this school ruined me as a old student there mentally and her friends this school did nothing about…read morethe drama that happened especially when her old friend's mom sent her and her friends threats and they dont care how you feel they tell you there gonna get things done but they never did. they never used the cameras to back us up on anything even when we ask they lie and tell us no when the cameras do work. That school isnt right for your child im saying this as a student who used to go there ive had been in the harmony district for the for 5 years and they never helped my education and the teachers there were terrible they would throw objects at us and cuss at us and the school never believed it until it was saw and heard but the whole class.DONT GO TO HARMONY SCIENCE ACADEMY

My boys had the pleasure to be a part of this family for 2 awesome years. Great environment,…read moregreat staff and great teachers. If a problem does arise they are prompt and willing to address and/or correct it. Other than not offering students a designated unstructured break (reason for only 4 stars) I am pleased with all other aspects. BTW: A friendly heads up, very strict with excessive tardies, which is understandable. Teachers are very involved and admin always makes themselves available (special thank you to Ms. Gomez). Kudos to the lovely ladies in the front office, always a pleasure to see you. ( which was quite often with our excessive tardies, lol) All in all will miss being a part of this family. *almost forgot, much credit to the academic and extracurricular team for consistently exposing and encouraging the students to participate in many various clubs and programs offered both on and off campus.

The most worst middle school you can send your child to…read more They have the worst way of thinking they stop bullying. They actually make the bullying worse. Students are constantly being belittled by teachers . Staff is VERY RUDE!!!! VERY VERY RUDE!!! Especially the "secretary" that sits at the front desk and literally cares more about how she looks than being attentive to what's going on. I've had to stand there a few times and it's not until I say something is when she offers to ask what you need. Only good thing they have going is the police officers that are assigned to the school and the ATTENDANCE LADY she is very professional and has the upmost respect for parents and students.

This has to be the WORST middle school I have ever encountered. Everything is COMPLETELY…read moredisorganized and while the Principal, Vice Principal and School Secretary have a great attitude the rest of the staff, in the office, needs a complete overhaul. The first time I went in to get information about registering my son I was greeted by Rose Lopez. She was extremely rude and inconsiderate. To top it all off she lied to me. We were going over some information about about my son, who has Aspergers, and she told me, "I'm new here, I don't have any answers for that." When she went to get someone to answers my questions I noticed a certificate on her wall from the school dated 2009. New? Really? I found out that they adopted a new process and it was confusing for everyone. That I get, everyone has bumps with a new system, but don't lie to me! After completing registration paperwork, I was told to come in the next morning befor school to get my son put into the system. I was told the day before that someone would be here by 7:15. I arrived at 7:30 and no one was available. I asked how long it would take because my son still needed to eat and was told that it shouldn't take to long. Twenty minutes later the registrar arrived and I asked her how long the process would take because my son still needed to eat breakfast. She said that he could have gone while we were waiting for her, it would have been nice to have had the first person explain that to me. When I started talking to the registrar, they couldn't find the paperwork that I had just done the day before, after another 20 minutes it was finally found. While she entered all of the information my son and I were escorted to the cafeteria so he could eat. I have to say that I am impressed with the food at the school and coming from a state where only low income receive free food it is great to see all students receiving it. The cafeteria staff was extremely helpful and polite and I haven't met any of the teaches yet. If things go well when I do I will reevaluate my review but until then, I have to say, if you can take your child somewhere else, please do so. (I didn't have a choice) I do like to always leave on a positive note, so with that, I want to say thank you to Ms. Pardon for all of her help! She is absolutely amazing! She was amazinly helpful, upbeat, and organized. My time spent with her was very productive. If you need anything in the front ask for her!
