Our fireplace was on during one of the coldest day's and heard popping and vibration noises in the chimney and turned it off. After Isaac arrived to inspect our chimney inside our fireplace, in the attic and on top of our roof, he determined everything looked securely connected with no issues. He determined since it was so cold and the heat from having the fireplace on was only expansion noises. We felt very comfortable with him showing us that everything was still in place and we had no problem moving forward. They had to extend stove pipe away from the roof, reapply silicon to stove pipe which had not been property cleaned with acetone and then sealed properly, cut additional wood from the roof away from the stove pipe. The Hearth guys will also have to return to install a damper, which was not included. We paid up front; and after that the quality of service took a nose dive.
