Very information and accommodating of all ages. I would recommend children over the age of 5 though. My family walked away with a great experience, a better knowledge of raptors, and close up photos of 3 "ambassador" raptors. The team was knowledgeable and kind/excited to answer any questions. The raptors were beautiful. Overall 10/10!!!

My friends and I got to experience the Teton Raptor Center through one of their outreach education visits while I was in Jackson. They came to the National Elk Refuge and brought several different raptors along so we got to see them and learn more about these awesome animals after the elk refuge tour. They had an owl, a golden eagle, a kestrel, and a red tailed hawk. The birds are so amazing and it's almost breathtaking to see them up close in person. The golden eagle and the kestrel were my favorites -- we learned about the sheer strength of the golden eagle's grip, which was mind-blowing! Its wingspan is huge! The kestrel is a very beautiful bird with blue feathers. The handlers from TRC were super knowledgable and happy to answer any questions. I am so glad we got to see these animals and learn more about the TRC's conservation efforts.

We attended an hour-long educational session, but we wound up staying there for another half hour just talking to the staff about the great work they do (and donating to the Poo Poo Project - something not to be missed). What you see depends on which birds are being rehabbed. You could see an owl, a hawk, or an eagle... or other raptors. The key is in the presenter. Becky was great. She held the 4 of us in full attention for the entire hour - interspersing humor and bringing in the audience to participate.

We found this hidden gem while staying in Wilson, what a lovely center to visit. The staff were just so kind and we learned a lot about raptors. My 3 kids were enchanted! We met one of the residents, Violet the peregrine falcon. They have a cute coloring station for kids too and a nice gift shop. Wish we had more time to go to one of the talks. Highly recommend!! read more

Yay raptors!!! You're in Jackson Hole, whaddaya gonna do?? I hope you're gonna go see some raptors, cuz ya don't really ever get an opportunity to do such a thing and it is quite special. Shout out to the amazing staff at the Teton Raptor Center! What a great job you do! These folks are some of the good people in the world. This is a neat excursion just outside of Jackson where they rehabilitate and study raptors of all types. The hour long presentation in the afternoon is very informative and educational. Jesse gave an excellent presentation, answered everyone's questions, and made it fun for all ages. It is also non profit, so every dollar is helping the birds. read more

Highly recommended visit. It is a beautiful center. Becky, who did the Raptor Encounter presentation, was on one of the best environmental speakers I have had the pleasure of listening to. She was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. She managed the child and adult audience extremely well and everyone felt they had participated in a great program. The Peregrine falcon, owl, bald eagle, and golden eagle were amazing. read more

What a great afternoon we had at the raptor presentation at this facility off Highway 22 in Wilson (just west of Jackson), WY. We joined about 20 other people (some children) to listen to Becky do a show-and-tell about red-tailed hawks, golden and bald eagles, barn owls, and the Eurasian eagle owl. It was fascinating to see these predatory birds, all being rehabbed after damage in the wild. It was a great afternoon capped off by a visit to their gift shop that offers something for everyone. Great center to learn and see raptors being rehabilitated. We also took part in their Friday Float boat trip down Snake River and saw many birds and a bunch of bald eagles! The 2pm presentation was great. And Becky is the best presenter. We saw an Eastern Screech Owl, Barn Owl, Peregrine Falcon, Golden Eagle, Red-tailed Hawk, and a Great Horned Owl as part of the presentation and that were on site. Very worth a trip if you are interested in raptors at all. read more

teton raptor center-jackson hole, wyoming. Bald Eagle is named RIVER & she flew from trunk to trunk and posed for pics. Took her bath, dipping her body & head in the water. Fun to see her enjoy the water & jump in & out of the water. Guide said the male eagle overhead was eyeing her as a mate. read more

On Mother's Day weekend , my wife wanted to check out this place since we were all off. We also heard that you can pay to feed the bear cubs. Who doesn't want to feed a bear cub??? Unfortunately, bear cub feedings starts on Memorial Day weekend. This place is a drive thru experience where you will see beavers, deer, elk, and bison before you see the bears. There was a couple really cool whiteboard elk! The second half of the park you will go the through the bear exhibit. If you haven't seen a bear up close, this is the place to see one! Thank goodness for windows! We went around 10am and ALL the bears were active! They were charging one another and you suddenly have this sense of FEAR come over you as you see them charging your way! You can go around as many times as you like if you "bearly" saw anything. There are other exhibits such as a dinosaur area where they have life-sized models and one even had animatronics. We didn't go to this display this time around. The gift shop is conveniently placed in the middle of the park to lure you into purchasing your bear paraphernalia since you still have your emotions of experiencing a bear up close running high. It worked! We bought a bunch of cool bear souvenirs The petting zoo had a bunch of goats that will come running to you as you turn the crank on the pebble food dispenser and will steal all the pellets from your hand if you're not careful. Lol. Overall, this was one of the best experiences I've had at a "zoo!" We're coming back to feed a bear cub!!!

At the end, you can choose to go around again for free or check out the rest they have to offer. They have a small amusement park that I would say is more for little kids. They have a tiny petting zoo. They have a place where you can watch people feed baby cubs. Feeding the cubs cost extra. They have a Jurassic dinosaur area where they have animatronics dinosaurs. The gift shop has some fudge that looked really good. We were lucky and were able to go the first week they opened months ago.

Wilderness Trails is family owned, rural, one of a kind. We felt like a family on the prairie. They literally plop horse corrals and tents and cooking station in the middle of grand Tetons and Yellowstone on a meadow/prairie like plot of land. All the staff live there in tents and some campers and so you basically join "their family" and live that life. They had a professional chef that came from a Michilin Star restaurant (he was not technically a Michilin chef) but food was amazing and so well Done! We got to eat with our horse wranglers and the chef and felt like part of their family. They all had their own dog and my kids had so much fun running around with all The doggies:) they had a warm outdoor like shower and you are in the middle of nature bathing amd my daughter said it was the best shower of her life! It was my 7 year olds first time horseback riding and she did just fine! My other kids were 10 and 12-they wanted to "live there" and asked if we could have their bday parties there. Was worth every penny! Wish we planned to stay longer
