It was a three and a half hour drive for us to get there from our house near The Woodlands. The Greater Piney Woods of East Central Texas between Huntsville and Tyler were a sight to behold and to this day, make me happy to be a Native Texan. Small towns, like Quitman, hide gems within their city limits. Stitchin' Heaven is one such place. Hitting the parking lot, you realize tuis is much more than a quilt shop. It is a quilters destination, a cloth clubhouse for anyone wanting to stitch up folk art. They have classes and retreats for those that desire to learn this ancient art of making bed coverings. We spent about an hour inside ... the Wife browsing, I, just gawking at the displays of true hand made beauty. Fantasy Quilts, Traditional ones, special themed ones all were draped along the walls to stare at and wonder. Wonder how someone could dedicate so much time and effort to achieve this work of love and art. I came out of there with a new appreciation of what thread, needles and a good set of shears can do to a bolt of cloth. If you are ever up there, stop by and just see the hanging quilts. We had to make calls and, luckily, for us, someone was still in the building next door and helped us. On the day of the class, our instructor was excellent, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. We definitely were very pleased with her and her class. But Stichin Heaven did not put new blades in the rotary cutters, and we had a difficult time trimming our fabric. We were concerned someone would cut themselves on the dull blades. I just feel Stichin Heaven has very poor customer service.

I called Alexander's in Winnsboro, TX to order a 2 spool remote setup for a Ford 3910. Was told…read morethey were out of stock and back ordered. Instead I was offered a reman setup(bait & switch maybe?) for $250 less than the new one. I took the bait and ordered the reman and was told they would ship it out that day. 2 weeks later, I live 200 miles away, I got the so- called kit. Valve itself looks pretty good, don't know if it works yet, no O-ring set to install it, and the couplers & hoses shown in the pic's. IMHO, the hoses & couplers are garbage. I called back to get a return authorization and was told they would not give me one but would send new couplers & hoses And the O-ring kit. 2 phone calls and 2 months later I have received nothing from them. I disputed the charge with Discover(how I paid) and they let the charge stand since I have no proof(written or recorded) that they would send replacements or that the originals were defective. So my recommendation would be to avoid doing business with them unless you want to take a chance and be treated like I was.
