With Skylights Too! My experience with Texas Outdoor Oasis was very good! I knew I wanted to have a cover over the patio in my backyard but I was not sure how to start, so I went to the Internet and started looking up companies... I found quite a few and called several of them to come and give estimates. The quotes I received back we're all over the board, some very low some incredibly high. I was working under a fairly tight budget and was afraid that those who bid low would come back with increased costs and change orders and those that were high would probably come with compromises that I did not want to make. So, I decided to change my tactics and I spent more time looking at the designs of the patio covers that each of the companies could create. After much searching I realized that a company that kept showing up and all of my searches was Texas Outdoor Oasis. I contacted them and we met for a quote, an evaluation of the space, and design review. A few days later I received an email with 3D drawings of the proposed patio covering that Texas Outdoor Oasis could build. I was blown away on how they visualized the final project. It was hard to contain the excitement, as it felt like it had already been built and I was already enjoying it. I had a follow-up conversation at their office which gave me a chance to ask more questions. After that meeting I agreed to do the project with Texas Outdoor Oasis. I found that I had special requirements for some of the materials that were going to be used, including installing skylights in the design and they were very good at working with me to make sure I was happy. When they started construction, Texas Outdoor Oasis Informed me of the different stages and they were great at taking care of all the permits and discussions with the town. The workers were very professional and respectful, and they allowed me to ask questions during the process. They were also very skilled at solving unique challenges, such as working with three different roof lines when they tied the patio cover into the house. It was very important to me that the look of the house remain consistent. Much of the quality of the work can be found in the architectural embellishments they added to make the project look even more unique. My family could now enjoy the outside almost year-round due to the cover, which is exactly what we were looking for when we conceptualized the project. We are very proud when people come over and enjoy the space with us, it is allowed us to have a larger area to entertain and has become a great conversation topic. I cannot emphasize enough how happy we are with our experience with Texas Outdoor Oasis in general and Aaron Purser specifically. We contacted 3 companies to obtain estimates for long overdue new pool coping, retiling, and resurfacing. We chose TOA because of its competitive pricing and Aaron. During the estimate process, Aaron listened and was extremely flexible and insightful to meet our goals and budget. As we chose coping, tile, and plaster, he again listened, as well as helped us pick the perfect combination based on his experience of what looks great together. His goal was clearly to have the best end result for us as far as esthetics and price. Not once did he try to upsell or push us beyond our budget. During the build, he was very clear and continuity communicative. Overseeing the entire process, he made sure modifications were done that were not obvious to me, and ultimately made sure the end result was great looking and of high quality. Even after the project was completed (and bill was fully paid), he has followed up quickly and even come out as a couple questions about the natural stone arose. He even did additional concrete and skimmer work at no additional cost. Again, this was AFTER they were fully paid! Aaron is awesome at his job and an awesome person. Great company to work with! The neighborhood HOA was getting on my case about shifting sidewalks and the city refused to provide assistance in fixing the sidewalk. I contacted Texas Outdoor Oasis and they provided a reasonable estimate to replace the sidewalk and the walkway to the front door. While completing the work, they discovered a slow leak in the irrigation system, which they repaired. After initially agreeing that a retaining wall would help keep the walkway from shifting in the future, Casey informed me that he no longer felt it was necessary. He saved me a lot of money! His honesty and integrity make Texas Outdoor Oasis the only landscape contractor I will ever contact for future similar needs. read more

The designer. Tommy, took our vision and made a great plan which was well presented. Casey was our Project Manager. Once the project was started, the timeline went well. Some small changes in the plans were made after discussions with the Project Manager. These guys did an excellent job. During the proposal process, they emailed ECAD pictures of the patio pergola project which made the whole process so much easier. We extended our patio with a stamped concrete addition with pergola, and a garden area as well. They reworked the whole sprinkler system, added sod where they had damaged the grass, and added in mulch to the new garden. These guys have pride in their work. read more

We had a very good experience working with Texas Outdoor Oasis to build our pool. My husband has had a pool before, but I never have, so it was a fun process from design to implementation. We hit quite a few rain delays, plus the gunite delay. However, the pool was still completed within the agreed upon timeline!
