After visiting two dealerships in Fort Worth this week, the first dealer told me I owed $9000 more on my 2-year-old car that has 17,000 miles, I shared my Kelly Blue Book estimate and he told me KBB don't write checks, he offered me a payment of $1183/month, of course I left. The next dealership must have thought, "hold my beer and watch this, lol." That dealership offered me a lease price of $1905/ month and bragged because he got the price down $200, so I was going to pay $1700, they told me I was $5,000 upside down. Feeling reluctant, I located the 2026 GMC Denali PU with the exact options that I was seeking. Derek was extremely professional. I told Derek exactly what I was looking for. Within an hour, Derek provided me with a ballpark figure that was exactly the same as the result I came up with on the GM Financial website; I was $500 upside down. After a 1-hour drive to the dealership, it took approximately an hour to complete the paperwork, and a monthly note below $700/mo. Without a doubt they have earned my trust in an industry that is filled with uncertainty in my opinion. When completing the paperwork, I was able to relax, as in my experience the finance manager didn't try to up-sell me on things I didn't want or need.
