Dr. Wardwell and his team stands out as one of the most brilliant, innovative, honest and effective…read moredoctors I have seen in my life. He was highly recommended to me by my acupuncturist who has seen him several times for therapies to heal long standing back and neck injuries. Dr. Wardell has an extremely impressive and well rounded background and education which enables him to understand underlying issues and causes in a way that most doctors do not. I have recommended him to so many people who have chronic illnesses and pain/injuries who are unable to get relief by traditional methods (cortisone injections, PT, surgery). Not only does he have a deep understanding of any medical issues I've asked him about, his approach is always focused on getting to the true cause and healing them vs a band-aid approach used by so many doctors. His treatments / approach are all quite reasonably priced and has helped people avoid major surgeries that would be much more costly and not actually fixing the underlying problem or condition. I feel that Dr. Wardwell has a strong sense of integrity and ethics and treats his patients with genuine respect, never pushing profit over the best interest is his patients. I have been trying to recover from a severe case of Bells Palsy 7 years ago which I was told by some of the top doctors in the field that I would never be able to heal from it, and the only options were Botox and invasive surgery in my face. I'm so thankful that I have found PRP (plasma rich protein injections, same used in "vampire facials") therapy with Dr. Wardwell which has already healed and improved my symptoms in 3-4 months post PRP therapy. My other doctor who has been treating me, who is the head of plastic surgery at Stanford, was amazed as the most recent progress and never heard of PRP being used to to treat Bells Palsy, which is quite sad. I'm getting the word out. If you are looking for a doctor who will truly get to the bottom of your condition and treat you with the utmost care and respect, I highly recommend Dr. Wardwell. Randy on his team is also very welcoming and accommodating whenever possible. Do not hesitate to schedule a consult if you're thinking about it! You won't regret it.

Within 5min of being at Dr. Wardwell's practice, he had imaged my achilles via ultrasound, diagnosed it as partially torn and had a proposed treatment plan - PRP and stem cell injections for my back, achilles and foot. He doesn't just treat the injury, but treats the full body, focusing on the the root cause to prevent re-injury. 4mo later - I'm back to running and am not limited in any activity. More importantly, I'm not hobbling out of bed every morning (which previously, I was resigned to doing for the rest of my life). I'm so appreciative for Dr Wardwell and the huge quality of life he has given to me. Also shoutout to Randy, who runs the office and is such a pleasure.

The first step was a hearing test, and lo and behold, he had middle ear fluid and wasn't hearing everything. Little L's ear drums weren't functioning normally. He'd only had one ear infection his entire life, so we had no idea there was any issue with his ears. Plus, sometimes he heard the darndest things. After two failed hearing tests, the Kaiser ENT doc suggested we get him ear tubes. It's a minor surgical procedure and very common these days, but I scrambled to see if there were non-invasive alternatives. We dabbled a bit in CranialSacral, Ayurvedic, and eventually landed in Osteopathy. That's where the very capable Dr. Horn came in and the healing began. I sought out Michael Horn because he practices Biodynamic and Biomechanical Osteopathy, and he's a member of the Cranial Academy. When I called, he was accessible and very nice over the phone. After three 45-minute sessions with Dr. Horn, my son's ear fluid is gone and he can hear again. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/3Mzps3CkJyzE2gLIw-FSwA?select=tJWg-5X4yLxy8t5uH7Ae2A Today we had a hearing test at Kaiser Audiology and my son's hearing is well within the range of normal for the first time since we've tested it as a toddler. We dodged the surgery, and this mom couldn't be happier. Dr. Horn is practices non-invasive hands-on osteopathic medicine and he's excellent with patients. When the session is over, he makes a balloon out of an exam glove for my son. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/3Mzps3CkJyzE2gLIw-FSwA?select=kPHZoP9f8BvNlNPWrD8RYQ 5 stars for healing and avoiding surgery!

I used to run races, bike, hike, roller blade etc.. I loved being active. After I had my first child, I could walk but with a great deal of pain and spasms galore. After many, many physical therapists, many many physical medicine doctors, a few chiropractors, I am finally seeing signs of success with Dr. Daniel Shadoan. It really took me 6 visits to see enough change to be optimistic. I kept going to him because this was really my last hope. I had tried everything else. Dr. Shadoan is an incredibly kind and compassionate healer. Every time I see him, I believe he truly wants to help me. I have seen soooo many m.d.s who just prescribed medication, pain relievers, etc. who never touched or looked at my body. It was rare to see an m.d. that I believe wanted me to heal. I had one m.d. tell me I was just going to have to accept that I would be this way (and progressively worse) for the rest of my life! I was not very familiar with d.o.s and had more confidence in m.d.s before seeing Dr. Shadoan. Now, I can't believe I didn't go to a d.o. years and years ago! I drive over an hour one way to get to Dr. Shadoan. He is so worth it. You are the reason I joined yelp. I hope to help other people out there in pain or in need. Don't let the wait list and long wait deter you. I waited 3 months to get an appointment with him but it was well worth it.

And I will be forever grateful to Dr Eliot Blackman for his presence on our planet. When he needed support in his practice and brought in new talent, I was resistant to giving up going to Eliot. Overtime Dan seem to start channeling Eliot for me. Calm, sincere, connected, conscious, aware, knowledgeable, and effective. I often thought what I would do without Eliot, and he took care of this by bringing in someone who is just like him with the talent and grace to achieve a balanced pain free body. I fell at 3yrs old with a concussion it was at 27 that I found the back pain was due to a structural issue, my L5 and S1 fused. This is when I first had an osteopathic manipulative. In six sessions my life changed. WIth an occasional tune up, or when I over extended myself, I was in for one adjustment and off I went as my body unwound and balanced. Thank you Thank you Thank you.. You have made my living better. Debra M
