Love their selection of ingredients for Thai cooking. Their drink section especially is fun as hell to peruse. I always get my coconut water from here. Good pricing. Service is always straightforward and professional. Store at times has boxes awaiting sorting, but besides a little bit of disorder everything is kept very clean. I always try a new snack every time I stop in.

Seaweed snack, dried mushrooms, anise seasoning, noodles, etc.

I should slap myself for driving by this gem so many times and not coming in. I'm sure I was in here for about an hour. I had a good time exploring. I nearly cried when I saw they had noodles without wheat. (I've looked all over for years). There are soooo many spices, snacks, fruits, vegetables, etc. I bought a crispy seaweed snack that was pretty good. I ended up getting the peanut crunch--which had only 3 ingredients. Left with quite a bit and only spent $21. I'm sold!

Love this store but a heads up that as of 11/7/21, their evening hours seem off. They've been closed by 7 every time I've come after 7pm. This might be a pandemic change that simply isn't listed anywhere. This place has a pretty wide variety of ethnic food, from Thai and Vietnamese (probably the largest selection) to Japanese, some Korean and Hispanic. Nice bulk produce, fresh bread, frozen goods and all the dry noodles, rice and sundry items you could want. I tend to spend at least an hour just looking around and never leave without a case of canned coffee and instant noodles of some type (there's a whole aisle dedicated to them). As far as I can tell, this is the biggest Asian market in town and it's been my go to for many years. Would recommend.

Nem Chua with garlic, chili, and black pepper. We remove all of those before enjoying!

I dropped by here to buy spicy Nem Chua and savory Gio Lua for my parents. Apparently one of their friends brought some back from this store, so they wanted me to go get some. It is lined up next to the desserts in the opened fridge! We packed them in a cooler to bring back to KC and my parents and family really enjoyed them, so we will be picking up more next time we're here. Glad to have found this store!! Note: you can freeze the Gio Lua until use, but always keep them both cool to preserve their deliciousness. *From Google: - Nem Chua: fermented pork dish served with bird's eye chili, garlic, and Vietnamese coriander; the meat is sweet, sour, salty and spicy - Gio Lua: Vietnamese ham/sausage

    Fresh fruits! I bought bananas.

Being from Kentucky we have a few small Asian markets. None of this caliber. Had a great time browsing the aisles and putting things in my cart. Lots of things I wanted, but they wouldn't travel well. Got fresh ginger, turmeric, and numerous spices and sauces. Had a bang mi sandwich for lunch. Bought some small bananas. Will be back when I am in town.

OMG -- I can't believe how many times I've driven past this market and said to myself "I need to stop in there and check it out". I went there today looking for a couple of specific items for making Spring Rolls tomorrow. Now I want to kick myself for living in Wichita for 4 1/2 years without shopping here -- what a piece of Asian Heaven!! First of all, this place is ENORMOUS. To the right, there is a Clothing Boutique and in the far left is their Produce, Meats and Cold Case Items. Also on the left there is an area with Cookware. In the middle there are really long rows of any Asian products. There were like 4 or 5 rows devoted to 'Noodles' -- actually kind of overwhelming. They had Thai Noodles, Japanese Noodles, Vietnamese Noodles, Filipino Noodles, Ramen, etc -- any kind you want -- it's there somewhere! I had almost talked myself out of going there today because it had snowed and the streets are really Icy, but tomorrow is my Daughter's Birthday and I wanted to make her some Spring Rolls and Crab Ragoon and some kind of Stir Fry. There were rows and rows of condiments that I am anxious to go back and explore. Some canned veggies and fruits that I need to find out how to prepare. And that Cold Case needs to be stared at and make some mental notes for future dinners. I am SO EXCITED because both my Daughter and I LOVE Asian Cuisine!! And Soups, Asian Soups are my favorite -- they are so light and brothy :) I found a section with Dehydrated Bamboo Shoots and Mushrooms -- I am picturing some killer 'Hot and Sour' Soup in my future with the Bamboo Shoots, Mushrooms and sliced Green Onion!! Also, many of the packages are written in whatever Asian language -- so I wasn't sure what everything was. A very sweet young lady (about 25) was in there shopping and I asked her if she knew what Cellophane Noodles were and she directed to the other side of the store -- where yet another row of noodles was!! She ended up following me over there after about 5 minutes and helped me find them -- and she was a CUSTOMER -- not an Employee. How Cool was that??!!?? I see a lot of future trips to this market and I cannot wait to take my Daughter Glad that I finally went in and really, truly wish that I had done so sooner!!

    Vietnamese meatloaf .... interesting

The best Asian grocery in Wichita. Period. This is the only place to shop if you plan to make southeast Asian/Chinese dinner. They have the biggest meat ball selection (beef, tendon, chicken, pork, fish, shrimp, octopus, seaweed...ect) in frozen section. You can find a lot of exotic can beverages here, like, tamarind soda, grass jelly drink, basil seed drink, soursop juice, white gourd juice (huh??....), and penny wart drink! ----yes, you hear me right!!! I must warn you, though, that "exotic" doesn't necessarily mean "delicious". It's an acquired taste. If you prefer to be more conventional, they also have real Asian soy milk (both plain and sweet) as well as green tea. They have a small section of Vietnamese homemade snack & dessert for a quick bite. My only complain is they're lacking Korean and Japanese products but it's no big deal to me.

So there is this small Dillon's, sitting in the midst of restaurants and stores in a neighborhood…read morethat would be a food desert without it. I'm talking about grocery-wise, not a sit down meal or convenience store stuff. The parking lot is full for the 8pm hour. You can tell people appreciate it being here, with so many people shopping here. Westlake area is sure happy to have a Dillon's in their midst. We helped with our patronage tonight. There is an ACE hardware store right there with it. Odd combo, but maybe that hits the spot. Location! Just off the downtown area. Glad it's here!

My wife worked at a Dillon's deli where Danielle was the manager. Less than two weeks after my wife…read morestarted, Danielle began telling my wife that she is bisexual. She then invited my wife to go with her to a BDSM dungeon, explaining that she is a licensed dominatrix. Danielle told my wife she could come watch and did not have to participate. My wife came home and told me what had been said. I told her absolutely not. My wife agreed and said she did not want to go either. When my wife returned to work, she told Danielle that I did not want her to go. I told my wife I was fine with her using me as the reason. Danielle then invited my wife to go out drinking at a bar after work and also invited me. My wife had already told Danielle that I do not drink. My wife and I are from a small town in Colorado, and we both understood that when a manager asks an employee to go out drinking, it is often viewed as obligatory if the employee wants promotions or to stay in good standing.I served as the designated driver (DD). While at the bar, Danielle hit on both my wife and me. She told us she had previously slept with other employees but that it had burned her in the past and she had gotten in trouble for it. She said she had not been laid in a very long time and wanted to do it again. The person who had brought Danielle to the bar left her there. Danielle then told me she wanted to continue hanging out after the bar closed, but we could not go back to her place because of her kids. I tried to play dumb and deflect the conversation. I eventually drove Danielle home. After that night, Danielle began contacting my wife extensively while my wife was off the clock, often for hours at a time. She wanted my wife to snitch on other coworkers and talk about work and personal matters unrelated to work. Danielle even tried to convince my wife to leave me and come live with her. After several weeks of this behavior (nearly a month), I went to the store manager and reported the sexual harassment. My wife and I had already had multiple conversations about how uncomfortable the situation made her. The store manager promised that my wife would not face retaliation, stated that he takes sexual harassment allegations very seriously, thanked me for coming forward, and assured me it would be handled. He noted that Dillon's does not allow retaliation for sexual harassment complaints.During this period, my wife had confided in other employees about what Danielle was doing. The store manager later called my wife into the office, confirmed the details I had reported, and scheduled a meeting that included HR, several managers, the union, and me. In the meeting, we discussed the sexual harassment by Danielle. My wife was specifically instructed never to discuss the sexual harassment she experienced with any other coworkers again. To our knowledge, Danielle was not suspended, written up, or placed on paid leave. Nothing else resulted from the meeting. After the meeting, Danielle began giving my wife extensive closing lists that no other employees received. My wife was the only one required to complete these lists. The lists contained tasks well beyond her normal job description. When my wife stayed late to finish them, she was still made to feel that her job was in jeopardy if the lists were not completed. Danielle frequently complained about my wife to higher management in hopes of getting her written up. When my wife was not written up, Danielle would be in a bad mood all day. We could predict when Danielle planned to go out to the bar because she would come to work wearing heavy makeup and jeans that showed her thong. My wife repeatedly complained to HR and the union about the apparent retaliation. The union told her to "suck it up" because Danielle was the manager and my wife needed to do what she was told. HR said they would investigate but never reviewed the documentation my wife provided showing the pattern of retaliation. My wife continued checking the internal job board and applied for an assistant manager position at a different store. She interviewed for the role and hoped it would allow her to escape the harassment and retaliation. She did not receive the promotion and was later fired. The stated reason for her termination was that, months after the initial harassment report, another coworker asked my wife what was happening with the sexual harassment situation involving Danielle. My wife replied that nothing had been resolved and that she was being retaliated against. A different coworker reportedly overheard this conversation and claimed to be "offended." Management stated that my wife had maliciously and knowingly violated company policy by discussing the matter. As a result, my wife was fired and is now blacklisted from working at Dillon's again. This occurred even though she genuinely loved the job itself aside from the issues with Danielle. Throughout the entire situation, my wife followed the chain of command by reporting the harassment.
