Maybe it was just the cart we had, but it definitely struggled the entire time. Additionally, every single green is mostly sand and way too fast. I wouldn't come here often, but I would come here again. Every hole after 2 has water- which isn't a problem- but when the water smells like poop... that's a problem. There was more than once that I was trying to play a ball and the guy riding around monitoring everyone would tell me to pick it up and move it because I was too close to the water and they have cotton mouths. I understand the safety, but there was also a time when I wasn't that close. Really he just kept throwing off our play. Lots of work to be done here imo. read more

My second time coming here and despite the rating I'll be back. It's a 9 hole par 3 course that is good for walking the course or riding. The greens aren't very good, we joked and said it's the sandy green cause sand traps are there too. Overall though a good spot to get out of the house and play a quick round and work on those short irons and wedges read more

Pretty decent layout to work on your irons. The good mix of different types of holes keeps it fun and interesting. The golf carts are in good shape and are quick! The conditions are just okay. The greens are completely lost as of this writing (June 2025). Not the worst thing as I mostly use the course to work on the irons and not putting, but it's also not the cheapest 9 hole par 3 course so wish the conditions were a little better. I'd still recommend if you want to get in a quick practice nine-hole session, but might be better off just hitting the range. read more

This place is, unfortunately, a disappointment. Charging $18 for a large bucket is excessive, especially given the condition of the range balls. I live less than half a mile away, yet after my experience here I'd gladly drive 20+ minutes to another range just to avoid coming back. The practice putting green is in rough shape as well. It looked more like a battlefield than a green. The ball kept bouncing around like Plinko. I looked a little closer and I noticed the surface was crawling with ants, which made practice impossible. I ended up just picking up my ball and heading home. And yes, I'll say it again: $18 for a large bucket. Whoever set that price point might want to reconsider, because it feels like taking advantage of golfers. To top it off, the facility had a strong sewage odor. That may not be entirely their fault, but it certainly didn't help the experience. read more

Texas 9 is a 9 hole executive course. It has one Par 4. It has a great practice facility with a lit range, putting green, chipping green and bunker practice area. The proshop staff is very friendly and helpful. This is a great course for beginners and advanced golfers. There is water on every hole except 1 and 2. Love this place for a quick round and some practice. They also have an event center if you want to book a bachelor party with some golf! read more

What went well I'm very pleased with the progress they have made at this course. The greens are in really good shape and they continue to invest money to make the course better on all aspects and you can tell. The training area with the chipping and putting area is coming along very nicely. It's large and lit in the evenings so you can train at night and that is wonderful during daylight savings time. Overall, enjoyed my rounds at the course and the staff has been super energetic and helpful. It's a great place to get your practice going and recommend becoming a member and enjoying the course and all it has to offer. read more

Paid just over 75$ to play 9 holes. Wouldn't have been a problem for 18 holes but I was charged more to use a cart than play. 40$ to use the cart and 30$ in green fees. There was 2 of us playing in 1 cart. read more

Won't be back. Course was "ok." Greens were like putting on a bumpy road. Fun layout though and a few longer par 3s along with a short par 4. Quite a few hazardous shots with greens/tee boxes in close proximity. Service lacked big time. Asked the pro shop attendant how long the holes were to try and filter down my bag, and he got defensive talking about how it's "not an easy course." Not my intent at all. Left a club - an old hickory shafted putter that my dad had given to my daughter, and while I knew exactly where we left it I got a "well let you know if we find it." Even went back to get it, and the girl basically told me, "yea, I checked a few spots but I'll let you know if it's found." Wouldn't let me go track down the cart it was in, and now it's lost. Overall - I'd play it for $20-25. $40 for 9 is too steep, especially given the greens. Receptive but again, not true rolling. Go to Waterchase. Played it in under an hr. No water or Bev cart on the course so make sure you bring drinks! read more

Great addition to the Texas 9 golf course and driving. The just installed beautiful yard markers for the driving range. They have done so many improvements to the course and practice areas. If you haven't tried Texas9 I suggest you give them a try. You won't be disappointed. read more

I'm an avid amature golfer from the East coast and recently move to TX. I've been coming to the Texas9 driving range since Dec 2023 so that my son and his friend who lives out in Ft. Worth could practice together. It's an ideal Par 3 halfway meeting point for us. The boys are now part of the First Tee program at Texas9. I noticed that they finally put up yardage markers on the driving range which is a plus. Great as a target for accuracy. We haven't yet tried the course, but with all the positive reviews, we're looking to try it out in April 2024. I wish their online scorecard had yardage distance printed on it. Looks like a physical scorecard is still needed until they update that online downloadable scorecard. read more

I can't say enough great things about Texas Golf Center! I make the drive from Keller pretty often to play this par 3 and the drive is worth it. I just finished hoofing it for the first time and it set me back the price of a beer. The food and drinks are also very affordable. The staff (Josh, Journey and Genet) all know me by my first name. They have an added amenity Yoga. I would have to say these are the best yoga classes I have attended. The instructor Maddie is very Genuine and Confident. She is a real ray of sunshine. She is always updating her self practice and study yoga and meditation. Her preparation, organization and listening skills help when her students need to modify moves. She adapts and offers flexibility making me feel empowered. I have more balance, strength and flexibility. I do believe it will help make me a better golfer. read more
