Great spot, GREAT service, cold beer, live band, TV's playing fun random sports, movies, etc. YES, we had a POOR experience at D'Floridian so ditched them (didn't even order) & hung out here for a few hours! Sampled beers, had a shot & had fun with the bar tenders... great personalities between all staff. They get along & have fun chats with the patrons. Not just, "What can I get you?" It was, "How are you, how was your day & what's up?"... This is service!! Great job Truck & Tap! You have a REAL thing here!!! They have a food truck & their own kitchen. Best of both worlds!!! Finally got around to coming to Truck & Tap. And boy are we glad we did. I love the open feel of the restaurant. They have a large back patio where the often have food trucks and live music. We sat down looked over the menu and Brook our host made the experience amazing. He was the best. Brook went over the menu. And like always when I visit a restaurant for the first time. I asked what are your suggestions from the menu. I was already eyeballing the Portobello burger and cowboy burger before he suggesed them. So, we chose those 2 along with the onion rings and spicy fried pickles. I didn't get the cooks name but she was great. We had to tell her she made that food RIGHTTTT. OMG, everything was delicious. Both burger was full of flavor and juicy. Now, I don't normally don't go for onion rings that's Misters thing. But when a tried one I kept trying them. The chipotle ranch sauce with it was the best. My spicy fried pickle was fried to perfection. I also got a beer. Brook suggested a few for me to try. I ended up getting the Bravazzi Liomonatta. Which is light and refreshing. Delicious!!! I also didn't get the other gentleman's name who made sure everything was good with our visit. Y'all the whole staff tonight was great. Nice chill spot for downtown Lawrenceville. Great selection of beer on tap! All the lady staff was friendly and familiar with the regulars to balance the lone guy beertender who was so so. Music bingo is loud; too much so to have a conversation. Comfortable outdoor seating even with a small TV for the Braves game. First time visiting this off-the-square spot and was very pleased at the tasty food and cold drinks. Tonight was Lobster Roll night, but after reviewing the menu, we decided to go for the burger and crinkle fries, which were both freshly cooked to order and came out quick and hot. My wife and I both chose the #21 Bravazzi, which was a delicious peach hard soda with just the right amount of sweetness. It was light and refreshing. I am impressed. There are a gazillion places in the metro that serve bar food and I have been to many of them. And so far (of the ones that I like), they range from "not bad" on one end of the spectrum to "pretty good" on the other end. This place however was outstanding. We went after a hike at a nearby park. The weather was perfect so we sat on their patio. Since it was Monday, it was fairly quiet. I could imagine this place being loud and crowded on a weekend. Our server was friendly and helpful and the food from the kitchen came out quickly. There was no food truck that day. We ordered a burger w/fries, a chicken wrap w/onion rings and salt & pepper wings. Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. True to their name, they had a good selection of beers. And since they're on tap, you can sample a few before deciding. I can't remember the name of the beer I ordered but it was recommended by the waitress and it was delicious. My only complaint is that I noticed ash trays on the tables outdoors. While no one was smoking that day, it would be better to make the entire space smoke free. Fun time! What's not to enjoy? Great live entertainment, food, drinks, and dog friendly. By the time we arrived, the food truck was leaving but thankfully they offered food. We ordered some burgers, fries, and drinks and enjoyed each item. Half of our drinks came out in glasses and the other in plastic cups. Although they were supposed to be the same they looked like they were created differently. Service was great and some workers were so beyond friendly and made the environment more welcoming and comfortable. Plenty of seating indoor and out with heaters. read more

The food trucks are hit or miss (mostly hits). The food from the kitchen isn't that bad. The beer selection is unimpressive and the bartenders struggled to make me a decent old fashioned. We love the fact that they have a line up of different trucks that come so you can count on having something different or you can order food from their menu which features your typical bar food of burgers, wings and other fried things. Next, they obviously have an impressive list of beers on tap that are rotating from local breweries and more so it's a good place to try something new or some of your local favorites. We always do a flight so we grabbed two but we were also able to ask our waiter to try a few... like there was a spicy jalapeño beer we tried and a like pickle back beer as well. So, just ask and you shall receive. The service was great from the moment we walked in and even when our server was busy there were other servers/bartenders that were checking up on us. I came in with a couple friends to meet a couple friends and the vibe was definitely giving. It was fun and the outdoor seating was very chill. Though if we weren't meeting friends that were already there we wouldn't have known where to go or even sit. There's no host anywhere that we saw. We went to the bar and got ignored pretty badly. After we got our drinks we wanted to pay but the ladies both just left us with our drinks. We honestly could've left without paying but my friend was able to get the attention of one of the guys and even he seemed like we were bothering him. We wanted water with our cocktails but obviously never got it and just left back to our seats. The night we went there was no one managing the restrooms. They were not very clean with no towels and only one stall had toilet paper. Seeing at least three bartenders tending the half filled bar and completely ignoring us had us feeling uncomfortable but maybe it was just a bad night. Or son and daughter-in-law had their Wedding Reception here and although the food truck wasn't up and running that evening, it was a big hit and the most fun I have ever had at a wedding reception. They chose Truck & Tap because they loved the atmosphere and the fact that there's a live band; they set up long tables in the outdoor fenced in area and everyone ordered whatever they wanted from apps to entrees to beverages both non-alcholic and alcoholic and as much as they wanted. There were approximately 50 guests and the total bill was 1/4 of what other venues wanted for a basic reception where the menu would consist of Fish, Chicken, or Beef. Not a single person in their party showed signs of boredom, a great night was had and everyone is still talking about it 8 months later. Thank you Truck & Tap for such a happy time! read more

We stopped by yesterday for the first time, to try it.. Walked in , no one greeted us, the place was almost empty. After a few minutes, the bar tender/ waitress mumbled " I will be right with you" my husband had to ask some weird looking guy if we just seat ourselves, he said yea sit anywhere, so we did.. no one even came over to ask if we needed water or anything. So after sitting and waiting for a while.. we got up and walked out. Get it together if you want to stay in business.. we went to the seafood restaurant around the corner. We really enjoyed ourselves here. The bar tender was very nice and walked us through the beer choices and samples patiently. They had a lot of great options. We had the fried pickles which were pretty tasty and we got food from the food truck. We had the lobster and shrimp rolls which were sooooo good! They have a different food truck each day so we'll def be back to try more. The music was good and they had a light mist going on the patio which was perfect for the heat and they also had corn hole available for anyone that wanted to play. Probably one of the chillest tap places in LV. It's fairly new and has tons of potential. There are so many beers on tap to choose from, and cocktails as well. We enjoyed a couple of flights from malts to IPAs. The food... absolute deliciousness. I was not expecting much, but I am pretty picky when it comes to my wings. They were cooked and flavored to perfection! Also, food trucks are always there as well. There is indoor and outdoor seating if you prefer. The service was great. Wow! A fun bar for Gwinnettians! I popped in lost and had a TIME! The manager greeted me upon entry and he rolled out the red carpet when I sat down. It's different but it's lit. Been a few times before posting this review. I normally go for the drinks and ambiance. There is a pineapple jalapeño drink that is absolutely delicious (alcoholic). I usually don't like fried wings, but these were pretty good. Average sized wings (not too big or small). Bartenders are kind but inconsistent. One night I was carded (21 & under) but the person beside me wasn't which caused some discomfort but the service and experience was good. Enjoy the live music. read more

My husband and I just discovered this place, it's a good change from the regular restaurants in Lawrenceville. The concept of the food trucks is pretty cool, and their house food is really good for the most part, got to try the blue cheese fries and the cracked dip. Brittany is our favorite bartender, she is always there to greet us with a smile, and she makes the best drinks. My husband and I request her every time, and sometimes I don't even go in unless she is working. If you want a good drink and great service ask for Brittany. read more

A very comfortable place to eat and watch sports. The wings are excellent. Also have had the burger and fries which are both very good. There is a good rotation of food trucks, including one that has tenderloin sandwiches, which I love. Someone commented about the lack of a host but there are signs at both entrances to seat yourself, so this is not an issue. Although I am not a big beer drinker, I can appreciate the large and rotating selection of local and regional beers. And I do usually have one. They will provide samples of beer, a nice touch. Love T&T so much!! The concept is brilliant-rotate food trucks in and different activities throughout the week with live music on Friday/saturday; rotating a couple dozen draught beers on a weekly basis; having a kitchen with meals in addition to the nightly food trucks and delicious regular/seasonal cocktails. This is a fun night out and we always have a great time every time we head to Truck & Tap. Plus, every server is a bar tender so your drink orders come out super quick and everyone is just sooo nice and helpful. If you are considering checking this place out, stop thinking and go!!!
