My husband, our little girl dog and I ended up staying at this park for 2 days, staying one night in one of the campgrounds. When we had visited (just a few weeks ago), it was incredibly cold and had snowed and rained. Because of that, we ended up not hiking but were still able to walk on paved paths, take the boat to Inspiration Point to see Jenny Lake and still enjoy the sights. One thing that I do wish I had brought with us on our trip was binoculars. Sadly when we stopped on the side of a road because we saw many other cars doing so, we found out that many people (with those gigantic camera zoom lenses) were here trying to capture some amazing photos of a black bear and her baby cubs. A very nice photographer by us actually showed us some great shots she captured so that we could see what everyone was looking at, lol. If you wish to visit this national park, it will cost $35 for a 7 day pass. But as I had mentioned before when I review national parks, if you plan on visiting other parks, it is well worth purchasing an annual pass, like the one we purchased (America the Beautiful) so that you can visit as many national parks as you wish within a year. After visiting 2-3 parks, you would have already made your money's worth. Also you may also get some discounts at some of the campgrounds at the national park with your pass. My husband was able to get 50% off for the one night we stayed. Because Grand Teton is at a higher elevation, it tends to be rather cold all year round. Although the warmest months are in the summer (June, July and August, but the weather is still not very hot), make sure to dress accordingly. read more

The places I would suggest in priority would be... -Schwabachers Landing - I'd suggest going for sunrise -Jenny Lake/Hidden Falls/Inspiration Point/Cascade Canyon -Taggart Lake -Mormon Row -Church of Transfiguration -Lakeshore Trail (I wouldn't suggest the trail but just the area near Jackson Lake) -Phelps Lake (I wasn't too impressed with this lake compared to the others) read more

The only National Park with an airport in it. I've passed through many times flying into Jackson and on our way to the mountain, but I'll never forget the epic summer trip we had here. Wildlife in abundance. This is prime bear country, so be sure to have bear spray with you and don't travel solo. Make noise. Give wildlife its space and be smart. On our Jenny Lake loop trail, we waited out a moose right on the trail. That's a huge animal to see so close and we were grateful when he moved up the hill to graze and we were able to scamper by. It wasn't much further along when other hikers alerted us to a mama bear and cub nearby. That's where you need to be cautious. We spotted them and stayed away until they passed. We found a good spot along the lake for lunch and a beer-you packed that, right? Back on the trail, we had just about finished the loop when I rounded a corner on a black bear, with a tawny coat, eating berries about twenty yards ahead. What a rush! Well, little did I know that was nothing compared to when some impatient jackass got way too close and found himself between mama bear and the panicked cubs that we were just now noticing. Perhaps my favorite NP. Definitely top five. It's unfortunate that it's right below it's much more popular NPS brother to the north but perhaps that's a good thing. Much less crowded. Also a lot closer to Jackson Hole so you get to do a lot more before heading back to your hotel for the evening. Jenny lake is gorgeous...as it should. You get there early and when the sun hits the lake just right with the reflection of the Tetons. Not many things are more beautiful read more

I had no idea how close Yellowstone and Teton are.... they're like 1-1.5 hours away on the same road! This park is more like what you think of when you think of a woodsy, mountain, lake national park. Yellowstone is something like you went to the moon with bubbling sulphur springs and strange areas... it's wonderful and amazing. But Grand Tetons is beautiful and laid back and full of elk and bear and deer wildlife. It's also super close to Jackson Hole which is a fun town to start from with a beautiful small airport you can fly into that is actually located within the National Park - it might be the only commercial airport of it's kind in a national park, if not the only, certainly one of a few. Highly recommend the Jenny lake hike. I would skip visiting Signal Mountain - it's a long drive on a windy one-way street and the view at the top is not impressive. No real view of Tetons as it faces the opposite direction and it's not going to be amazing. We wasted probably 45 minutes to drive up and back and I'd skip it entirely if I knew better. Spend more time at Jenny Lake, hike to the waterfall, Inspiration Point and Cascade Pass. Then do some other hikes in the park. They have a large and beautiful visitor's center here loaded with fun and interactive things to do for adults and kids as well as tons of great items in the gift shop if you want some swag. read more

Yellowstone's southern, more laid back neighbor. The landscape is drastically different if you're coming from Yellowstone. There are two massive lakes, Jackson and Jenny lakes, across from them are the Tetons mountains. If you're visiting this park I highly recommend staying inside the park. The drive to any of the exits is at least a half hour drive. There are plenty of trails here but the lakes and wildlife spotting is where we spent our time. We unfortunately kept missing the famous grizzly, 399, and her cubs by minutes but we spotted plenty of beavers, moose and elk. After the massive amount of driving we did in Yellowstone, Grand Teton was the perfect place to kick back and relax by the lake. read more

I had no idea Grand Teton even existed until I was planning my trip to YNP. I stayed a night in Jackson Hole and started my adventure to Grand Teton for the day. I hiked Taggart Lake which was my only real hike for the day. It took quite a toll on me, but worth the view. Visited Mormon Row, Jenny Lake, and hiked Schwabacher Trail, I came a little too late in the day to take the boat ride across Jenny Lake. But for the time I spent in Grand Teton I really enjoyed my visit. Due to Covid some services/facilities may be limited. read more

Grand Teton National Park - Parks Near Me - Jackson, Wyoming

How do you really encapsulate the wonder of Grand Teton in words? You really just have to see it. And you should probably spend more time there than I did, as I only had the better part of a day to drive. I visited just after the park had reopened, post COVID lockdown. Much of the park was closed still, at least the facilities and amenities. I was staying nearby in Idaho, and we had a day to get in, make the drive, and take in as much as possible. I was raised around mountains, very much in my own backyard, so the idea of having big peaks so close is not foreign to me, but the Tetons are in a class their own. Those craggy rugged rocks reach to the sky, and in fact, on my visit, the top was almost always covered in clouds. It was snowy earlier in the weekend, and snowed a bit in the park, so it was not a bright clear day. Still, the moody blues of the sky made for a wonderful backdrop of the dark and foreboding mountains. We got out a few times. We walked and picnicked at Jenny Lake. We saw the shoreline at Colter Bay. We took a diversion down to see THAT barn on Mormon Row, and that was definitely a fun part of the journey. It was an incredible drive with a new viewpoint of the river, mountains, or something historic at every turn. We didn't, however, see much wildlife. It seems that folks park by the side of the road and wait for hours to get a peek, and I'm not so into the crowds of wildlife shutterbugs, but if that's your thing, this park has plenty of it. I'm eager to go back and do some hiking--to get some of those Tetons underfoot and to get a real feel for the place. I'm eager to see it in fall. I'm eager to see the summer crowds at Colter and try the terrible food and get a patch at the visitor's center. I'm eager to go back. read more

Yes! Yes! Yes! Everything about this place just screams gorgeous. Keep in mind that this park DOES close in the winter time. Even in our Google maps, it would say "closed from Nov-March/April" so remember that when you try to do your trip planning. Other than the fact that I was proposed to here, Grand Teton is a MUST on your list. There's nothing too strenuous here but you can also search that yourself if you want something challenging but everything seemed pretty doable and man oh man, every turn is just gorgeousness. What's also great is that the Jackson Hole (JAC) airport is literally next to the park so that is the place to fly into. We stayed at Colter Bay Campground. Very nice and there are showers & laundry services! Our itinerary was - -Grand Teton National Park sign -Mormon Row Historic District (sunrise) -Antelope Flats Road (we saw elk & bison) -Hidden Falls & Inspiration Point (you need to take the Jenny shuttle for $20 RT to get there or you can add a 2.3 mile one way hike to get there) -Jenny Lake Overlook/String Lake -Signal Mountain Overlook -Oxbow Bend We were able to accomplish all this in 2 days. And it was a lot of fun and so much beauty to see & admire. All the things in the itinerary is easy to get to and not hard hikes. Highly recommend! read more

I finally made it to Grand Teton National Park. I wasn't the least bit disappointed. This place is astoundingly beautiful. Although it is much smaller than nearby Yellowstone National Park and has no geysers (at least of which I am aware), I consider Grand Teton more beautiful than Yellowstone. We stayed in Wilson, Wyoming during our multi-day visit to Grand Teton National Park. Wilson is usually an easy drive if you take the Moose-Wilson road instead of driving through Jackson. Unfortunately, Moose-Wilson Road was closed for construction while we were there and we had no good alternative to driving through Jackson. There was only a short stretch of that road that was previously unpaved. It may be open by now (July 2022). There is plenty of wildlife to see in Grand Teton, though not as much as in Yellowstone. But we got our best, close-up look at a large male moose in the parking lot of the condo we rented in Wilson during our visit. Oddly, none of the Grand Teton National Park maps indicated where the nipples could be found. I guess you just have to find them yourself. read more
