We have been at SMLS for the last 2 years and we cannot express how amazing it is. The teachers are…read moreamazing and really care about our boys. We love that the facility has 2 outdoor play areas and an indoor gym which really makes a difference on those hot days in the summer. The curriculum is also really great, my oldest is so far ahead of other kids his age and we constantly get compliments on how smart he is for his age. The best part is we feel like we are part of a family and everyone really loves our boys as much as we do. We would highly SMLS recommend to anyone considering a place to send their kiddos.

Now I know there have rising tuition fees, etc....but not everyone can go to a university. I've been taking courses for a graphic design certification. Even though you might have a Bachelor's degree, there's nothing wrong in going back to school for enrichment. My dad always told me never stop learning. Also, this particular college campus hasn't given any bad service. Don't let the one and a half star rating fool you.

The school is beautiful and new and kept clean. Each class has a lot of natural light which is important to me. They have a cafeteria for the older kids and a technology room with fun activities. They also have many big outdoor spaces for the kids to play and each space is for a certain age group. The staff at both locations are the biggest reason that we love the prep. All of the teachers are welcoming, warm, friendly and smart! The pre k and kinder teachers have been great as well and seem like they take great pride in what they do! Lastly the administration staff is amazing and easy to talk to! I love them anD again am so grateful for these amazing people who take care of my precious babies!!

We were worried it was "too soon" and he "wasn't ready", but really it was us who were scared, our little boy LOVED the teachers and the other kids pretty much instantly. He's been there a year now and in the morning when we ask him if he wants to go to school he says "cool! cool!" (for school) and gets his PREP t-shirt and points to the letters on the front. He recognized that's his school shirt! I have to start at the top and say that the current manager there, Brittany, is hands down the best at her job (and we're talking now having seen her handle the pandemic shutdown and reopening and masks and all this craziness). Through it all, and all the personnel changes, Britanny never drops the ball when it comes to the care of the kids OR prompt responses to the parents with literally ANY concerns (for example, when my little one has a diaper rash problem for a few days, I literally call and ask them to put certain creams on in a certain order and then I'll even double check throughout the day and ask them to randomly check his diaper, etc etc - if you're reading this and think I'm crazy, you're not a mom :) - but seriously it's never even a bother. They're SO NICE at the front office. They totally understand my concerns and they TRULY want the kids to be happy. FACILITIES - clean (really clean!), new, modern TOYS - constantly introducing new toys/books/age-appropriate learning materials ACTIVITIES - they do SO MUCH stuff that I can't possibly even think of replicating at home. From outdoor play, to art projects, to sing-alongs and racing games... MANAGEMENT - just excellent. As I said, while some people have come and gone, everyone in the front office is always kind and responsive, and Brittany, the manager, runs a tight ship. I'm clearly overprotective (as you can tell by this review, I'm sure :) And I've never once had a situation where I thought Brittany wasn't 100% on it or ahead of it. TEACHERS - all have been really sweet! Again, some have been young college students here for the summer that went back to school, so there's some transition (which is totally normal for this business) but to their credit, from day one, all the teachers were really friendly and caring and responsive to my many many questions. (how long did my boy nap today?what did he eat? what are his favorite sing along songs? etc etc). Can't say I didn't like a single one. We literally had some very good reasons to MOVE out of state, and the top thing BOTH my husband and I instantly said was "not till all our kids finish daycare here! No way are we going to a different daycare". That's how strongly we feel that the PREP is just awesome...and our second kid will be starting there soon! If anything, wish I started them BOTH sooner..but you know, new mom guilt :)

We put out babygirl in their infant class starting at 4 mo old which is always hard. The classrooms are always clean, toys too, and the teachers are well-selected (high quality). They care for your kids as though they are their own (what more can a mom ask for). As parents who work in an incredibly demanding industry -- Oaksong gives us peace of mind to do our thing while helping to raise our little lovie ;) Thanks for all that you do, Oaksong.

We have been so incredibly happy with our experience with both ages and classrooms. They have such nurturing and kind teachers and staff, and it's a welcoming and happy space. My kids never want to leave! They have flexible scheduling, offering before school care (8:15-9), 4 hours of preschool (9-1), and after school care (1-2:30), with options of 2, 3, or 5 days per week. I couldn't be happier with FUMP and its community of parents, teachers and staff.

They also worked with Facebook to help these individuals learn about computers, be careful when surfing the web and create pages to display their work. I have been at this school as a freshman back in 2024-2025. That school is not good for me because…read moreafter 10 minutes after you have use the restroom or something you have to do like the nurse for example, they can't let you in the freshman cafeteria unless they just open the doors instantly for you. Instead they just let you starve and the worst part about being on campus is that they have the big caged metal doors closed and they can't open them until lunch is over or they just open them 3 minutes after lunch is over. They used to let you have 7 minutes to get to your class, now you only have 5 minutes and if you walk from a class that is far away from your last class and the last bell just rang, they have you get a tardy and if you got 2, you would go to I.S.S.! Because how are you supposed to get to your next class from K Hall to L Hall for example and if you walk your normal speed, they make you get a tardy pass. your 2nd one will be I.S.S.! Also, I need to talk about the buses. The athletic side is okay, but when you leave the main building to get to the buses, they have the little yellow barriers to prevent you from going on the right side of the road when they are on the left side. They are not gonna be on the right side anyways because they never go there except for when they pull over and they have this sign that says "if you go under the barrier, you will get ISS or OSS (out of school suspension). Like it's just a barrier, they don't need to take it so seriously. My bus was the reason why I got home at 6 one day because the bus in the very very front wouldn't move and we had to wait at the school for nearly half an hour on the buses till the first driver moved after those 30 minutes. About the restrooms: The staff says you can't go during the first and the last 15 minutes of class. If it was an emergency, some teachers won't let you go because they have to follow the policy, which is fine, but students need to use the restroom before the 15 minute mark because they can't hold it in for too long, but guess what. They closed off all of the restrooms, even the ones in L Hall. The school's policies are just pretty depressing and unfair to be honest.
