While I was in the store, an older man working behind the counter carried on an extended conversation with another customer that involved repeated derogatory comments about Mexican Americans and American Spanish speakers. This wasn't a single offhand remark -- it went on for a noticeable amount of time, openly and unapologetically, right in front of other customers. What made it even worse was how comfortable they seemed saying it, as if they assumed everyone in the store either agreed or couldn't understand them. I understood exactly what was being said, and it created an uncomfortable, hostile environment that no customer should have to tolerate. Personal opinions have no place being broadcast from behind a retail counter, especially when they cross into ethnic or racial slander. Allowing that behavior reflects poorly on the business and its leadership. I will not be returning, and I would strongly encourage management to address this immediately.

Texomaland's premier and largest supplier of firearms, ammo, accessories, knives, apparel and some miscellaneous food items. Extremely cool T-Shirts, and caps. They have a gun range on site. Which also includes classes for Texas license to carry permits. You need to sign up as the classes fill quickly. The customer service is incredible. The staff is very knowledgeable. However, I wouldn't necessarily classify it as sporting goods, they don't sale the same stuff you get at Academy to Dick's Sports, they sale outdoor mountainy type of items... climbing, hiking, kayaking, bouldering, trail walking, camping ... that type of stuff, both materials and the clothes. This place is huge--two floors of sporting goods wonderland with a giant fish tank arch on the first floor!
