This is the one of the worst doctors I have ever been to. Dr. Yalamanchilli. She's very rude and super dismissive. I've come to her for a chronic issue I've been dealing with and instead of helping and being professional, she proceeded to make fun of me and make me uncomfortable. She refuses to do her job and just gives out IBS diagnoses and gives out samples of medicine. No real care towards the patient and I hated every single time I came to this office. Also, didn't want to order any labs or any extra tests even though my lab test before show elevated liver enzymes and tried to say it's because I have a drinking problem when I haven't had any alcohol in two years. I got a phone call from one of the nurses that I needed to do repeat labs. She told me that I could come in Monday through Friday 8:30 AM until 4:00 pm and get my labs done. I took a half day off on Friday morning to get my labs done, I arrived around 9:15 AM and they informed me Yolanda the phlebotomist was out sick. They sent me across the street to quest, diagnostics, a minor inconvenience but I figured oh well. Got to quest diagnostics checked in and they let me know the next appointment they had available was 3:00 PM. I had to get back to work by lunchtime. This time would not work. Dr. Joseph Cano is amazing but due to this, I will be finding another doctors office for my digestive needs. Considering due to my health issues I need an upper endoscopy every two years they've lost out on a lot of money because of this. read more

If I could get negative stars, I would. Our experience with Dr. Yalamanchili was the most unprofessional, rude, dismissive and borderline argumentative doctor I've ever seen. She did not introduce herself upon entering the room, proceeded to say the medical experiences were not possible to have at one time, and gave blatantly false information about medications she prescribed. Today I took my oldest daughter to see Dr. Mona Dave. She's the pediatric gastro in the Plano Presby location. I'm always amazed when I meet a specialist who's actually a people person and explains everything knowing that hers/his patients may not know medicine. Dr. Dave was so attentive, listened to everything my daughter said and explained all the steps in the best way possible. Both my daughter and I were so happy after she left. She made us feel like she will do everything in her power to help my daughter!! We were lucky to find her! If you need a pediatric gastro she's the one to visit! read more

We have relocated to Flower Mound and tried unsuccessfully to schedule a colonoscopy. Previous colonoscopy was with Texas Digestive Disease Consultants (TDDC) in Dallas. Colleague suggested LoneStar Endoscopy in FM who is related to TDDC. Half dozen calls during business hours, no return call or reply. Called TDDC office in Dallas for help. They said Dr. Nunez would first have release my file of 10 years ago. Called TDDC office of Dr Mehta, same story, need approval first. Since when did TDDC have control and monopoly of patients seeking routine colonoscopies. With the lack of patient care and unresponsive by TDDC and its affiliate, I've resorted to trying to seek assistance through primary health provider with BS&W and contacted the Texas Medical Board and Attorney General consumer complaint division. read more

Went here to get a cop of my colonoscopy in 2015 for the VA. The staff was very helpful and faxed a copy to the VA. I had a good experience in 2015 with Dr Owen MD who performed my colonoscopy. He and the Anethetist were both pleasant and made the procedure easy and comfortable!! No complaints read more

Dr. Krieger is very professional, sincere, shows great compassion and has a good sense of humor The office is really still looks new and its always, neat and smells so good. Ladies and Gentlemen: Let me introduce you to the first doctor's office in the history of mankind who has perfected operating on a perfectly timed schedule. In case you are confused, let me go ahead and say that my introduction is dripping with sarcasm. After waiting weeks for my appointment, I had a bad and hectic day at work. I wasn't able to leave in enough time to make it there early. I arrived on time only to enter a rat maze of actually trying to find their office. Since it was right at my appointment time, I called and asked if they had any specifics on where to go in the hospital since their website had zero instructions. I gave my name to the person who answered and she stated she would let the front desk know I was running a bit late. I walked through the door at 5 minutes after and proceeded to wait in line while someone completed their new patient paperwork at the receptionist window. Instead of being efficient and perhaps asking the gentleman if he could take a seat to do that, the receptionist, who I will refer to as Ms. Congeniality, looked at me and sit there while he did so. Finally Ms. Congeniality gave him an iPad 11 minutes later and he stepped aside. With my documents in hand, I greeted her, apologized for being 5 minutes late citing the confusing labyrinth I had to navigate to get there, and asked her if she could check me in. She took my information and scolded me for being late, and stated she would have to check if I could be seen. Returning 2 minutes later, she stated they were unable to see patients who were more than 15 minutes late. It was 16 minutes after the hour. I logically let Ms. Congeniality know I arrive 5 minutes late and wasted 11 minutes in line. Unfettered by logic, she resorted to insisting that patients should have clairvoyance and know to be there 30 minutes prior to their appointment time and the doctor had refused to see me. That was never disclosed to me and was not in any paperwork I completed. She must make up policies to suit the situation. She should receive some points for creativity. So, in my 44 years of life and 100+ medical appointments, I managed to find the doctor who operates precisely on schedule on the one day I was a bit late. To boot, I had the displeasure of dealing with someone who makes DMV employees and the experience there a pleasure. Considering the number of people in the waiting room, I doubt they had even seen the patient who had an appointment an hour ago, but I digress. So, I will absolutely own I was 5 minutes late. But I will state I had completed all paperwork online. I do not think that anyone was sitting around twiddling their fingers with nothing to do because I was a few minutes late. Honestly, I consider my time just as important as anyone else's, but in doctor land, that is laughed at. They act as if you committed a felony if you aren't forced to sit around in a waiting room for a long time. So, if you want to do to a doctor leaving with the feeling that you just had a colonoscopy without being "allowed" to see the doctor, you should absolutely go here. If you feel that you should be treated in a professional manner, I strongly suggest you find another provider. I know I'll be doing that. I just hope that whatever is wrong with me can wait several more weeks because Dr. Cano cannot be inconvenienced by a patient who had a very difficult day and asked for a small favor to be seen, even though he committed the felony of being 5 minutes late. read more

This is the place to go to schedule your colonoscopy. You know you've been putting it off- just go do it! Dr. Holt is very professional and does have a good sense of humor, which is great considering you might be a bit nervous if it's your first time. The office is really new and the staff is courteous, very professional, and discrete. I'm not sure if they perform any major procedures here. Dr. Holt did my exams at Baylor Surgicare in Grapevine. The staff will assist you in dealing with your health insurance company. read more

This is the WORST healthcare establishment I have ever been to. First of all, we made an appointment months in advance and were very flexible to change times for them the day before. My 90 year old grandmother and I were 5 mins late to her appointment and they refused to let us see the Dr. The front office staff was extremely rude and unsympathetic. It took all the strength in my grandmother to make this appointment, and because we were just a few mins late - they turned us away with no feasible solution. I am so disappointed in the staff and doctors at this "well known" establishment. If I could give this review no stars I would. Avoid this clinic, it is the absolute worst. read more

Nice office, but not very good customer service at the front desk. I witnessed the receptionist basically shutting down an older patient, when the guy was telling her that he couldn't get through to them on the phone. They kept telling him that either he was calling the wrong number or he had a bad phone. So I helped the guy out and called their office phone right there in front of the receptionist to prove that they were wrong, at that point they acknowledged that maybe they did have a problem. I felt bad for the older patient as to how they were treating him. Additionally, I had multiple problems getting call backs from the infusion center in Southlake. Now the doctor. I won't mention his name and when I did see him he was fine, but I only saw the actual doctor for less than 5 minutes in a total of 8 visits.No offense to the PA, but if I was sick enough to be put into the hospital for a week, maybe the actual doctor could spend a few more minutes with me. As for their recommended treatment, their infusion center is a racket imo. I had other issues that warranted using alternate medications, but they were adamant that I go with the $5,000 per infusion Remicade. Pretty sure that's an automatic directive there. Not that Remicade wasn't fine for my colon issue, but they should have been willing to consider alternate medications that would treat both of my conditions. Anyplace can schedule a colonoscopy or blood work. In that aspect, the ladies at the Flower Mound office were great. This office is very nice, and for the most part everyone was great, The doctors should try to be a little more involved. read more

Was treated by Dr. James Cox for years until we moved out of area, and he's one of the best in the field. I sure wish we had him here. He not only is one of the more educated and experienced gastroenterologists, but he also treats his patients extremely well. You definitely can't go wrong by making him your choice. read more

I began seeing Dr. Nishant Patel at TDDC Flower Mound in January 2017 for many issues and began treatment lasting several months. While recovering from a major surgery for other health problems this year, I developed separate issues that required me to reach out to Dr. Patel's office again. While under his care, he ordered a CT scan to see why I was developing a lump on my abdomen around the surgical incision area. It showed a hernia, which allowed me to contact the surgeon again to get a second operation. But the CT scan also had abnormal results that concerned Dr. Patel and I had to wait 2 more months after the operation to get a redo CT scan. This time another new concern was in the report and was referred back to surgeon. I am writing this review because I am so appreciative that Dr. Patel took the path of "better to be safe than sorry". I just got good news from both the surgeon and Dr. Patel that all is OK - reassured me no abscess or cancer and improving. I would NOT want to be a patient of any doctor who did not take this approach of being thorough and cautious to check a concern no matter the outcome. I will be forever grateful that he ordered both CT scans; I am blessed to have both a wonderful gastroenterologist and surgeon in Flower Mound who provided me the best care so I could have the outcome I did. This is the healthiest I have been in 5 years. By doing what Dr. Patel did, absolutely, helped to quickly get the second surgery and to speed up my recovery. To take a few minutes to write a patient review is the least I can do to say thank you and I have and will continue to highly recommend Dr. Patel when anyone asks for a gastroenterologist recommendation in our community and I am thankful I am a patient of Dr. Nishant Patel at TDDC Flower Mound. This organization is heavily siloed as there is no communication among the various departments. Their business processes are BROKEN. I have an excellent doctor for over 20 years and ,unfortunately, he uses the Flower Mound TDDC location. This location should replace the employees with BOTS as the employees are programmed to give "canned" responses regardless what the patient asks. To complete a procedure at this location you will endure 7 or more phone calls and emails to pre-pay for procedures, go over health records, go over facility rules/guidelines, confirm appointments and if you ask a question mostly likely the employee will kick the can down the road with a "canned" response of "I do not handle this, you will need to speak with X". I was finally referred to the Charge Nurse, she was a total idiot and was less than professional including accusing me of being rude to her nurse. Unbelievable, TDDC has grown too large and is extremely PATIENT UNFRIENDLY." read more

I was a patient of a doctor in this practice who retired. To that point, things were mostly fine, other than denying my request not to have general anesthesia for a colonoscopy, which the doctor insisted on and which insurance did not cover as not medically necessary. Since my previous gastroenterologist, Dr. Cox, retired, I contacted the office and asked to see Dr. Mehta, who is treating another family member for a similar condition. After providing information to the front desk, I was told that I would be contacted by a nurse if Dr. Mehta would accept me. After providing information the next day to the nurse, she said that she would speak to Dr. Mehta if he would take me. At this point, I felt like I was in interviews to see if my condition was interesting or worthy. The following day I was called and offered appointments with the PA or the Nurse Practitioner. I explained that I had asked specifically for Dr. Mehta, who is treating a family member. I was told that these appointments were for my benefit, since they were available sooner. I asked for Dr. Mehta's availability, which they didn't even have. (How do you make appointments and not know the doctor's schedule???) I accepted an appointment at the moment, which I called back and cancelled. They wanted to reschedule which I declined, explaining that I had requested specifically to see Dr. Mehta, and had instead been shunted off to the Nurse Practitioner. No offer to schedule with Dr. Mehta or address this in any other way, just said ok and cancelled the appointment. Sharing my experience. Maybe yours will be better, but I won't be back. read more

Wish I'd read the reviews here before going with them. As others have stated, TERRIBLE customer service. They have no one on call after hours if you have a problem and need non-emergency help. Even during business hours, you can't get a live person without going through several automated systems, and ultimately end up leaving a message -- unless you're making an appointment; THEN they'll talk to you after a wait, and greet you with their trademark impatience and exasperation. If you actually make an appointment, don't bother showing up on time, because you'll wait at least half an hour. After my procedure, the doctor "forgot" about me and didn't come out to debrief me for a long while, then when he did, confused me with another patient, figured out who I was, gave an unfocused, surface level diagnosis, and smiled and said there was nothing he could do for me. Right from the first phone call I should have known to leave my records in Southlake. Patricia seemed rude and cold. My appointment, 2-3 weeks out from my original call, I arrive 20 minutes before my appointment time, my paperwork was pre-filled out from the other office, I just needed to check it. The girl at the front desk was very pleasant and kind although another patient announced to her that she had pink eye and I watched the patient grab a pen from the cup and use it and put it back - seriously? Forty minutes after my appointment time, I was taken back to a room where I waited another 10-15 minutes for the doctor. I described my concerns and my PCP's concerns and I was told to get 2 medications over the counter and see if those helped. Because looking at my tests from over a year ago and feeling my stomach was all Dr Steephen needed. She must be a miracle doctor. I will not go back. My dr. in Southlake is worth the drive. read more

Received notice to schedule annual colonoscopy from this office. Contacted office, and left two messages with no return call. Then received another letter requesting a call before connecting with someone in the office. Confirmed my insurance was accepted and they were to mail forms to begin the process. Paperwork was received, completed, and mailed, after no follow-up, called the office again and was told paperwork had been received, but schedule for the month was full, they would contact me with the scheduled procedure date when they completed their calendar. Received another letter in the mail, stating I had not responded to their requests, copying my physician. Called the office, to be told, she had called multiple times to home and work (both numbers not included on the new paper work, both numbers no longer work). She then told me they did not use a facility that would take my insurance, and unable to schedule procedure. After waiting and believing everything needed was received and schedule of procedure was in process for two months - I am now starting the process over to schedule procedure. Scheduler was disorganized, and short in her conversations, blaming me as she was leaving messages. The last letter received stated nothing about insurance and unable to schedule. The letter stated I had not contacted them and they still recommend the procedure. Do not understand why it contained nothing about unable to schedule, but it did not. The forms she acknowledged she had received had current cell, current email, and current address, all checked often. read more
