Visited this restaurant back in March. I was with a fairly large group. The service was awesome. We…read morewere seated quickly (as per our reservation) and the server was very attentive. I stuck to the late night happy hour menu and ordered the Frito pie. It was REALLY good. The portion was smaller than I expected, so I'd definitely order two next time. I nibbled on my wife's shrimp fajita and it was delicious. The drinks were very nice. I ordered the spicy margarita and it was delicious. The ambiance is warm and cozy. It's not a large space, but I did not feel cramped. There is an outdoor heated seating area as well.

However, the waitress was excellent with providing order recommendations and ensuring that we were taken care of. Drinks: I ordered the ranch water which wasn't anything spectacular. Just a simple non-sugary drink to enjoy while dining. I opted out of the fajitas but the rest of my party loved the steak and shrimp fajitas, which were part of the fajitas 2 deal. Plenty to share and I heard that the steak was cooked to perfection and the shrimp was seasoned well. I ordered the taco salad and that dish was PHENOMENAL! There is something to be said about a wet salad which manages to hold some crunchy texture to the taco strips. Also, it was perfectly chopped and all ingredients were mixed together so well. To complete the dish, I ordered a side of rice and chicken. Both were delicious but the chicken portion could use some work. Overall I'm curious to try their breakfast tacos so count me in on returning! They also offer a great happy hour so I recommend stopping by to enjoy their bar or even their cute outdoor seating.

I got the 956 with cheesy scrambled eggs, bacon, fried potatoes, refried beans, queso drizzle, cilantro garnish and the 512 with cheesy scrambled eggs, 2Fifty Texas BBQ chopped brisket, queso drizzle, side of pico de gallo. I think these 2 are the best on my opinion because all the fillings go so well together and mega flavorful. I went on a Friday morning around 8:30am and the line wasn't too long, but prepared to wait on a Saturday or Sunday because everyone also got the same idea lol. Service is awesome everyone was really nice :) order came out fast too!

Took me about 30 minute to get a spot on a residential street. Line was slightly out the door but line moved fast. Got the 7 tacos (2x956, 2xLa Choripapa, 1xSuper Migas, 1xSuper Duper Migas, 1x512) and 2 dirty horchata. Came out in about 5 minutes. Not much indoor seating but I believe they had an upstairs section too. Tacos lived up to the hype. Pretty good size tacos with the right amount of filling. Tortillas were perfect. Salsas were good, especially that cilantro crema. Despite the tough parking situation I would definitely come back.

I got the nachos, my husband got tacos, and we got a chicken quesadilla for our toddler. The nachos were PILED with toppings and so colorful - even in a take out container is looked beautiful. They were SO tasty, very full of flavor and spice. My husband said the tacos were delicious and our toddler actually ate a lot of the quesadilla. Win all around. Highly recommend!

Fair sized joint with a smallish patio out front. Having perused the menu on the way, I was looking to try something just beyond "staple of cheap Mexican." Sadly, we were presented with brunch menus, so it was a breakfast burrito for me and the breakfast tacos for her. I was remarkably hungry, so the burrito was eaten (and quickly). But truth be told, it's standard Mexican fare made with breakfast ingredients. No more description necessary - you've had this before and you'll have it again. The service was marginally lackluster- if you're not in a big party, you might get shuffled down in prioritization (or at least I thought we were...once ready to leave I did the 'fidget with credit card' trick to get the staff to close us out. It took frustratingly long. All in all, if I lived in the neighborhood, this would be my cheap Mexican place and more out of convenience than culinary merit.
