I had an absolutely terrible experience here and will never be back. I came in experiencing a great deal of pain and was barely mobile. My girlfriend was kind enough to book and prepay for a 90-minute deep tissue massage for me, and decided to book one for herself at the same time. The first 45 minutes were spot on. The original masseuse found the knots in my back, neck, shoulders, and left hip and went straight to work. But midway through the session, someone else entered the room and took over without warning. First off, her hands were freezing. Second, she was completely worthless--zero pressure, no deep tissue work at all, just loads of oil and light rubbing. She "worked" on my right leg, but did absolutely nothing to address the muscle tension. By the end of the session, I was drenched in oil and literally walking with a limp because my left leg had been properly massaged by the first person, but my right leg received zero actual treatment. To make matters worse, when my girlfriend (who had the same masseuse for her entire session) approached the manager about why my therapist was switched, the manager's excuse was: "Oh, because it was her turn." No apology whatsoever. The manager just casually said, "When he comes back, he can request the full session be with the original masseuse." There will not be a next time. I had a wonderful Thai massage here from JaJa. She is an excellent therapist and very attentive! I went for the 90-minute deep tissue massage and was very pleased. She loosened me up to begin and then got right to work on my hamstrings and calves, even walking a bit on my hammies. She did a wonderful massage on my back and shoulders where I was having some issues. She found and worked out all the trouble spots. I really appreciated that. I told her I was having some issues with my feet cramping, but she didn't really work on them at all, just a minute or two on each one. I was hoping for more. Maybe next time. This is one of the places where they have the bars above the table so that they can walk on your back - this is my absolute favorite! I haven't had a bad massage therapist here yet. They are very responsive regarding pressure - I like it very deep on my back, but much lighter on my extremities, and they adjust accordingly. They offer you a bottle of water afterwards as well. Staff is very welcoming and gets you in and out efficiently. Facility is clean with touches of Thailand throughout. OK, I thought to myself, real deal. The shop had a small but nice waiting area with a friendly person at the counter, who took me immediately to my room Within a few minutes of undressing and getting under the sheets, there was a knock on the door and my therapist arrived. She gave a very methodical and professional massage. This establishment fully drapes body parts not being worked on, so everyone should be comfortable.
