I decided on a couple of semi precious stone slabs for a large island. Their prices are excellent...best I have found anywhere! No matter where you are in the DFW metroplex it is worth the trip. I took many pictures of the counter top that I picked. I was assired that the piece I was viewing would be my island piece. There was lime green swirl granite on my island piece. Even though I found places with a larger assortment of marble slabs, I went with TCF because the salesperson claimed the process would be 1-2 weeks. She came out to personally measure and we literally gave them the sink so that they would have the exact measurements. When the installers arrived, the piece that you see first when you walk into the kitchen had been cut a foot too long therefore hanging over the end bookcase by a foot looking ridiculous. And even worse, THE CUT-OUT FOR THE SINK WAS TOO BIG!!! How on earth does that happen when they were given the sink to avoid this very mistake?!? So, now we're waiting on them to find us another sink that will fit the hole they cut and finish the job. Meanwhile, I'm still without a kitchen! They weren't even apologetic when the installers called the main office and put me on the phone with them. In fact, she spoke down to me and acted like I just had to accept what she was repeatedly saying which was to allow the installers to remove the sink area slab and see if they could find another slab "with a color that is close enough" to replace it with. Uh... NO! She said if they couldn't, the sales person would be in touch so I could start all over again searching for another slab (they didn't have any more of this slab). It was my contractor's solution for them to find a sink that could fit the hole instead. Duh! I really shouldn't finish this review until the job is done, but who knows when that will be! read more

We did not have a good experience with TCF. I cannot speak for all sales reps, but ours was unprofessional and distracted. Ultimately the wrong countertop was installed. When we showed pictures and documents proving the mistake, we were told several times that we were wrong. The problem for them was that the difference between what we chose and what was installed was literally black and white so eventually they had to agree that they had made a mistake. We tried speaking to a manager several times and no manager ever called back. Even after they realized their mistake, a manager never called, emailed, or apologized. Fortunately, we had scheduled our project in 2 phases. If they had made efforts to make up for the mistake and keep our business maybe we would have continued with them for our phase 2 project, but instead, we had to continue to follow up until the mistake was fixed. We canceled phase 2 and switched to a different company. Unfortunately, I will not be able to recommend TCF to anyone after this experience. read more

My wife and I bought nearly 90 square feet of granite plus two bathroom vanity tops from Texas Counter Fitters. Our salesperson, Lisa Price, made the whole process as painless as possible. She is very knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and thorough. We looked through the granite on display at their office, then, not finding quite what we wanted, went to the yard and looked through a huge assortment of slabs. We found something we loved, and were pleasantly surprised by the low price. After making a detailed template from the cabinets in our house, the granite and marble (for the bathroom) was ready in a week. The installers were very skilled, and the installation was virtually perfect. There was an issue with the cutout for our sink, but they dealt with it very quickly and totally to our satisfaction.
