6 bucks was too much for this…read more I ended up here for lunch as the line was too long at Quick Chek. The truck was visible from Talmadge Rd, so I pulled in. I saw that plain dogs were $2.50/ea and dogs with any toppings were $3/ea. I figured they had to be decent, so I got two dogs with chili and mustard. The dogs were not snappy(like a good dirty water dog), nor were they grilled. Bland is the only way I can describe it, and kind of a mushy texture. The chili was an all beef(no bean) canned variety, possibly Hormel, again lacking flavor or any spice. Going to a hot dog truck, you expect to get at least an average hot dog. I have had better Chili dogs from 7-11 at less than half the price. The lack of ANY other patrons at the truck at a highly visible location just after noon should have been a red flag. I won't make that mistake again.
