Once we agreed to use their services I was immediately called by Sam for laser measurements. Sam came on 6/18. On 6/21 was contacted and told that they could install on 6/26 however we were not available so install was scheduled for 6/30. Was emailed days before install with exact instructions on preparing for the install. The day of the install received notification that Jesse and his team were on their way. Install was so easy. Jesse and his crew were extremely respectful and polite and cleaned up everything before leaving. When I came down to look at where the seam on the countertop was I very pleased that there was not a seam especially since we were told they would have to put a seam. Love my countertops. The entire process was so easy. Every person involved is extremely professional and did exactly what they said they would do. They arrived on time each time. In addition, Greg provided recommendation for tile and they too were very professional and prompt. Most importantly I felt safe and comfortable with everyone involved. All workers wore masks as well.

Tom Solano runs the family-owned business and takes care of all the measurements. He measured our cabinets on Monday afternoon about 4 pm. The installation took place the following afternoon. Tom showed up with his two sons for the installation. It was completed within an hour. Tom stayed after the installation to show me how to seal the granite. I must say they do an amazing job! Installation job shoddy in places with carpet not tight to the ground in a few corners and on a few stairs stairs. At least one more technical, high visibility corner on the stairs was mediocrely done. They also put a small scratch on hardwood next to the carpeted area and put marks on baseboards *everywhere*. Amber then lied and claimed there were "several" attempts to repair my fence. There were two attempts- one of which the roof was being repaired and it was too hazardous of an environment to come and the 2nd attempt they showed up with the wrong materials. They only call around 3:30pm and ask if they can come at that time- no advance notice. The repairman that was sent with the wrong materials the 2nd time was really kind and told me that he brought it up for weeks and the office staff kept sending him to other jobs. This is important for those considering Superior Fence: Amber then said that Superior Fence does not make repairs DURING the warranty period rather, they only make repairs at the END of the warranty period all at once. In other words, I- or you- will have to wait 12 months or however long your negotiated warranty period is to have any covered repairs completed. These unique terms are not on the contract and never shared with me until over a month after I brought my concerns to their attention. Only upon elevating my concerns due to the lack of response did Amber share this. Have you ever heard of a company that will not provide service until your warranty expires? I am stuck with a cedar fence that warps due to the sun and it will continue to happen for the life of the fence. Roger advised me that cedar is most durable and suitable for the TX heat. I paid a premium for this type of material. I don't know what they did to my fence and I have been asking for the owner to contact me and offer me assurance that the company will handle my concerns- yet to no avail. Stay away from Superior Fence Co!

Short version: Overpriced with poor communication…read more Long version: I had a couple quotes for a fence from different companies. One was a small local contractor who was a couple thousand cheaper but I have spent the last year working with a very small contractor on my home renovation, and it's been frustrating so I decided to go with a bigger name even though it cost more. The fence itself would be fine except, on the one side that is most visible to the road it comes to a point in the middle and has 2 short panels which is different then the rest of the fence. They started installing post at both ends and met in the middle. I questioned the crew who were very nice, but could speak very limited English in the middle of the second day why there was two post only two feet away in the middle of the fence line, but he just said that's how it worked out. He did move it to be centered so instead of a 6 foot/2 foot panel it's now a 4ft/4ft. Aesthetically it looks ok now. If he had put a 2 foot panel in it would have looked terrible. Either way, this review would have been different if I felt communication from the agent (Steve) was better. First off, he told me they had plenty of stock in the product I choose. I sign the contract and pay half. No communication as promised the next week. I leave a message and the following week he calls back. He says the product I ordered is now out of stock because a big company bought it all and it would be 2 months unless I wanted to upgrade. It was only $350 more and I wanted to get it done so I went with it. Then during the job I called with concerns that the 2 posts were 2 feet apart in the middle of the fence. His reply is that he will come the next morning but there's really nothing can be done since the post were already in the ground. First I think that's an unacceptable answer especially considering the rails weren't attached, etc. The crew end up working late that night. I tried calling again and it went to his VM. The crew then shows up early the next morning and finishes it. I see his vehicle at the edge of my property after they finish. I thought he had come to talk to me but he didn't knock, call, text, etc and I probably wouldn't have made it to his car before he left. Either way he clearly didn't feel the need to contact me despite me calling twice with concerns.

The quotes that we had been getting were high and we were advised to do both bathrooms as they shared the wall likely to have the most damage, after saving for months and selling our 2nd car we finally had the money to start the project. A&A was quick to respond, and promising to finish the job in about 2 weeks. Quick to collect the 60% down to start the process (Permits- which we later found he never got) and willing to refinance the rest. So excited about finally addressing the issue. BUT, although he is lic. contractor, his Plumber Mike is not despite him saying he was and he uses him all the time, nor the electrician. As for his Insurance, not worth the call. In effect we paid him 60% ($12K). Which he still has, he stopped the work after we contacted the city (work was poor/shottty) he installed a toilet, and a non-working tub, Reframe-not up to code, wall/tile had to be torn down to install a new working tub w/new plumbing. I would say we paid him 60% for him to do 30% of the work. We in turn went 4 months without a working bathroom. Tile had to be torn down, tub removed, his plumber never connected it, the studs he used to replace the damaged studs were scrap material and didn't even touch the floor/ceiling as required. He did not think we'd find out until the entire non-working tub/walls were gutted and we saw. This guy even went on to request a second check because the first check had not cleared and wanted me to make it out to his wife btw she's the first Review. He came up with so many excuses (can't return to site X1 day of mold removal, can't show up - check hasn't cleared which it had. My MIL fell- I'm in the ER, she cont. sick, she's in the hospital, she's in ICU, she's home but I am her provider. No one else -family- will step up - the excuses were endless. the final one was my neighbors tree fell on our house. So much more to say, he is A+ rated but interestingly only a few of those people rating him had permits to have that work done. 30 years experience - nope. Worked on 100's of projects - nope. It's always a good idea to check them out before hiring them directly with the Plumbers/Contractors/Electricians lic. through Texas dot GOV. If you don't want to get scammed this is where you go. Just need the persons full name to see if they are licensed to provide the work. And Yes, he was fined by the Texas Board. You can also look up his name in your area and see what Permits they've issue to him. Not very much and some remain open as they failed inspection. For those of you who did get work done by him, it's likely he didn't get a Permit. In a few years you'll know why. Hope this helps you.
