This cute spot opened approximately 4 months ago. Their menu stands out and that's what brought me in the door. Their Thai is yummy packed with good flavors. For my appetizer I had the shrimp tempura and for my entree I had the lobster pad Thai. Lobster is huge and so are the shrimp. Both dishes did not disappoint and very fresh ingredients were used. Tastes authentic and portions are decent. I do feel like the shrimp tempura could be slightly bigger especially for the price. 10/10 overall experience and would love to return once I'm back in this side of town Update: it's been less than a week and my friend is already talking about she's been thinking about it lol. I don't understand why people are complaining about price when you get so much good quality seafood. Thai food is known to be pricey especially when it's good quality. Great ambience, diverse menu, some Lao options, everything fresh and served with pretty presentation! The food is good, the restaurant is beautiful, portions are on the small side. The prices are ridiculous.. truly over priced compared to any other Thai restaurant in Gwinnett County I understand that they want this to be a higher end dining experience, but it's not the area for that, this is not Buckhead.. even employees agree. I unfortunately will not return until they lower their prices. A few months back they raised their already higher prices and now it's simply unrealistic and I will not dine here out of principle. Slowest service ever. I'm not so sure about those reviews of fast service. We were one of three tables there. We arrived at 12:00pm and left at 2:00. We literally only had two dishes and an appetizer. The owner constantly reminded the host ( as the staff consisted of three people) to refill our drinks and/or check on us. We were served and not checked on. We actually had to wave someone down to ask for the check ‍. I ordered pad tai and hubby ordered Penang curry with chicken 5 times spicy, which he loved. I ordered pad Thai. It was super sweet.....too much tamarind, not enough sauce and the noodles were clumpy and overcooked. I didn't like my dish but pretended to for the hubby. The sweet tea had a rancid aftertaste and super sweet. So much that they removed it from the bill. Oh, the calamari was good enough. Less fry so to taste the actual calamari and not the breading. The dipping sauce was delicious. I do not want to return but the hubby says he would, so I will left him revisit alone. I've visited this place twice so far, once on a date nite and once for a to-go order. Both times I've been happily satisfied. The food is tasty and satisfying. I wish the options were bigger but that could just be because it's so good. I plan on going back to try their vast sushi options! The service is friendly and attentive so no complaints there. Had the pleasure of trying out Thai delight. The ambiance was absolutely beautiful. I love the string lights. We sat at the bar area and I loved the vibe there. Our server was amazing. She was very attentive. We got the house special sushi that night. It was delicious!! We also got the veggie spring rolls, pad see ew with shrimp, and basil fried rice with chicken and steak. We came just in time for their lunch special (ends at 2:30pm)--a select few dishes all priced at $16.95 that include a spring roll, miso soup, and either sweet or unsweetened tea. I tried the pad see ew, and it had great flavor and texture. I asked for any kind of hot sauce/chili oil, and I was brought a small dish of chili powder. Not my favorite, but that's okay. Everything I tried was great, and I left happy. The restaurant itself is decorated beautifully, and they have clean bathrooms and kind staff. The food was decent. Gratuity was automatically included for a small party with no notice, and we were still presented with a tip receipt. Service was slow and we weren't even greeted when we walked in, and when the waiter came to get our order not even a Hi or nothing. I will never step foot in this restaurant again. I would give 0 stars if I could, but they get one star cause the water refilled my water and put my food in a to-go box for me. But other than that Thai Delight- you have much to improve! . It was slow, one of the few people who waited on us(we were one of two tables there) was rude and acted like the restaurant was full. Add that to the fact that we had to listen to employees talking at the front the entire time since they were almost empty. Upon entry, the atmosphere was very warm and welcoming and the aesthetics were very pleasing to the eye (love the fountain). We ordered Thai Fried Rice with shrimp and Ginger Chicken. If you know Thai food, all it takes is a quick whiff and a lil taste to know if it's going to be good and this did not disappoint.
