Was in Brandon for an appointment and had to grab a quick lunch on the way. My co-worker and I both had salads. He said his papaya salad was the best he'd ever had, and I can attest that my Thai beef salad was above average! So fresh, well seasoned, and good portions. The papaya salad included plump shrimp and my beef salad had a very generous portion of beef. It was tender and not stringy as I have experienced in other places. The server was a doll. Hidden gem here as I presume this stretch of road which is directly across from Brandon Hospital would just typically have travelers who are for whatever reason at the hospital or clinics near by. We were told there is a sister location in Lutz which we will surely visit. This location is definitely going to be on my list of Thai restaurants to revisit regularly! read more

I love me some Thai Chilli Pepper. I used to go to the one down in Bloomingdale and when they opened in Brandon on Oakfield I was estatic. My sister and I, before she moved to college, had a thing where we would try all our local Thai restaurants. As someone who has now gone to Thailand and tried local cuisine, Thai Chilli Pepper has remained as a top contender. Their service is always sweet and caring and the decor is great for a relaxing dinner with friends or even a date night! The classic, Pad Thai, has great flavor and I love that their noodles come with a lot of sauce! Summer rolls with the peanut sauce is always a banger. I have tried almost all their Curreys, they all taste phenomenal; they even sell ToGo baggies to those who want to make their own Currey at home with their recipe! Bangkok wings are crisped to perfection. Thai tea has a rich, creamy flavor profile which surprisingly a lot of people mess up. This time around I wanted to try their Seafood Tom Kha and their Yum Beef Salad. I got them both medium and it was the perfect amount of spice, flavor, and punch. I'm telling you. Came in here for the first time on New Year's eve, so it was relatively empty - however I truly hope this place is usually packed. The menu had so many great options. The food we did order was 12/10. Wow! A hidden gem by the hospital in walking distance. The server was friendly and made the dining experience a blast. Had the spring rolls and cheese Rangoon for appetizers was delicious served with a chili honey dipping sauce. No apps as eyes were set on dinner, I had the curry pumpkin with schickin and my partner had the eggplant. BOTH served medium heat and beyond amazing! The spice was medium on both and had a kick. I've had many of meals with a medium spice and barely hit the palette. This was on the spicer end of medium, but not much by the time I got home, my mouth was on fire. 10/10! The pumpkin purée was throughout. That never left my palette. So creamy and soft. The eggplant dish was equally delicious! More salty because of the Soy Sauce in the sauce, but when it met the eggplant and veggies, was beyond delish! As for my dish, I wound up with a spoon to slurp it up! Very clean and cheerful dining room with interesting art and calm music. The menu was truly Thai, with plenty of classic dishes but not overdone in number of choices. They have salads, soups and appetizers. Main plates you choose between fried rice, noodles, stir fry and curry entrees, then a protein or vegetarian and you can choose your spice level. Came here for dinner and had just an ok experience. I'm told that in the past they usually taste better. Their Drunken noodles recipe uses thinner noodles than I'm used to and I felt like it lacked a bit of flavor depth. It tasted better the next day with a bit of soy sauce added before reheating. The Pad Bamee egg noodle dish tasted better and had more flavor. The vegetables tasted fresh too. The Thai Tea was really enjoyable. I have never been to this location of Thai Chilli Pepper before this evening. This location is across the street from Brandon Hospital. To be exact, it is across from the emergency room. I found this restaurant to be spotless and the server to be welcoming and efficient. When we arrived on a Friday evening the restaurant was empty and we were the only two people eating there. Because we have eaten at their other location I wasn't worried. I knew the food would be delicious, as it was. I imagine they are super busy during the day with the hospital alone! We were starving and actually ordered a double order of my absolute favorite appetizer, the steamed pork dumplings. For dinner I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai which was delicious. As I said, the food at this location was delicious and just as good as our usual go to location. We were not disappointed. I would say that this location is bigger with more seating than the usual location we go to off Bloomingdale. No skimping with alternate ingredients to cut costs. We started with Spring Rolls. Then we ordered the Roasted Duck, Drunken Noodle with beef, Pineapple Fried Rice with pork & Pumpkin Curry with chicken. As good as the food was the service was even better. 5/17/23 SO SÁD!! This is my third time here..the first two times were amazing. The last time was horrible!! I got take out and live 45 min away. I would have brought it back if I lived closer!! Ordered Tom Kha soup and it tasted NOTHING like it should have. NO flavor at all ..I mean tasted like water. Nothing!! I had to throw it out. I also ordered Drunken Noodles w Shrimp (med spice). Well they way over did the spice to the point the entire dish was a mucky sticky BRIGHT Orange and so damn hot I couldn't even eat it ..threw that out too. And I ordered the Beef Salad ..and the way they packed it wilted all the lettuce ( even though I requested it to be packed separately) and the beef was like shoe leather. Threw that out too!! We came from MI to watch the Tigers during spring training. This was hands-down the best Thai food I have ever had. We got the drunken noodle (chicken), spicy veggie fried rice, and spring rolls. We ordered everything hot and it was HOT (runny nose and watery eyes, but a good sting where you can still taste your food). The flavor packed in the drunken noodle was insane. I normally hate stir fried chicken as it's often rubbery and weird in texture. Theirs was so good. Loved it all. Only down side is it's expensive for what you get. Would totally go back. read more

I can tell the noodle was the re-hydrated dried noodle, cause some were still hard. they also used a light brown unknown sauce, not the unique Thai sweet soy sauce and the pad see ew was soggy and tasteless. The spicy basil chicken was worse. chicken slices were dried up, over cooked and jerky-like texture. The spicy basil sauce was extremely salty with a few green leaves pretending to be basil with absolutely no aroma or flavor. It was very very bad. One thing for sure, you will get a whole week of sodium in one meal. Sorry I am not a picky eater, but this was unacceptable. read more

Went to dinner with my family. My wife was hesitant as she is not the adventurous one. Our meal was beyond expectations. For appetizers we had , Crab Rangoon, dumplings, fried spring rolls,. All served fresh and presented with care. I had the Tom Ka with shrimp soup. Perfect and fresh. Across the table we selected items front the menu. Amazing Rama with Pork, their Thai Chili Pepper Pineapple Fried Rice (just awesome, I will probably order as a to go on another night). Broccoli Delight was perfect for the non adventurous and full of flavor. Thai Sweet and Sour for my daughter who loved the sauce so much she ate her vegetables.
