honestly, just pick a different doctor they dont even know how to run it. my baby was supposed to get a doctors visit and they scheduled a "nurse visit" so when I went in they had said they forgot to call a day prior to cancel and gave me another test to take home which I had already took 3 times ! And needed to see a doctor at that point !!! All they said was "we'll get with your doctor and see" a week later I'm about to call and make the appointment myself because i bet they FORGOT read more

The people here are also so nice. They were so friendly with my daughter and I. It was a pleasant visit even though the news wasn't great they had a great way of presenting it. I would suggest this location and Texas Children to everyone that has children. read more

The doctors and nurses here are the best, the receptionist is the absolute worst I've ever dealt with. Everyone has a bad day but this has happened more than once, guilt shaming a parent trying to make an appointment for their child Is completely unacceptable. read more

We've only had mostly positive experiences here for both of our kids. We haven't experienced major wait times. Dr. Chavez is great, and we're always able to see another practitioner for sick visits if she is unavailable. Other than that, however, I took off a couple stars for the following reasons: There was a time when one of Dr. Wilber's nurses asked for my identification while taking my child's medical history. I get that she didn't know me even though we've been coming to this practice for years, but it just seemed odd since it's not like I ask to inspect her nurse's license before treating my child. This has left a lasting negative impression, but it was the only unprofessional encounter we've had here and it hasn't occurred again. Also, if you use Texas Children's Hospital that the insurance verification does not sync between the hospital's system and the pediatric clinic systems. This is annoying that you have to do insurance verification in two places despite the fact that they share EHR systems. read more

As a new lol, I was so scared of selecting a pediatrician as I've not had the best experience with doctors. Dr. Harvey is amazing! She addresses all my concerns and is so insanely kind! The clinic is very organized and I never have a long wait. They use the My Chart app which makes scheduling and over visit summaries so easy to maneuver. Overall, I have a 10/10. read more

We see DR. Brown, she's a sweet amazing Doctor she's been my child's doctor since birth, the nurses are equally amazing. But the front desk literally are the worst!! They are so rude!! They never answer the phones, I can wait for 30 min to an hour for an appointment. Once they answer they are short and rude with you. I try to leave messages for my child's nurse which never gets to them. Smh this office has a serious problem with there front staff. Cynthia use to be the lady answering the phones, she was so kind and patient. Don't know what happened to her but they ladies they have now are awful! Hate to leave this clinic but I literally can't take the the front desk staff. So disappointing!!! read more

We like our Doctor very much but the wait is ALWAYS so long! They shouldn't make a so tight schedule. It's bad to feel that the Doctor is in hurry. Which totally upsets me is that I asked about the wait before paying and coming in and they said 10 min. I'm here for one hour and 10 minutes! 1:10! read more

Let me start by saying that I have never had an issue with my children's doctor Dr. Anderson or her nurse staff. But this place needs to be evaluated. It's ridiculous how horrible the staff is at this clinic. I have been trying to schedule my son an appointment with her for over a year now. Each time it is an excuse (and no I've never had an incident with them. My daughter is a patient there as well). First I was told they couldn't find him in their system. I had to call other Texas Children's facilities before this location finally admitted that they have his information. Then I was told his insurance was not active. I called his insurance company to verify that he was covered. I called this location back and I was told that the insurance company had to call them and tell them that he was active (never had a problem like this before either). So I called the insurance back. The insurance company explained to me that was incorrect and it is their responsibility to call in for verification. My son's appointment was denied until insurance could be verified per the scheduling staff. I called back in May (they never called me back about the insurance incident by the way) and explained my son is having migraines at 11 and how soon could I get an appointment. I was told the next appointment wasn't until October. I ended up taking him to urgent care. I tried to get a follow up appointment and was told to follow up with the doctor that treated him at urgent care (makes no sense). I tried once more for an appointment today July 24th and was told they do not have an available appointment until September. I requested to speak with a supervisor. I was transferred to Lettie in billing who was extremely rude. After explaining every event, I stated that I did not understand why my son is being denied to see Dr. Anderson. She stated "we aren't denying him, you just won't accept an appointment 3 to 4 months out." I asked her, "considering the circumstances, would you?" She was unprofessional and very unhelpful. Sadly I am looking for another physician even though the doctor is not the problem. I would NEVER refer this place. Also I had my coworker call to attempt to schedule an appointment. She was told she could bring her daughter (a new patient) in August. I will report this place until changes are made. Don't waste your time here unless your child will never need to see a doctor. Sounds like medical negligence to me. read more

I cannot imagine a Pediatrics office that offers flu vaccine only from 9 to 11 am on school days, that too in a critical year like 2020. Instead of making it an environment where flu vaccines are encouraged for children, they actually make it harder. Not to mention that when I called for an appointment for a flu vaccine, I was given a date a month from now!!! read more

Have wasted hours of my life waiting at Texas Children's Pediatrics Pearland (more than 1 hour per average appointment). I brought my son in for his Well Child visit and was astounded to find that they had billed the insurance for both a well child visit and sick child visit for the SAME 5 minutes Dr. Anderson spent with my child. They did nothing for his fever he had that day and we told the office we didn't want to treat it, he was there for a well child visit. When complaining to the office they had NO documentation that Dr. Anderson did anything above and beyond a normal office visit. I asked to be transferred to the Office Manager - and was instead transferred to a recording stating the office is closed. This office FRAUDULENTLY bills patients after making them wait hours for appointments for unfriendly, rushed physicians. Save yourself the time, headache and money and take your children elsewhere - I certainly will be doing so in the future. read more

This is the best pediatricians office in all of Pearland and would highly recommend to any new parents. Dr Talbot is thorough and very caring. He will educate you on your child's health and inform you with his knowledge of pediatrics. My son had seen dr Talbot since birth but had to switch after 5+ years because of insurance purposes. read more

It really saddens me to have to write this review. All three of my kids have seen Texas Children's Pediatric physicians since birth. I love all the doctors I have seen. We used to go to the Friendswood office, but our pediatrician left the practice, prompting us to move to the Pearland location. While the doctors we have seen at TCP Pearland have been amazing, after the experience I had with the front desk staff this morning, I will be hard pressed to ever return there. I really thought more of Texas Children's. It is unfortunate that the staff's rudeness and lack of professionalism, compassion and communication skills serve as a deterrent from seeking care from such top-notch physicians. Texas Children's needs to do a better job training their employees. read more

I have nothing but excellent things to say about this office and all of the doctors there! We've been going for 3 years with 2 children and have always had a positive experience. They are busy at times, but the nurses have always worked to get us in when my child needs to be seen. We typically see Dr. Wilber who is amazing, listens, and I never feel rushed... And when he's not been available, we've seen all of the other doctors here at least once-- all great! No complaints! Thanks for taking care of my little loves :) read more

Dr Anderson has been our Primary pediatrician for over 5 years now. She, the doctors and the nurses are wonderful. But the front desk staff needs to go. It's like going to eat at a restaurant with Vic and Anthony's food but McDonalds service up front. Trying to call and make an appointment there results in monumental frustration. I've driven up there loading 3 kids in the car and walked in to get service faster than I could get thru on the line before because they don't answer the phone. And when they do, evidently you should feel grateful they deemed you worthy of their time. They turn the line off early or forget to turn it on when they get in there. I just spent over 30 minutes on hold. I called at 10:17. They close at 11...I arrived in the lot at 11:03 to an empty parking lot, closed building...and me still sitting there on hold. While inrealize at 11:03 they were technically supposed to be closed - it's absurd that in over 30 minutes they couldn't answer the phone. PSA front desk staff: A 30 minute wait for someone to answer isn't a brief delay. The wait time for the doctor is long, but I usually don't mind that as much as I do the inability to get basic questions answered or schedule appointments. Poor management needs to be addressed in the front. read more

I understand the importance of making appointments and the hardship missing one has on the doctors and other patients, but i missed one appointment, tried to schedule an appointment for my child who was running fever, and was told because i missed the one appointment they wouldn't see my child. Seriously! I mentioned that was HARSH and the receptionist said yes sir that is harsh but that's our policy. Kid with fever and i can't get in. I hope the people that work at this place don't ever have to deal with an inconsiderate health care facility such as this one. read more

Amazing office! They have always been friendly, and very informative. Always have gotten my daughter in when she needed to be seen.

After going to a pediatrician's office for over 12 years with 3 kids, you'd expect that they would work with you to get you an appointment when you really need one. Not in this case. My just turned 12 year old daughter got a note in the mail from the school district saying it was our FINAL NOTICE for getting a couple of booster shots and that she would not be able to attend school in the fall without them. This was the first we'd heard of it-we'd skipped her 11year old well visit appointment because-well, she'd been well! And because her previous well visit to Dr. Wilber left her and me feeling very uncomfortable. Another story... (Dr Wilber wanted to look down her pants to see if she had started growing pubic hair, and of course, my shy daughter freaked out and wouldn't let him! He looked at me and wanted me to force her to let him, but I was going to do no such thing. Very awkward considering I had already told him she hadn't started puberty yet.) So I called the office a month and a half BEFORE school is scheduled to start, and the rude lady who answers says not only that dr Wilber does not have an appt before school starts, but that I'll be forced to see dr. Wilber and not another doctor since My daughter missed her 11yr old well visit and it had been SO LONG since we had come in. I was mad at this point, because, 1. They're not willing to work with me to get her these shots before school and 2. Because as the mother, I should have the right to say who'd I like for my daughter to see. Basically this woman on the phone was snotty, rude, and said I "could talk to a nurse about the situation if I wanted to." I told her if their office could not make room for a required immunization in a month and a half's time, I would be finding another pediatrician's office. And I did. And THAT pediatrician's office, Pearland Pediatrics was VERY friendly and accommodating, and scheduled my oldest and my youngest (she will be due for her 4 yr shots at that point) on the same day, before school starts, same time for my convenience. Texas children's pediatrics of Pearland has gotten too big for their britches and the Drs are nothing to write home about!! read more
