However with all the info and also seeing how well the gym was put together (cleanliness, music and machines) I didn't see why I had to go home to just comeback and sign up. I was a bit nervous about the machines (different from other gyms) but the owner assured me there is someone here always to help explain and assist. I received a tour and if you like your space at a gym and need a good vibe to workout, THIS IS YOUR PLACE! Also a plus the restrooms are very clean! I will post a update in a month or so. But I'm sure with the vibe I got I will only have good things to say. PS... there are no hidden fees! It has a fit family feel, which sometimes just isn't there in the bigger corporate gyms. This isn't just a competitor's gun, either. I've seen all types of folks in this gym, too. Housewives, executives, high school athletes - everyone is welcome here! The feeling is upbeat and happy, even when you're grinding away at your workout. Cost is affordable, too. The other snap fitnesses in the area did not have a free weighted bench press. This one did! Third times the charm, right? They have everything I need. Very open space so it doesn't feel too crowded. Great location too! Most gyms are cold, so I usually bring a hoodie, 1 to sweat and 2 to keep my muscles warm. Here, it was perfect. I was able to take my hoodie off without freezing to death. This location will be seeing me for the next 4 weeks while I stay in Dallas.

From my personal experience, I did not like coming during staffed hours because the owners would let their small children run around the gym, which I thought was distracting and unsafe. I ended up moving away from this area and unfortunately had a terrible experience with the staff when trying to cancel my membership. I was given false information from one of their employees, and Tommy (the owner) was not willing take any responsibility for it on his employee's behalf. Instead, I ended up being charged over $60 in membership dues that I should not have been responsible for. Not a very honorable way to run a business. I also contacted the Snap corporate office and didn't recieve so much as an apology. I will not be returning to this gym or any of its franchises in the future.

Jasmine was the instructor, she was unengaged (she asks you for your goals and music selection and never reads) and rude the camp is run like high school track practice. It's a 5:30 am start that is great if you have a busy work day ahead of you but not so great when you are singled out when you arrive late etc... vs. creating a positive do what you can environment and making everyone feel welcome and having fun with struggles. The atmosphere is much better and you can tell people take their workout seriously. It is smaller and there's some equipment I miss, but overall its a better gym. Staff seems friendly and I see them clean quite a bit. Don't really ever have to wait for a rack as they have 2 platform half racks and another one in a different area that has a landmine. The machines I've used feel pretty smooth and I notice pretty much everyone wipes them down when they're done. They have 3 bench press stations that are pretty sweet! You can change the angle in increments of 5% on decline and incline. Something I also really like is they have a nice standing and seated calf machine. Also a pretty good variety of attachments for the pulley machines. Wish they had heavier dumbbells though, as I can't do DB rows with straps anymore unless I wanna do like 40+ reps. I know that sounds crazy, but when you strap up you'd be surprised how much you're limiting your back gainz yo. But they have a landmine where you can load the weight up and do the same type of row. Oh and if you know what a glute ham raise is they have it! I love that thing and have been using it twice a week and am still getting stronger at it. They have a cool turf area in the back where you can do a variety of things, but unfortunately all it can take is 1 person in the area and you can no longer drag the sled/tire around or do farmer walks which are things I really like to do. Also, I honestly feel kind of bad when I do it because I feel like I'm hogging the area. If there was just a little more square feet it would be absolutely perfect. The only really legit complaint I have is the water temperature is not consistent in the showers(its usually cold or lukewarm). If that could be fixed that would be great. Cold water is fine now, but its pretty miserable once you get to the winter time. Even with a few things I don't like I highly recommend this gym and think that you will really like it too!

They also offer group classes and functional training areas, which is a nice plus. The pool area could definitely use some improvement -- adding lights in the water would make it feel much more welcoming. At the moment it's quite dark and has a slightly uninviting vibe. Some equipment and certain areas of the gym also feel a bit outdated. The changing rooms are well done and the lockers are quite sleek. Staff are generally friendly and helpful when needed, and parking is convenient with a large lot right outside. Like most LA Fitness locations, it can get busy during peak hours (early mornings and after 4:30 pm), especially around popular machines.

Anyway then I couldn't get back on app even though I save my password to Google password manager. So I call to get a code as instructed. Guy gave me over phone but no pen so I don't write it down say I'll call again. Second time I get a song and dance about well next time you come in. A LOT of the equipment has holes that has been patched up with tape, quite a few of the machines stick, and everything is so gray and cold in the facility that it doesn't make you wanna stick around. For what they offer, the price is also more costly than other gyms in the area.
