I will almost always give five starts to any place that's not afraid to serve some serious spice to a white girl. I mean, I had to beg a bit, but my spicy chicken pad Thai was SO WORTH IT. Order a Thai tea if you need to cut the spice. My friend had the red curry at a mild spice level and she was also happy with the flavor and heat. She also recommends the crab wontons! Ok. I was not happy the Pho place across the street was closed, on a Wednesday? I called this place and was assured they had Pho. The place leaves a little to be desired but I guess I'm in Kansas. The Pho was great. The service good. I didn't care for the beef pad ti too sweet. Pho was good, the shrimp roll not bad. The table could have been cleaner and the sauce bottles definitely needed cleaned. That being said I was pleased with the experience. I would give it 3 1/2 stars. This is my favorite Thai restaurant. We order takeout frequently here. They are very fast at making the food. It has always been ready by the time I arrive, within 15 minutes at times. Some of my favorites here are the pad ciu noodles. Spicy udon noodles, egg rolls, and anything stir fried with vegetables. Their boba drinks are the best. Pad kee Mao aka Drunken noodles. I ordered spicy level 4 (1-5 level range), was told it would be too hot. Most people order level 3. So I lowered it to the recommendation. I usually make the assumption that Thai places are catering to Americans that can't handle the spice. This place was no joke. Spicy level 3 equated to what I'm used to being a level 10. I would have maybe enjoyed it a little better at a level 2 because it was so damn hot but either way I was definitely impressed with the heat and flavor. Pretty decent Thai place. I've been to several across America. I have to tell you that this place is good. I don't know why, but you have to come to Garden City Kansas for good Thai food. Give it a shot. I go for the chicken pad Thai spicy. The spicy is not too hot. A medium at most places would be the equivalent of the spicy here. read more

Good Thai food. We were a party of 18 on the road from Denver, so we shared a lot of dishes. But my mistake, I was craving Pho and when I saw it on the menu, I fell for it. I also ordered a Thai coffee and it came out iced. It was 12 degrees outside and they told me Thai coffee only comes iced. Look, be kind to me I moved away to were the nearest Pho place is 90 miles away...I know it was wrong of me to get the Pho fix at a Thai place, but when the waitress said it was the real thing, I NEEDED to believe her. I then asked her the safety question, "Does it come with fresh basil and sprouts on the side? With Rooster sauce?" She assured me it did, and that it even came with the spice carousel. ...Sadness....sadness, just plane austere sadness. It was good noodle soup, but it was not Pho. Even the Rooster sausce was not real, it tasted like Tapatio. I even had my wife confirm it, yup Taptitio. The waitress told me it was real Roosters sausce, not Tapatio and just a different brand of Rooster.....Ahhhhench? So the four stars are for the Thai food, price and service. read more

Where to start...this is hands down the best Thai food I've ever had. I use to bring Thai food back with me when I went to Kansas City until I ate here. The Thai place I ate at in Kansas City hottest level was Thai hot, that's is about a spicy level 2 here. Only 4 or 5 people have eaten their spicy level 5. I generally do the level 3 but am excited to try the 5. The staff is uber nice and helpful if you want recommendations. There isn't anything that you can order here and go wrong with. Everything is prepared fresh when you order it. Pad Thai is a very popular dish and they definitely do not disappoint with their dish. The chicken and rice soup is EPIC!! Yes it's that amazing, I don't even like soup but I will devour this stuff. It's a huge bowl, it's so aromatic and the cilantro definitely picks up and carries the flavor of the broth. The Pad Kee Mao is also an amazing dish to try. Again there really isn't any way to go wrong with what ever you decide to try. read more

Best Thai food I've ever had, mo joke! The ingredients are very fresh and the food is very authentic to the Thai cuisine. This place gets very busy during lunch hour. It's sort of a casual sit down dining experience. When you arrive, an employee leads you to the table then eventually takes your order. When it comes time to pay the bill, you pay at the counter which is located near the entrance/exit door. I've tried the dumplings which are delicious and I've tried a type of soup which I don't remember the name but it's a Thai version of a sweet and sour soup that had shrimp, meatball and pho noodle in it... Best thai soup ever! It's especially good if you are fighting a cold. Lastly I had their tofu stir fry which is so perfectly flavored. The food was so good I came back the next day for more! I love this place. It's not fancy looking a talk from the outside, or inside either actually. That's usually where you'll find the best food anyway. I went here 2 nights in a row. Yellow curry with pork the first night and Kra Pao beef the second. They were both very delicious. I enjoyed the Kra Pao more a little more because it just kind of fit things I like. I had Pad Thai and my boyfriend had Pork Pa Nang. Wow! I have been looking for good Thai since I moved from Wichita where I always had the best Pad Thai at Thai Tradition. I tried many a Pad Thai in bigger cites. This is as good or better than Thai Tradition in Wichita. The restaurant isn't much to look at, but the prices are good and the food was better. I want to try everything on the menu. I asked for spicy combo Pad Thai and it didn't disappoint. It was 2 meal's worth too. The pork Pa Nang was sweet and spicy with whole fresh jalapeno.
