I'm concerned about the negative reviews not only here on YouTube, but also Google. I scheduled an appointment, but based on my interaction, then the reviews I decided to cancel, I take my health care very seriously, and am at a stage in my life that I do not want unnecessary drama, or tension. It's important to me that my doctors can work together to help manage my complex medical history, and I'm not confident this can happen in the atmosphere that the doctors are willing to over look, the staff can make or break the patient/doctor experience. read more

They are working very hard with me. Spinal damage' l love my doctors, They listen to me. But we have to come to a solution if possible, my body and pain goes on and on. Proceedures for me don't last at all. They are definitely doing all to keep me from another surgery! read more

When I called into the office to discuss a referral given to us by the doctor the receptionist (Jennifer) was extremely arrogant and flippant. I simple wanted to leave a message for the physicians assistance that I had spoken to the prior week about the surgery referral. The PA acted like this was a serious condition and wanted to speak with the doctor to see where he preferred to send for the referral. The receptionist basic reply was that they didn't do that, that it's up to me to find our own surgeon, etc. basically the opposite that I was told by the PA a week before this. She even laughed in my face when I started getting upset about not being allowed to leave a message for a physician assistant. Beyond rude and extremely frustrating for the patient. read more

I want to first say that I have been to this location prior. I called to set up an appointment initially and since I was an established patient they transferred my call and it went to voice mail. No problem, left a message got no response, so called again the next day. Same thing, except this time I was placed on hold for 15 minutes. Hung up and called back, about three minutes on hold, then answered, but no one is speaking to me. I could hear them laughing and cutting up in the background. I have another cell phone and tried calling them from that line while staying on the first one. No answer, goes directly to their voice mail. I called their Fort Worth location to ask for assistance, they answer immediately. I tell them what is going on and they put me on hold to call the other location. I the. Hear some one on the live line, "oh" then the line goes dead. I did not hear violations confidentiality, while I was on "hold", but I heard several other people get appointments made and personal information of the people in the office speaking. I did get in touch with a supervisor that set me up for an appointment for this morning at 9:30 am. Last Friday I get a voicemail telling me something unexpected came up and a doctor was not going to be there and they needed to change me to Wednesday at 9:30. I called back at 5, but they had already left. I left them a message. Got an automated call Sunday afternoon verifying my appointment for Tuesday at 9:30 am. I called Monday to see what time they would have available and that I needed to know as soon as possible because I have appointments that I would have to move. No return call. I called their Fort Worth location later that afternoon, explained it to the person there. They re-booked me for my original time, Tuesday at 9:30 am. I arrive Tuesday at 9:15 am and they tell me that the appointment is for Wednesday at 9:30 am and if I cannot make that one the next available would be December 9th. I told them to just cancel it. I left out and called the Fort Worth location that again verified that I was scheduled for that day at 9:30 am at the Keller location after they had just told me I was not. While I was on the phone she told me it was just cancelled. I do want to note that I never saw a physician here. The office staff was too unprofessional for me to continue on at this location. The physicians may be great, IDK. Hopefully no one else has to deal with the issues like this in the future. read more

Very disappointed with the staff, they have treated me with no respect and beyond. The doctors are great but the front desk ladies are very rude and unprofessional. I can't believe 5 minutes before my appointment they called me and canceled it. I really hope they don't continue to treat people like this. I trusted these people to help me through my pain and all they do is cause me more pain! Shame on the front desk staff! read more

WHY I LOVE MY SPINAL CORD STIMULATOR!!!!! I have CRPS. I never heard of this condition until I was diagnosed with it 2 years ago. I lived in tremendous pain for 5 years. I went from one orthopedic surgeon to the next, and the next and the next.... for those 5 years. Not one surgeon seemly understood why I could pick the worst pain in my foot. All the doctors I saw agreed my foot was in terrible condition, with multiple SERIOUS problems. They all confirmed I needed multiple surgery. But that was not possible. Every surgeon claimed that they could not preform all the surgeries on everything that was wrong with my foot. They stated, "a bomb went off in my foot", "If I fixed everything that was wrong with your foot it would take 12 hours on the operating table", If I repair everything you will never be able to walk again". The question that all the surgeon presented to me was, "where doe it hurt the most"? I couldn't answer that, My entire foot hurt, every where, all the time, and differently. It could change multiple times a day. The only thing that I knew to be true was the pain was constant, and at time unbearable. The pain was like giving birth to my feet almost every day. I seriously was losing hope. I cried a lot! I finally went to UTSW to see Dr.Dane Wukich, the head of Orthopedics. He knew what was wrong. He referred me to Dr. Bhatla. That is where my story changes. I was told about the Abbott spinal cord stimulator. At first, I was so afraid to get the device. I looked on line and saw the reviews. I scared myself out of it, but honestly the pain was so intense it was like, "What do I have to lose?" I just jumped in with all my fears and did it a year and a half ago. I have never been so happy I did something in my entire life. My pain was manageable after I decided to take a leap of blind faith. I still have pain, but not like it was. I have never had a pain level of a 9 in my feet again after I got the device. I have referred 4 of my friends that lived with high levels of daily pain. They all know me well and saw the difference in my life. Everyone of the got the implant. They all are very happy with the results. They all have different results, but they all have less, and one friend has NO MORE PAIN. I seriously can not understand why anyone living with chronic pain does not want a stimulator. It works better than pain medication. I know. I truly know! I have to adjust my stimulator at times and it knocks out pain better than any medication can. read more

Haven't been with this office long, since my last dr passed away. I've never had a smooth visit at this place and for the first time they've scheduled me at a different location which i was never told of. I picked the Keller location because of specific reasons. I showed up and they refused to see me, they wouldn't even consider letting me wait for an open spot. I work in Dallas as an hourly employee and took off specific time for this appointment. They treat you like a child and do not care about what's possibly convenient for their patients. They rescheduled me for another day which is more time i have to take off from work. After this next visit, I'm revisiting my spine surgeon for another referral. The only reason i gave them 2 stars is because i absolutely love Erin. Save your time and emotional stress and consider a different office. read more

This medical practice is the worst I have ever been to or heard of in the State of Texas. In extreme pain, I went to my primary doctor and told her my neuro-spinal cord stimulator had stopped working. The spinal cord stimulator was installed in my back in San Antonio, TX, as a result of being shot down in Vietnam. The stimulator did a great job, however, The Texas Pain Institute refused my primary care doctor's referral. The stimulator is 9 years old and needs to be replaced. This was a great way to support a disabled veteran! Don't go to this place!!! read more

I moved from California to Texas and found Doctor Wiley at the Texas Pain Relief Group and is a very Knowledgeable doctor he takes his time with his patients. read more
