Not good. I have been here before a few years back and had some very good burgers. My wife and I…read moresaw they were running a Sunday meal deal where you could get 3 courses for $20. The options looked good salads and deserts and a decent seeming selection of mains. It was a mistake. I had my eyes on the mac bites so I ordered an extra appetizer and they were the best thing about the meal. They are the only reason for the 2nd star. The salads were salads nothing special or bad. The main dishes were where the bad began. My wife got the chop steak (a favorite of hers at home) with mash and broccoli. I got the Shrimp and Grits. The whole theme of the meal was "overcooked." The chop steak was dry and crumbling the sauce was almost sour. The broccoli was covered in clumpy seasoned butter (not bad tasting just poorly prepared) the mash was under seasoned. The Shrimp and Grits was a disaster from the beginning. The dish was served so hot, that the shrimp, no matter how they were cooked before, were over cooked and rubbery by the time the dish was cooled enough to eat. The sauce on top was scalding hot with chunks of undercooked plbell peppers (how they managed that I am nor sure). The grits were way too wet and were flavored only by the sauce. Desert was no exception to the disappointment. My wifes brownie was meh at best, but the creme brulee was a travesty. The sugar crust was way too thick and unevenly torched. I (a guy who loves hard candy and jaw breakers) could not eat the torched sugar because it was harder than rock and again, way too thick. The creme was nice but after having to excavate it from under the polar ice caps of sugar it was not worth it. Service was also not amazing. After a good start ordering and appetizers, the waiter disappeared for a long time. I needed to ask another waiter for some extra napkins and a spoon (grits were too watery) after over 10 minutes with no sign of our original waiter. This would have been somewhat acceptable if they had been busy, but there were less than 5 occupied tables in the building. Over all not a place I'd go back to any time soon. Maybe in a few years more time we'll try again and stick to the burgers.

Very well thought out menu. Great execution. All delicious and fresh. Will go there often.read more

There's also a balcony for al fresco dining. Cute, cozy brick interior. As for the food....YUM, YUM, YUM. We had the smash burgers. Believe me when I say the Celine Dijon was outstanding!!! Sounds strange but the crispy friend cheese was unique and with bacon jam.....Home run. Would come back just for that. Mr. Egon was good, but didn't compare to Celine. Handcut fries were plentiful but thought were overly seasoned. Dipping sauce was .75 extra. We shared the generous slice of whipped peanut butter pie, drizzled with fudge. Would have preferred whipped cream. My preference. Drinks were not strong. Orders were served with that sweet southern hospitality. Highly recommend reservations for weekend. Public parking provided in back can easily fill up on weekends.

Quality food, good beer selection. Nice seating, pretty private at table. We enjoyed the place/atmosphere more than the food, though the food was a good quality. Nothing grabbed us about this place. I feel bad saying it, service was great, too. Try it, you might enjoy it.

There were no neon lights or signs or anything to make the restaurant look open. Walking into the front door was interesting. To be honest, I'm surprised I stayed. The door has random stickers on it and, quite frankly, is a mess. Ladders were at the entrance and I'm not sure if they were there just at the time we were there or if that's where they are stored. We sat down and were not impressed. The place just seemed dirty. (Mostly my impression because of the entrance). I know this is not a fine dining establishment, but we were looking for some good wings which is why we ended up at Will Henry's. Turns out the wings were really good. They were big and saucy. We also ordered a grilled chicken sandwich which was just ok. The service was ok as well. Apparently, there were a lot of "regulars" there because everyone knew each other and knew the staff. So that's nice that they have returning customers. I don't think we will be back. We will continue the search for great wings.

I had high hopes for 1910 Public House, especially after a trusted friend raved about their…read moreexperience there. Unfortunately, my recent Sunday visit for a takeout order left me thoroughly disappointed, and nearly $50 lighter with very little to show for it. The Food: I ordered two items: the pimento cheese fritters and the shrimp and grits. The pimento cheese fritters were, in a word, average. They looked and tasted like standard fried cheese balls--nothing visually impressive, nothing exciting about the flavor, and at $16 (or $4 a piece), I expected something with a little more creativity or punch especially at entree pricing for an appetizer. It was just pimento cheese, deep fried. That's it. Just as literal as could be. The shrimp and grits was the bigger disappointment. At $26, I expected a hearty, well-portioned dish. What I got was four average-sized shrimp and barely any andouille sausage--and I mean barely. It was just one thin slice of smoked sausage, cut in half, and placed in the entire dish. That was it. The portion felt light the moment I picked up the bag, and once I got to my friend'd and opened it, that feeling was confirmed. I will say, as an avid Yelp user I did my homework before ordering. I looked through photos on their page and noticed that their Shrimp & Grits looked completely different across three separate photos. When I asked the staff about it when I arrived, they mentioned the menu rotates every twelve weeks, which is fine, but the inconsistency made it hard to know what I was actually ordering. Atmosphere: I didn't dine in, but from what I could see, the space seemed nice. It's located in a charming, up-and-coming part of Lilburn, and the staff I interacted with were friendly and pleasant. So there's that. Final Thoughts: This meal was definitely not worth $50. It wasn't worth the drive, and honestly, it wasn't worth the effort. The food was underwhelming, the portions were stingy for the price, and the value just wasn't there. My friend loved the place, so maybe they caught a good day, but based on my experience, I don't know if I'll personally be returning. If I'm being honest, if I wasn't so tired then and it wasn't as far as it was, I would've just driven back, returned the food, and gotten a refund.

Our server Crystal came over immediately and greeted us. I've been to the Smyrna and Midtown locations so I knew what I wanted. I ordered the buffalo chicken egg rolls with ranch. My friend and I enjoyed them. They were hot and fresh and the perfect balance of spicy and savory. For our entrees my friend ordered a patty melt and I ordered the chicken nachos. His patty melt honestly didn't look that appealing to me. He ate it but it didn't give patty melt vibes. The burger looked dry and the toast wasn't buttery at all. My nachos however were Delicious! I could honestly say the grilled chicken nachos were the best I've had this year. The flavors were all there. Even a few hours later when I reheated my leftovers the nachos were still good. For dessert I ordered the brownie sundae. I normally order brownies wherever I go if they serve them. This was one of my least favorite. Our server said it's served warm but I couldn't tell. The top layer is very hard and crunchy but under is gooey and smooth. I barely got a full scoop of ice cream. More like a sliver of ice cream. Whoever they get the brownies from they should prob find a new vendor. Overall we had a good visit and I would def return for some of my favs.
