My husband and I drove through Texas. We decided to stop by Wiley's Gun Shop in Willis Point, TX. We were greeted by a knowledgeable gentleman who was courteous and welcoming. He pointed us in the right direction for what we were looking for, answered questions my husband had about gun laws, and shotguns in the store. Great selection of ammunition and arms. We felt the value and price for what we were interested in was fair- since it was a popular firearm and hard to find. Definitely, recommend Wiley's! Not gonna recommend this place. Products are way overpriced. I could find better prices almost anywhere else. Gun range is pretty poor condition. Also be aware that they want you to shoot very slowly because apparently because of "noise complaints" from the owner of the property.(what I was told by an employee) Which doesn't makes sense because I don't understand what they would do about noise if they have multiple shooters on the range. I'm gonna avoid this range from now on. There are plenty of better ranges to go to. read more

UPDATE: Chris from Sen Bob Hall's office went to speak with Mary about violating the Second Amendment Right on 6/29/23 and she actually said, "I ask for a 4473 because that gun's cylinder can be converted, so it's a firearm". He didn't know gun law either and folded like a cheap poker table. So when Bob Hall says "I'm fighting for your Second Amendment Right!" -don't count on his office too much, folks. Mary's statement proves ignorance of The Federal Firearms Act of 1968, Title 18, U.S.C. 921(a)(3) and (a-16) which states, "Black Powder Rifles and Revolvers produced before 1898 that do NOT use cartridge or rimfire ammunition are NOT considered "firearms" but are "antiques", "curios" and "relics", this includes replicas of them, UNLESS modified to fire cartridge or rim fired ammunition, thus rendering such a "firearm". Call the ATF at 469-451-4700 to confirm that UNMODIFIED BLACK POWDER GUNS DO NOT REQUIRE 4473/FFL. The Walker replica has NOT been modified. It does NOT have a cartridge conversion cylinder. It is a period correct REPLICA produced as it was originally in 1847, having ONLY a BLACK POWDER cylinder for BLACK POWDER USE ONLY. Same for the Pietta 1858 Remington BLACK POWDER REPLICA. A Sheriff's Officer pointed out this FACT to Mary, but she stubbornly persisted in believing that because it CAN be modified, it's a firearm. So long story short, Wiley's lost a $803. opportunity, as she COULD have allowed the trade plus cash deal (as earlier mutually agreed on) between the 1847 Walker .44 replica and the Pietta 1858 Remington .44 replica (bought online WITHOUT a 4473, 2 yrs earlier,btw) to conclude, received the difference of 403. then sold the Pietta for at least 400. Conclusion: I'll shop elsewhere from educated people and ask only educated people to defend my rights. read more

Recently moved and found Wiley's while driving around one day. Decent selection, the prices are decent as well. I've seen places with better deals on pistols and some rifles. (Ak/AR) rifles are decent depending on model. I am a fan of their range. Sometimes there's 2-3 people but most of the time I have the range to myself. It's low cost to use, low cost per gun. Plus, it's out where there's little distraction while shooting (besides the peacocks, they keep to themselves). The range consist of a 100 yard, 75 yard and 50 yard. With pistol targets at 25. I had heard about Wiley's gun shop from a friend, and I was driving home from the DFW area, and decided to stop and gander, and I purchased a handgun while I was there. I did not go into the store to purchase the handgun per se, but I found the pistol I had been looking online for, for a lot less at Wiley's and the purchase was quick, easy, and the staff are very knowledgeable about the weapons they have in stock. Buying was a breeze, and I intend to keep going back. What astounded me, was the personal selection of antique weapons they had on the wall, much like stepping back into the past, and was amazed at the collection they had from a private donor. Do not hesitate to go to Wiley's, I will be making the drive back for further firearm purchases. Great place to visit, and the employees are friendly, and treat you like family. read more

This place was recommended to me by a fellow Redditor, it's out in the middle of no where. Ammo prices seemed fair(Walmart prices), they had a little bit in stock. They had lots of reloading supplies, and prices seemed good for that too. Lots of used and new firearms to choose from, and very helpful and friendly staff. The shooting range is very small, and quite muddy after a rain, but it was cheap and a lot of fun. They have a 25yd pistol and small bore range, and a 100yd rifle range, with two half assed attempts at a 50yd and 75yd off to the side. FMJ IS ALLOWED. Next door was a camel and a bunch of blood hounds, so that was strange. It was fun, and I will go back there to shoot, and probably buy something. read more

Been going to Wiley's for years. Awesome place with a big selection. Small range but to be honest most people in this area have there own pasture so no need for a big fancy one. Staff is always nice and very knowledgeable. They have a variety of guns at a wide range of prices to meet anyone's needs or budget. Definitely recommend this place. read more

My Dad took me here when we were on vacation in the area. It's out in the middle of no where. Tons of stuff, usual selection of 'normal' guns. Saw a few things I haven't seen other than at a gun show (Kel Tec KSG). Prices seem middle of the road. Nice friendly folks too. Wish I had gotten a shirt while I was there. read more

1st Thing all the guys are great and very helpful in helping you choose the right gun, they helped my wife with choosing a Walther. 2nd. This is the only place that you can shot a pistol if the they a demo model, this was great for my wife, we had bought a gun from Bass Pro and she couldn't pull the trigger on it what a waste of money, I am stuck with a gun she hates.
