I have lived here for 1 year now and I can honestly say Ive had a great experience. First I'll begin with the leasing staff: Ury, Marie, Vivian & Issac are exceptional when it comes to customer service and attention. Any time i had questions or needed something they greeted me with a smile. My packages were always safe and I never had issues even with the ones that were delivered at my door. Parking was always available and easy. Maintenance responded quickly and always got my issues taken care of (didn't have many). The gym is one of the best (very rare to find a rental community with a stair master!!) the pool is great and so is the game room. It was quiet and peaceful, I never had issues with noise or neighbors. The location is A++ close to 75, and plenty of grocery stores as well as restaurants. I am very sad to re locate and would definitely stay another year if I could. I highly recommend this place for your next home (this review is as genuine as it gets) !!!!!! read more

Other than the location there is nothing worth living here. There is no communication between the management and the residents. The amenities are limited at best. The pool is not operational and the residents have limited access to the pool, health facilities. The management never replaced the front gates. The maintenance staff does what they can but they are understaffed. I had mold in my place from the windows, a leak from the apartment above me which was just painted and slapped some new drywall (continued to leak). The AC also broke and they left material in my apartment for over a week. When they came to work on the place, they tracked mud and dirt throughout the apartment. Broken slider doors. The staff simply doesn't care about anything or anyone. Currently trying to charge me $1,000 for a dirty carpet (which I don't wear shoes in the house, eat on the carpet, and had a cleaner come to the house every Sunday), and a dirty oven. Other people I know are moving out and dealing with the same thing. Never live here. It was a waste of money and I felt dirty. read more

It's an older construction and that would be fine-I'm not a snob-but their upkeep has been non-existent for the past two decades and everything is broken, painted over; all band-aid fixes; It's a tale as old as time. The only genuinely kind and helpful leasing office person is Marie. The maintenance guys are nice, good, honest, etc., but they're overworked because of the way this place has been managed. If you consider living here, take careful inventory of disrepairs, broken appliances, carpet stains, etc., before moving in. They charge 30%-40% more than they should be allowed. Negotiate the price if you can and don't be fooled by the low intro rent or free month of rent. They'll get their money on the backend when they raise your rent 20% to continue your lease, thereby forcing you to move. read more

Since October 21 there have been over 10 written work orders for issues with the air conditioning. It is not cool and has been going out intermittently. On and off Since October 21 I have been without Air conditioning cooling for approximately 2 to 3 weeks. The amount of times that I have had to bring this up is just incredulous and that doesn't even include the unfulfilled requests over the emergency hotline which were multiple as well. If there are so many issues within the unit especially Of that nature. I would expect the community Director or someone in the administration to take notice of the amount of times in a short period that an air conditioning unit has not been working properly and then obviously makes a resident uncomfortable it also breaches their safety to a degree I brought this to Vivian's attention today in person and asked if there's anything she can do for the inconvenience in the form of a credit to our account but in the end she rudely waved me off with my mother on the phone and could do nothing to help us. We are in the process to vacate but that doesn't mean we should be treated unfairly, neglected, or discriminated against until our departure. Vivian has a very poor attitude, is very selective, and has made it obvious that she does not want us to abide in the unit. Some of the claims substantiating the "eviction" are total lies she says that she has verification but her verification is all hearsay. I asked her if she had photos or proof None could be provided. Vivian is extremely unprofessional and short tempered. It is our strong belief that this was a targeted response in order to get us out of the unit quickly. We are on our second year living in this community , and I've never missed a payment. The kind of attitude and treatment Vivian exhibited it's just totally unacceptable, and if this is how TGM handles things that is also an atrocity. There was just a catastrophic storm not too long ago (which is the reason for harboring multiple animals who didn't have a home) Vivian cannot substantiate her claims for the eviction it is just ridiculous. We are almost happy to be leaving because even if we make the effort for a case to stay within Tgm we do not want to be under constant scrutiny under Vivian's management. What my hypothesis is that she has a great/personal relationship with a resident(s) in the community who have possibly complained complained about me or the dog(a) which is why we started being under scrutiny, given a notice and an eviction letter in no less than two months. We have been here for over two years and in two months negative action towards us from the office has been intense and more frequent to say the least. I will be leaving one star reviews On just about every website I can. It will include everything I have said above. Vivian may be qualified to be in her position It is a very significant role as a community Director, but for her to put her signature on a legal document outlining complete fabrications is also just horrendous. Vivian claims that she's had verification from maintenance staff and residents. When I then asked where is her verification, "is it just hearsay? Do you have any photos or evidence?especially if Tgm staff are substantiating these claims just through words, Photos should be taken as well because it is completely not true. After receiving the first notice of compliance on November 18, 2022 We have made those corrections I highly recommend Vivian gets fired or demoted. we are not pursuing legal action as we are vacating willingly, but she can definitely cause problems in the future with other residents if she keeps up with this arbitrary, biased, and immoral management style. I rented from here 3 years ago and we were completely taken advantage of. Only a month into our lease, our upstairs neighbors flooded their apartment. It was pouring water from the ceiling, all they did was tell us to put out something to collect the water. They did absolutely nothing for our couch that got soaked with our neighbors bathroom water, did absolutely nothing for us in the meantime, no advice or ways to solve it. Not even speaking financially, just being empathetic to the fact that we had water coming through our ceiling all over our things. A few days later after nothing was done and the water dried, they PAINTED OVER IT. A few months after this we had a cockroach come through an electrical socket, our cats noticed it and soon after a massive roach came through the panel. Also there was roach with literal paint on it in the outlet. We figured it might be a one time thing but they continuously kept coming through that same outlet. Reading the old comments really made me a little nervous about moving here but decided to give it a shot anyways. I have no negative things to say about this place so far. The lease agent Claudio was super helpful since day 1, responded to my emails within minutes. When I picked up the keys the staff was friendly and Vivian walked the apt with me to make sure it was all good. She took pictures and notes of anything she didn't find right like a chip of paint here and there or minor damages. That same day I received a text from her to let me know that Gabriel the maintenance guy was on his way to fix everything we noticed. Gabriel was SO nice and helpful, for everything figured out so quick and fixed. The neighborhood is quiet. I would say a downfall can be taking out the trash to the dumps since there's no trash valet but it's nothing major. Thank you TGM team! read more

Wish I could give negative stars! The worst renting experience I've had by a long shot. I've rented in Chicago, LA, NY and now Naples, and this was not just the worst, it was the most blatantly unfair and passively aggressive hostile treatment I've experiences. As long as you agree with whatever the management team says, they leave you alone. You disagree about their COVID policies, for instance, then WATCH OUT. I was targeted ever since and by all accounts, I was a model tenant. No parties, no pets, paid my rent in advance and travelled extensively for work, so I was barely there. Leave a bathroom rug out while washing your apartment, get a notice of noncompliance. Meanwhile, have your neighbor below with a Xmas tree outside for 3 months, nothing is said. The last insult to injury - they took my entire security deposit and also charged me an additional $725 (which they sent to a collection agency so I couldn't contest it). The reason they gave? Excessive pet urine and odor. Only problem is... I DIDN'T HAVE A PET! Stay far far away from this place until it has a new management team. I hope they all get fired because the location is ideal. read more

Our family is moving to Florida due to work transfer. Called several times to get information and eventually to lease. It is very hard to get in touch with the main office. When we actually got in touch with one of the staff (CS), paperwork was sent to us to start the process. Our last conversation, he wasn't able to talk to us because he had a prospect with him and he will be calling us in 10 to 50 minutes. I understand that it is part of the business. That was last Friday, March 30th. We are still waiting for the phone call. I was able to lease in another complex and I am out of the state. I moved into a dirty apartment with mold growing in the toilet tanks. My air conditioning failed in the first month. The maintenance crew was slow IF they fixed something, they would rather eat lunch or drive the golf carts around. After living here just about a year, I highly recommend living anywhere but this community. A huge percentage of listed amenities are not accurate; the hot tub hasn't worked in years, it is not a gated community, the 24 hour gym has been 24 hours for maybe 2 months, so forth and so on. The newly renovated unit included a bath that was installed improperly with a window covered in black mold, but thank goodness for the complimentary shower curtain and towels to divert your attention from it when you tour and move in. When we did move in, we were offered a storage unit with our apartment lease. However, when we tried to access it, all of our belongings were moved to a garage AND our fishing pools stolen. Vivian Baez, community director, informed us it was never properly on our lease, they added it to the wrong tenant's lease. The catch of that series of events is that our apartment key and storage unit had the exact same key. Therefore, someone we did not know had access to all of our belongings and to our toddler and our family when we felt safe and comfortable in our own home. Vivian Baez had originally signed our lease agreement as supervision over Marie Pierre so I'm not sure who to blame the incompetence on, but it is completely unacceptable. They in no way apologized for the vulnerability we felt knowing that for the entire term of our lease someone else could've walked in and done who knows what to our belongings or our baby. I will not ever recommend renting from this community, and especially not under Marie Pierre or Vivian Baez, who clearly have no regard for others' belongings or safety of their children. It took a week for them to take our request seriously about getting the locks changed in the storage unit we lost access to. So, thank goodness the maintenance crew held on to our stuff, but like the fishing poles that were stolen, the three sets of golf clubs and TVs stored in there must've been a little enticing. The head of maintenance is the only person who deserves a recognition because he promptly helped resolve all that he could and was available to us, apologetic and helpful. Please, save yourself the hassle and don't rent here. There are cockroaches, rats and mice, mold and faulty appliances. I have lived at TGM Bermuda Isle Apt for almost six years. The management team this year has been Very good and responsive. I have two small dogs as do many residents. We walk the lakeside promenade morning and evening and meet old and new friends. I would love to keep renting here, but they have made many improvements: roofs/AC, new kitchens and bathrooms. I get it, someone has to pay for these upgrades. I have two issues: management needs to enforce dog breeds and size. Every new resident with a dog needs to bring it to the office and registered. When the courtesy gates do work, every resident has the same code- terrible idea. Suggestion - unique codes for every apt. Controlled by car window bar code.if it becomes unreadable then its $25.00 for a replacement. Put me in charge of security for a month. read more

On my recent visit to Naples I went to several communities in North Naples looking for an apartment with my mother. She is moving from Ohio. I visited TGM Bermuda Island and was totally impressed. The community is what she is looking for amenity wise, price wise, and the 2 bedroom unit is spacious, with a great layout. We were also impressed with your leasing agent, Claudio Serrano. His professional appearance, knowledge of all aspects of the community as well as lease requirements made me comfortable right away. Questions were answered promptly, thoroughly, with a sense of care. Most leasing staff in the other communities I visited were impatient and vague. We will be returning to Naples in the Spring and will be back to TGM Bermuda Island. read more

The office staff is filled with scam artists and Liars! Avoid this place! The office staff are bullies and scam artists. They started off nice and helpful, but quickly became rude and condescending. We were considering an apartment and put a deposit because we were told multiple times we had 3 business days to get the deposit back. When we told them, we wanted to get our deposit back due to finding a better apartment for less money, they refused stating it was 48 hours to request a refund. Not only that, they were extremely rude, condescending, and lied about what was said. When confronted with email proof, they doubled down on their position and continued to lie and make things up. Very suspect! The apartments themselves are rundown and filthy. The walkways are disgusting, covered in dust, old gum, and other trash. The inside of the apartment was rundown. There were holes in the doors and walls that someone made a poor attempt to cover up in hopes that new tenants wouldn't notice. When brought up to the staff, the staff member dismissed it. There was an infestation of bugs in the bathroom. When told, the staff member rolled his eyes and said, "pest control comes on Wednesday". Unless you want to overpay to deal with scam artists and live in a revolting apartment, look elsewhere! Update in response to TGM's Reply: I am sorry that my experience is not in line with your efforts to provide efficient and professional service as well. You mentioned wanting to make things right by coming in again, but why would I want to do that when your staff treated us so poorly initially? If you were truly concerned about making things right, you would have honored what was said initially regarding the deposit, and the staff would not have lied. They installed new carpet prior to starting our lease and are now fraudulently trying to collect for new carpeting now that we've moved. The carpet was perfect when we left. They will not provide any documentation of damage to the carpet. They never sent us a bill for damaged carpet or an option to pay bill directly. This is illegal. they sent a request for payment directly to a collection agency. When we called TGM to dispute the charges, which exceeded our deposit, they refused to talk to us. We recently moved back to Naples and we did not hesitate to be back in TGM Bermuda . Since day 1, Marie has been very helpful and wonderful with us ,making the lease and moving process easy. They have a new maintenance team who are doing a great job as well. We decided to be back at TGM Bermuda because it is a nice place to live , great amenities ,located in a great school zone ,is safe and if we ever had an issue , the office staff lead by Vivian will do their best to fix it right away. read more

I have rented here at TGM Bermuda Island for the past two years and have found it to be a safe and comfortable place to be. The maintenance staff was always prompt and efficient with resolving any issues in the apartment and the office staff was equally friendly and helpful. Renting in Naples can be very expensive but I thought TGM Bermuda Island was reasonable and comparable with other rental complexes. Be cautious and do your homework.... make sure you read the lease and fine print. There are pros and cons to this place, so I will do my best to fill you in. In this part of FL there are a lot of seasonal visitors....maybe not looking for long term rentals.... TGM gears their leases for 1 year +, so it may not be good for snow birds looking to stay for the winter only. We signed a 1 year lease and with about 4 months left realized we had to leave the state. Cancelling or trying to get out of your lease is so expensive and hard, it was easier to keep paying the lease for the remaining 4 months. During the year we lived there, things changed, but management wasn't really kind or helpful. Example: there was valet trash when we moved in, where you put your garbage out at night and it would get picked up by the service. They cancelled that. For some people it became a major issue because the trash deposit is only on 1 side of the complex. Carrying large and heavy trash bags is not an option for some people when you have to walk a long distance to get there. They only reduced the monthly utility bill by $5..... And never got a new service. This created major trash problems. People would put their trash on top of their car and drive to the compactor. Most of the time the trash would fly off and go all over the neighborhood. The trash compactor was always jammed, over filled, etc. so after walking with your bags you either leave them by the dump, or walk them back to your Appartment. The management sent letters saying they would fine you if you left your trash by the compactor. What about when it over flows.....what do we do? They had a decent maintenance team, but we had someone come to fix our A/C 4 times in a month because it wasn't working. Seemed they weren't fully fixing it but putting a band aid on it. Lastly, if you went to management to tell them you have to move for for certain circumstances, they would not work with you at all. Some of their team were not really all that nice either. In 1 year they had to shut the pool down several times for maintenance. Always some issues going on there. The price is a bit high. Better off finding a cheaper place to live read more

We moved here in an impulsive move by the husband because he could not find a reasonable price rental that allowed the dog in a short time. Since we moved in I would call this place "the cave" because during the day I didn't want to open the blinds due to privacy concerns. Anyone who walked by the outside corridor could see into your place since the windows are not tinted for privacy during the day and overall the place has poor natural light. More importantly if you are a light sleeper then this place is not for you. You can hear doors slamming, people talking, dogs barking, and rain storms almost as if you were sleeping outside. On the positive this is a dog friendly community so if you are willing to sacrifice your quality of life for your dog then this is the place for you. They have a dog park and a nice walking trail with doggie poop bags and trash bins. They have a nice non heated pool with spa that I did not swim in because the temperature was to cold. They also respond to maintenance request in a timely manner however it a bit time consuming to call or stop by since they will assist sales before residents so be prepared to wait if there is someone looking into moving in. You have to request to have air filters to be changed so I would have to go every month. Location of this place is what makes it desirable close to I-75, good schools, stores and family activities. read more

Management is a joke, Vivian lost our money order for rent, then after we were out $60 due to having to pay to have the money order tracked she finds the money orders. This after having to come up with another $1700+ so we weren't evicted. She calls both me and my boyfriend and accuses us of "playing games", she told me on the phone " I bet you won't come to the office and talk to me..." After standing in the office with nothing being accomplished we contacted "corporate" twice a day for at least a week, no one would return our calls and the manager "Bobby" was always out of office then on vacation. Here we are moved out of there over a month later and still having to deal with this trash of a company. I would NEVER rent from these fools again, by far the most unprofessional management company. Maintenance is another joke, the master door split in two after about a month of living there and they ran STAPLES down the door, did not replace the door, they didn't have any doors and would order us one...a year later and the door still had staples in it. Faucets always leaked, even after they came in and "fixed" the leaks. The property was always gross, mold growing all over the buildings, side walks and trash all over. Resident for 1+ year. Personally, cannot wait to get out of here. Convenient to shopping & banks, beaches 20 minutes away. Excessive noise from slamming doors and screaming kids playing in hallways. Increasing visits from local police for theft and domestic disturbances. If you want to resolve issues, it is up to you to contact police, as management will not/can not do anything (so they say). Poor response from management with tenant noise, disturbances, etc. After six complaints to management, NO complaints are ever resolved. *Maintenance IS prompt and responsive. Due to electrical problems I lost two expensive water pics, two toothbrushes, a hair dryer, & a curling iron- all to one faulty outlet that was 'fixed' - a month earlier. Exterior of buildings is great-but there are issues inside: worn carpeting, cheap appliances, constantly running toilets and dripping faucets. There is excessive dust- every month You must request the filters be changed, otherwise they won't be. Pool has been redone (two months during spring break 2015). Tenant water bills increased to cover the refilling of the pool, and the spring power washing. Weekends at the pool and planned functions for residents are not fun. NON-tenant visitors are a big problem- management ignores complaints (they are friends and relatives). No enforcement of pool rules- loud kids jumping, splashing, and running, toys in pool (footballs, etc.)...if you are looking for a relaxing day at the pool, you are not going to find it here. Stay away! I put $500 deposit on an apt. They called me back a few days later, asking for $1200 more! Now they won't return my $500, have to take them to court! Do not sign anything, the leasing agent , Gabrella never returned my phone calls, I had to threaten to sue before I got a response! Then Sarah from TGM , their management company called me and refused to return my $500! They bait, and switch, they pray on the elderly, and people with bad credit!
