This evening, I was happy to discover that the dining experience at the very restaurant is more pleasant than I had imagined at first. The restaurant itself is spacious and with plenty of room between the tables. The setting is not overly asian in the new traditional sense (bamboo plates and utensils etc), more like the first Chinese restaurants in Copenhagen from the seventies, with this special style of china which is still prevalent in this type of establishment. The service is kind and the servings are more than adequate. I may recommend the chicken satay - they are really tender and juicy - and the rest of the food is generally tasty, seasoned to perfection, and the hot courses are marked appropriately.

He got all up into himself because I told him no. Long story short, the waitstaff sided with the crazy male, except for the guy who ran the restaurant. He and the owner looked at the security footage, saw that they assaulted me and refunded my money. Fellow Americans, people are racist here and think we all voted for you know who. I was treated like I was one of the MAGATs. I called the police to say I was assaulted. Just like the US, the guy at the police station said that well you weren't hurt so we aren't going to do anything. I guess that means you can lightly assault people in Copenhagen and get away with it. So I never got to eat the food from here but I would say after my experience do you really need to eat here?

She didn't apologize for the error made with my food or the extra time it took to make another, didn't offer us any sort of discount or compensation for the inconvenience, didn't ever ask us if we needed anything or how our food was, and we didn't even get a goodbye as she took away my signed receipt. My husband did enjoy his questionably authentic rice noodle dish with chicken, and that's why this place isn't getting only one star from me.

Early signs of autumn foul weather made us crave a warm, healthy and tasty lunch. Being two undergrads, it also needed to be affordable. On this day, at lunch time peak hour, it was busy but still cosy and possible to have a conversation. For my second visit, I recommended this place to my other peer. We were in a rush but wasn't willing to compromise on the meal quality. I knew from the first visit that this place serves quick, affordable and healthy warm lunches and it was near the place we were rushing to, so it was a perfect option. On this day, we arrived just prior to the lunch time peak hour, so we had the place to ourselves which definitely eased facilitating our only 35 min. visit (entrance to exit). During both visits I thought I experienced some language differences when making the order, or maybe it was all due to my semi-impaired hearing. However, it didn't have any major influence on getting the order across as the meals on the menu are presented in the form of numbers and in Danish and English. I do agree, with some of the other reviews, that the flavour intensity isn't overwhelming which comes down to a personal preference. You could probably have a stronger flavoured option on the plentiful menu. Remember, I've only tried two. All in all, a very nice, convenient and small place if you're after a hot healthy and affordable lunch. I am thankful for places like this and will probably go there again when I have my way pass.

Sometimes it makes more sense just to drink beer since it's about the same price. And speak of price, this entire meal for lunch would probably run $40 in New York. I'm Copenhagen, it was closer to $80. If you think of it on those terms, this wasn't worth it. But if you take the comparison out and base it purely on the quality and quantity, it was good and worth a 4 star review.
