I thought the smell of raw meat and perhaps blood or entrails all over the place would be very unperceptive with the public... and I'm probably right...lol However, Peters Meats is sparkling clean. No smell of raw meat, nor any of the mess or grime associated with a traditional butcher. They have a very healthy selection of Sausages and various cuts, as well as types of meats. There is also a small stand on the side that has samples and Sausage Rolls / Sandwiches for purchase. Brilliant!!

Full scale butcher and smokehouse resturant. I visited twice in my last 4 days in Australia. I even tried to talk the manager into some breakfast (which they don't currently serve) This is a great place for some properly smoked meats and sides. I spent my Thanksgiving here with a Wing, some Brisket and slaw. So much to choose from and enjoy.

Since its the only other place to buy meat within a few kilometers it does well. Lots to choose from; all kinds of cuts and a variety of meats as well ranging from several types of Beef, Lamb, Pork to Roo Sausages. A very healthy selection. Metatarian heaven...Awesomeness! In addition they have all kinds of condiments, rubs and spices for your Carnivore needs...

That is why I consider it to be a novelty to have a butcher a few steps from my house. I like to go to my neighborhood butcher when I am making a special meal or am looking for something specific. This place is truly gourmet. They have top-quality meats of all kind. This butcher also carries a small range of gourmet packaged foods. The butcher (I never can remember his name!) is always there to recommend a specific cut for your recipe, or an entirely new recipe for that matter! I am forever grateful of his advice to me when it comes to roasting chicken breast. When you roast the breast bone-in skin-on, it will never be dry and remain tender. I always use this recipe whenever I make a Chicken Salad or a simple bowl of pasta with Chicken Breast. Now that it's almost Christmas time, I need to preorder my turkey!

At first I even stood i on the sidewalk and just window-shopped the meat (like that was better.) Once I screwed up the courage to go inside I found some sausage I wanted and the butcher behind the counter was very helpful. It's the first time I have wanted the attention of a service person to offer help so badly. Anyway, now I've done it once I think I'll go there it again. Excited to see what it all tastes like.
