She took my message again and forwarded it to Dr. Neill. She told me he was out of the office until Wednesday but she would follow up with Dr. Neill for me. Dr. Nathan Boyer is outstanding. 5 stars. His office staff however had no follow-through, whatsoever. It should not take a month and 3 phone calls to get an order sent out. The doctor asked for chest CT to be run just shy of a month ago and I can't even schedule it yet. It'll be Lord knows how many weeks before they have an opening. I wouldn't go to this office if you're worried about dying waiting for tests to be run. read more

My teenager plays sports and had a few scary episodes that we wanted to confirm weren't heart related. With all of the stories in the news of teenaged athletes passing suddenly during practices and games, I didn't want to take any chances. We found this clinic through her primary care physician and we scheduled an appointment with Dr. Tucker. Dr. Tucker and his medical affiliates (including the techs) were amazing: 5+ stars all around. Dr. Tucker was personable, professional, thorough and efficient. He provided helpful and insightful information that my daughter could practice on her own at home, but also ordered other tests to rule out any potential underlying issues (which put my mind at ease). When the results came in, everything was thoroughly explained and he took the time to answer any and all questions that we had. I highly recommend Dr. Tucker to anyone needing an excellent cardiologist. I would've gladly given this clinic 5 stars, but the staff at the front desk needs work and some customer service training. One of the staff members that I encountered on our final visit didn't acknowledge me at all; she just told me I had a copay, took my payment and gave the card back-- no "hello," no "please" no "thank you"... no common courtesy. With such a great medical team, it's a shame the faces of the clinic aren't more professional. read more

Dr. Mehta seems very knowledgeable and helpful, he has a comfortable and professional manner about him. The reception and exit staff are polite and helpful. Dr. Nguyen is by far the most caring cardiologist I've ever met. I was having sharp chest pains and he worked me in and had my test ordered and read that same day. His nurse Cynthia even called me that evening and gave me my results. He also takes care of my grandmother and she transferred her care over to Dr. Nguyen when her cardiologist moved to Lakeway. Her former cardiologist had her on Coumadin (warfarin) and going to the lab every week for blood drawings. Dr. Nguyen changed her medication and now she only has to get blood work every 6 months. Her former cardiologist use to always admit her to the hospital when her potassium (k) was low and she would be admitted. Now, Dr. Nguyen and his nurse have her drink a V8 and she's good, with out hospitalization. I have all my family seeing him now for all of our cardio needs. Best Service ever. read more

Dr. Paul Tucker saved my father's life. We have been blessed to date with 8 additional (hopefully many more) years because of Dr. Tucker. The night we met was the worst night of my life. Dr. Tucker didn't hold anything back. He told me the likelihood my father would live through the night was low. However, my father fought back. I have learned good doctors are blunt. For a few years I was very intimidated by Dr. Tucker and could barely talk when we saw him. One day he told me to take a big breath and slow down. After that I never sounded like an idiot in his presence again. We have seen Dr. Tucker every six months for the last eight years. He has had a few PAs in that time. Hence, we now only see Dr. Tucker once a year and the PA the other appointment. His office can run a bit behind but he tries to stay on schedule. Out of all my father's doctors he is not the worst with his schedule. I am beyond grateful for Dr. Tucker. It is a blessing he was in the ER the night we showed up. I thank God a lot for him. These are the people you want to go to if you have heart issues. read more

Dr Tracey has been my doctor for many years and I'm always very pleased with his treatment. He would get 5 stars! This rating is for the front desk scheduling. They have always been very inadequate and very hateful. So sad when you have a great doctor but his office people are so bad! Dr Tracy and I have discussed this and he knows I don't blame him, but it is difficult on him. No wonder he's retiring early! Guess good help is just hard to find anymore. Dr Paul Tucker is as good as it gets. I had a slight allergic reaction to my blood pressure meds (1 internist and another cardiologist) and he was relentless in finding the exact medication that worked for me. Granted, it was work on my end. I kept a log for two weeks on each iteration. He remembers everything and follows up in a consistent, professional manner. In my book, he's aces. The reception/appointment staff leaves something to be desired and I would give them 3.5 stars. The end result, however is very much worth it. read more

He made me feel very uncomfortable about my situation and continued to force his opinion after several obvious signs. Vinh Winh was my cardiologist. I picked him because I work with him. Mind you, he is not an interventionalist, but they do have others within the practice who are if that's something that concerns you. That being said, I especially like seeing DO's instead of MDs because they look at more of a holistic approach to medicine. Great listener and I've seen him do great things with patients. I'm definitely a fan and would reccomend to any one out there. Mind you, there are also several other great MDs if you're looking for traditional cardiologists at this practice as well. MD and DO are both medical doctors, I just prefer DO because they have a more holistic view point. read more

My first contact with Dr Tracey was when I was in ICU at St David's. He ordered some in-depth scans of my heart that I learned a lot from My next two visits were in his office. Although the visits were months a part he was completely up to date on my medications and tests results. After an examination he provided me with his thoughts, ideas and opinions. Everything you should expect from a doctor visit. I left his office in good spirits feeling healthier. I met Dr. Erol Ozdil the weekend of June 6, 2014 in the hospital after I had a heart attack that evening. I didn't previously have a cardiologist, I had not had previous heart issues, and didn't know what to expect. Dr. Ozdil took plenty of time explaining to me what had happened and how they would be able to take care of the problem with a stint. He explained everything very clearly and I felt for sure I was in the rights hands. I saw him again yesterday for a second follow up and my feeling are the same - great doctor - great guy - I trust him totally to do what is best for me and I highly recommend him if you have a that kind of need just hopefully you don't need him. If I could give zero stars I would. I want to let it be known that my family and I are very unpleased with Dr. Levy's professional opinions. If it wasn't for my father's knowing himself and being conscious of his own health he might not be with us today! My father had been seeing Dr. Levy for awhile and had been complaining about chest pains and other symptoms. Dr. Levy's would just send him away and tell him to go see his pulmonary doctor. The very last visit my father had with Dr. Levy's, he told him to come back and see him in 6 months. My father then went and located another cardiologist. With in a week of seeing the new doctor my father was having a triple bi-pass. There was a test that the new doctor administered and found 90% blockage in a major artery and 100% blockage in another. The heart surgery was an immediate rush procedure. At any moment my father could have had a major heart attack that he would not have been able to recover from. This is unacceptable from any cardiologist professional and Dr. Levy should be ashamed of his practice. Obviously he is not a thorough physician, Atleast in my father's case. On top of that, without Dr. Levy or his office knowing my dad was in the ICU, we received a bill from his office for transferring my father's records. What insult! I hope no one has to go through what my family family and I had to go through due to neglect. Don't let this be you! Find another Cardiologist! read more

Dr Tucker gets 5 stars but the practice receptionist needs people skills and 2 stars is pushing it. Called to inform, like we have for the past 15 plus years, that my mother n law was admitted to the hospital. She refused to put me through to his nurse to simply leave a message of what is going on. She told me to have hospital contact them. I explained Dr Tucker always told us to call his office directly to let him know over the years and that I am listed for medical. She then popped off with "I am not giving you medical advise and I am not transferring you" when I said "I guess he doesn't want to know any more then". Very very disappointed in this employees response, tone and the way she handled me. Dr. Tucker and his office has always made us feel as family over the years. I have tried scheduling an appointment with this group for two days and have gotten nowhere. I not only called and left messages for a new patient appointment , but went online and made an appointment. I have called the office and left a message twice because I could not get a person to talk to. I have come to the decision that some of the staff in this office are either too busy or too disorganized. I feel sure that the physicians are good at what they do and that they are not aware of the inefficiency of some of their staff, but my concerns about my health are important to me, if not to some of the staff in their office. read more

I don't usually write reviews but my experience with Dr. Levy's Marble Falls office staff needed to be shared. I had an appointment for March 29th at 9:30, but a few days prior his office called to see if I could re-schedule to a later date and time, I agreed-ed and this was not the first time they asked if I could re-schedule one of my appointments. I showed up early like normal, as I was checking in I could see what appeared to be two pharmaceutical reps talking and caring on with Dr. Levy's support and front office staff while munching on Chic-fil-a. (Probably the reps brought) The Marble Falls office is small, you can see and hear a lot. The waiting area had quite a few patients waiting. After waiting 45 minutes I went up to the check-in window to ask how much longer, as I am standing there the reps are still there having a good time with the office staff. I told the gal that I went out of my way to re-scheduled per there request, her response was "might be another 15 minutes". I did not have another 15 minutes, I requested that someone needed to call me and I left. Jessica Malcolm (Austin office manager) called me later that day, I told her what had happened and what I saw and that I didn't appreciate having to wait that long especially re-scheduling to accommodate them. Jessica re-scheduled me for April 26, 2018 at 9:45am, I arrived a little early like normal. The gentleman checking in ahead of me stated he had a 10:00 appointment. This time the waiting area was thin, before the gal could finish checking me in they call the gentleman with the 10:00 appointment back. Meanwhile as I am waiting a few other folks come in and check in and they are all called to the back. I had enough, went up to the window and asked why are all of these other patients that one I know had later appointment being called back and the others that arrived way after I did, The poor gal had the deer in the head light look but another gal sitting in there says" They Had Appointments", I replied "What Did I Have?". After that neither one of them had anything to say. I requested that Jessica give me call and walked out. I couldn't wait for Jessica to call me, I called her, told her again about my disappointing experience. While we were on the phone, she is looking in there system and says that I was roomed 15 minutes after checking in, I assured Jessica that I never left the waiting area. It is very obvious that the office staff is dishonest trying to make them look like they are doing a great job by lying to there system. The office staff are rude and incompetent and I bet that I am not the first or last person to be treated like a second class citizen. Dr. Levy is a great doctor and have appreciated all he has done for me through out the years. Hope HCA / St. Davids can under stand why it is necessary for me to find a new doc. I believe I need to communicate with HCA next. The Marble Falls location is failing on providing patient care. read more

I am a new patient and the experience with staff leaves much to be desired. After making an appointment I was called four times to question whether I had made an appointment. Each person was different. No one seemed to know what was going on. Not exactly the experience I expect from a cardiology practice. After my first visit I was billed for services I did not receive.
