Price gouging. I visit this store regularly I purchase items from them at least monthly. Then needohs became popular and they have decided to do a money grab on the popularity of them. Msrp on a piece of cake needoh is $4.99-6.99. These guys are selling them for $24.99. Nice berg is $11.97 they are selling for $29.99. You get the idea. These guys are marking up the price an insane amount. I will be reporting them to the Schylling brand. As should anyone else that finds this practice disgusting and unethical. Everyone should look out for this when buying from teton toys! i know needohs and dumplings are popular right now but there pricing is not worth it! Not only that but their dumplings are fake! Go to RMS instagram they have a whole post about how to spot fake dumplings! It's better to go to five below and get the mini dumplings for $1 and the big ones for $5. Last time i went they had dumplings for $20-$12 and for fake ones?? Not worth it. I bought two one for me and my sister and we got totally fake mini ones. I returned it immediately because there's no way i'm paying 5x the cost for something fake. Another thing is their needohs are way over priced to the point im liek are they even real?? Needohs range from $3-15 and they are selling them for $10-25 like that is insane. I did buy needohs and ended up keeping them but i spent $60 when i would have spent $20 if i just bought the from walmart or target. I know the hunt is hard but dont over pay for something like that, some of my needohs have broke and i got them 2 weeks ago, it's not worth it. Service is bad too, what do you mean you dont know your stuff is fake??? Pretending like it's the real deal but then it's not?? I don't recommend buying anything from here. That's all. read more

I'd be a liar if I said I didn't enjoy going into Teton Toys to just look around, I'll do this on occasion with my family to see what's out there but we never buy things from Teton Toys because they make everything up from retail, especially on the Lego. They're selling some Lego sets 10%-20% over retail when they're not even retired yet so I definitely recommend researching your items before purchasing them from here. I do have to commend Teton Toys on their selection of toys, they have everything you can imagine and something's you've never heard of and the lay out of their stores makes it easy to find things. read more

I wanted to like Teton Toys better as it seems like a charming and well-stocked toy store like you could find in Europe. However, after browsing the selection and speaking with the staff, it makes me think of the old days of local Hammonds Toys: prices are often above MSRP (manufacturer's prices) and service sub-par. We buy a lot of collectibles, games, die-cast, and LEGO so I'm well familiar with what I was shopping for. I was looking for a LEGO Chinese New Year set. They had it in stock for $169, when it sells direct from LEGO (online or brand stores) for $119. A new Architecture set that sells for $59 from LEGO or Target was priced at $79. They would not price match, and were quite rude about it. So I bought them at normal prices elsewhere and will continue to do so. Some Cars die-casts that I hadn't yet found elsewhere, normally retailing at $3.50-4.00 each were priced at $6.99. Some Schleich animals, which my son collects, were also above normal retail prices. Some trains which we've collected which are normally around $25 each were pushing $35. Board games and puzzles seemed just slightly above normal retail costs. Teton Toys may be priced for customers who are impulse buyers--and they certainly have a lovely modern store stocked decently for appealing to such. But for any shopper who knows what they are seeking and what the going rates are, I just can't see why to do business here. Notwithstanding that our economic times make price-sensitivity completely reasonable as well. read more

This store has a great selection of toys and wonderful employees eager to help! We have 4 grandchildren from ages 2 through 9 and their selection was marvelous...classic toys, scientific toys, sticker pads, family games, you name it! I would have liked to see a few more "Spidey" toys. I have never encountered a more helpful, enthusiastic employee. When we told her that the owner was very lucky to have her, she simply said that she loves her job! Gifts were wrapped beautifully which saved us time and money. Fabulous business! read more

This new toy store in Station Park has something for every kid - from games, stuffed animals, dress up, legos, and even science stuff (found the microscope kit my daughter wants). I really dislike the business model of buying out stock at retail stores in order for stores like this to make a tiny profit. I can't find these products at stores even when they're still fairly new because of Teton. I wish this business model would die so that we can afford to buy things at retail price. read more

This toy store is the most amazing place to take a child to or buy a gift. It's so fun, they have a great variety of toys for all ages. I would give 5 stars but I learned they don't price match and some of the items are cheaper other places. We purchased a magnetic putty for my daughter. The putty is crap and is not not very attracted to the magnet. It does not suck up the magnet like a previous putty, nor does the putty move towards the magnet. We brought it back within a few hours (with receipt) to see if we could return or exchange. The clerk told us it was our loss, they said they do not guarantee that what they sell will actually work. I can go elsewhere and get better service and spend less money. Amazon would deliver the same product to my door for less. I liked to shop Teton to support small business, however I will no longer go out of my way to shop there. It's a 40 minute drive one way. I'm out the gas, time, and the cost of a crap product they won't stand behind. Teton is no longer worth my time, money, or effort. read more

First, prices are high. Not just a little high, but can be double what you'd find at Target. Second, tried to return a kit today that was missing pieces. Manager said I was lying and refused to return the item. That's two strikes against them. They don't get a third. read more

Wow, what a hidden gem! I cannot believe I've driven past here so many times without even noticing this store. I thank my fellow Yelpers for their positive reviews which helped me discover it. Teton Toys must be one of the greatest toy stores anywhere. It was much larger inside than I expected. Toys, games, puzzles, you name it--there are tons of them here, and they're stacked floor to ceiling everywhere you look. Indeed, the aisles are narrow so that they can squeeze in more shelves... and this is a great thing. The staff was wonderful. Friendly and cheerful to a fault, they were very glad to assist me even though I arrived right before closing time. This is what great customer service is all about. I will be very happy to continue supporting Teton Toys in the future. read more

This place is super fun. We always come over here after my kids get their haircuts and they like to play on the train table while I stock up on gifts. Unfortunately, things are often much more expensive here than they are on Amazon, at target, or even at home goods. They have a fabulous selection and they have everything you could ever dream of. I feel like this is a great place for grandparents to shop when trying to find the absolute perfect toy when they want a huge selection, and don't care so much about how much they're spending. But for us young moms buying birthday gifts for Our kids friends or letting our kids spend their birthday money... It's just a little too expensive. Every time I come in, I do try to buy something small to support them. But that's really all I can afford from them. I wish their prices were a bit more reasonable because I have such a great selection and I love that we have this kind of a place so close. Yay for small but AMAZING toy shops. I have been here a few times and have really enjoyed myself. My 1 year old loves running around and playing with the train sets they have out to play with. Their customer service is A++++ They always welcome you as you enter and are so good about answering any questions or concerns. I saw an employee today talk with a kid about pokemon cards for like 10 minutes because he was having a hard time deciding what to get. Love that. They also have a loyalty program where they give you 5% off your purchases for signing up for their emails. Every penny counts! They had stuffed animals, tons of star wars toys, melissa and doug everything, marbles, legos, cars, and much much more. Pretty much a child's dream. So glad they are here in Utah and love hacving another option other than toys r us. read more

I really hate to write reviews like this, as it had a lot of promise and I had very high hopes, given how gangbusters it came on, but this place has skidded considerably for me. I can contend with higher prices, however, when they're charging nearly double for say Marvel Legends figures, not only past Wal-Mart or Target, but all the way down to comic shops and collectible shops, there is a problem. Selection has also taken a substantial nosedive and after stopping in 4 or 5 times in a row and not finding anything to move the needle for me to actually buy, I've decided to commemorate my resolution to not set foot in there again with this unfortunate downgrade as well. I try to support local; I like supporting local, but there are also places that no longer deserve the love and sad to say, this is now one of them. read more

This place is just the best. There are so many little gems and the employees are so helpful and passionate. Buying toys here is an experience, not like the robotic experience of buying something off of Amazon, or the rushed and trashy experience of Walmart or Target. Teton Toys makes shopping fun again. The negative reviews about the prices are just classic cheap Utah County. Could you get a cheaper price at Walmart, sure. Excellent little toy store with excellent customer service! This store has unique toys that are hard to find in big box stores as well as all the typical stuff. The customer service was great!
