They do sell Eminence products, which I love. The massage room is beautiful and it only got better my masseuse he was very kind and during the massage targeted areas greatly. I've been a customer of Lapis & Oak for 3 years and, unfortunately, feel compelled to leave this review. A business shouldn't only be measured by its positive experiences, but also by how it handles mistakes. After a great massage focused on a problem area, I booked a follow-up appointment with the Associate before leaving. As the date approached, I received no communication, so I called only to be told there was no record of my booking. Then, a month later (on the same date I had originally booked), I received a call from the manager, Karina, asking why I had missed my appointment. I explained the prior issue and that no appointment existed on my end. A week later, Karina called again to say they would "courtesy waive" a no-show fee. I reiterated that there should be no fee at all, as I never booked that date. I also explained an Associate never called me as they usually do to confirm the appointment and asked if their approach had changed. She responded that she needed to pay her employee and close her books, which missed the point entirely. She also mentioned an email had been sent - I later found it in my junk folder, but I had no reason to look there for an appointment I didn't make. Had I seen it, I would have contacted them to correct their error. While I've had positive experiences at Lapis & Oak, I'm disappointed in how this situation was handled. I understand mistakes happen, and I'll take steps like booking directly through their website rather than with a person and checking junk folders more often. However, what I find most frustrating and the reason for this review, is the lack of accountability and the tendency to shift blame onto the customer. read more

My son & his girlfriend bought me a gift certificate for a massage for my birthday, so this was my first time here & I had a great experience! The ambiance was perfect--clean, dim lighting, peaceful, and the sound of the waterfall was exactly what I needed to decompress. My massage therapist was fantastic. She really knew what she was doing and worked out a lot of the tension I came in with. I left feeling so much better. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish my therapist had smiled or been a bit more welcoming at the start. First impressions matter, and that small gesture would've made the experience feel warmer from the beginning. Still, the quality of the massage and the relaxing environment more than made up for it. I've been searching for an esthetician that actually does peels and treatments for REAL acne and hyperpigmentation for some time now and was unsuccessful here in good olé Las Vegas however, was referred here by a coworker and was pleasantly surprised. I originally booked for a peel they call "The Clarify" because I was seeking a sort of heavy duty peel with mandelic acid in it for my hyperpigmentation and learned it was discontinued. Instead Katana my esthetician I was paired with came up with another peeling solution that was a custom mix that cleared up I would say 70% of my acne and acne scarring the next day! I was shookith that her mix worked so fast. I'm stoked for my next facial. Not as expected.... Me and my boyfriend were really excited to try the couple massage with "Lapis& Oak", but some things did not become a part of our excitements. First, I would like to say the staff are nice.. Our masseuse and masseur were absolutely wonderful. They did really amazing. Second, which we both confused was the facial. The facial was supposed to be for 30 minutes... I am not sure we even made 20, because we waited for minutes so they come to the room.. we were also expecting more facial treatments, but all we got was an oil and face mask..... Honestly,with that price, we should've gotten better facial treatment. Third, I noticed the instructions and the information and the website were not matching as what we were provided, and the front desk's young lady could've done her job in a better way.. Also, when I entered, I did not get a relaxing vibes. The 3 stars I am giving are definitely for our massage therapist, other than them I did not fond any reason to share more.... The masseuse told me that she hadn't done a body scrub in a while. We decided on scalp massage with the body massage instead of the body scrub. I noticed, too, that she skipped massaging my arms. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience for me. But I'm glad my bff had a good experience. She was professional, friendly, and attentive to what I wanted. Perfect amount of pressure in the massage. The heated stones, the aromatherapy, the warm towels . . . blissful. I enjoyed the ambiance of the place. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and the receptionist helpful. They even gave me a gift bag with some goodies for my birthday! My goal was to de-stress and Lapis & Oak ticked every possible box for that. First visit went well! I was a little surprised they didn't have a first time visit special but that is ok. I had a maternity massage and it was very refreshing. Also, I felt like the technician knew what she was doing for this specific type of massage. They had a special belly pillow where I could lay on my stomach instead of my side like other places. Wow, just wow! We came on a whime as our backs were not feeling the best. We got a couples massage and got to try out a few minutes in the salt inspired room while we waited. The salt room just has a air blower with some salt but it is relaxing in the sense that it's off to the side, you can drink water and start calming yourself by closing the room off before you go in for treatement. My husband and I got the 80 min massage and wow does the time go by so fast. My spa specialist made good use of the time and made sure to hit my problem area's without spending all the time highlighting them. Some was painful as I was readjusted but then I noticed I was able to relax those area's after the session and was able to have more movement in my muscles of those area's as well. I do wish there was a station to self help one's self to water and tea before and after the session and maybe even some fresh fruits? I have enjoyed this at other massage places to rehydrate before entering the dessert heat. We def headed straight home to rehydrate before going to dinner for our anni. We were staying at the Green Valley Hotel and Spa across the street but wanted to try a local holistic spa close by. My daughter just turned 16 and wanted to get a massage for her birthday so I found this place via Chat GPT (my kids say I am lame for using this). First I wanted to find a place I could book online because I hate having to call. I was able to book the day before, so glad they had a few openings on a short notice. The place was so pretty and clean when we first entered (like a small boutique). The 2 ladies that did our massages were wonderful. They were very thorough in questioning what our needs were and used the perfect pressure needed to get our sore shoulders and necks taken care of. A peaceful and calm ambience. Politely welcomed by staff. Online booking and text reminders are efficient. I was walked to the back room for the massage, the air was too cold in the room, thus the massage bed and sheets were also cold. This would have been nice to have a warmer temperature or a bed that warms as many places do. The therapist was having to re-warm my skin a few times. Interestingly enough, I paid for HOT STONE and the hot stone(s) were only used a small handful of times instead of throughout the session. The therapist I was paired with had many years of experience, overall good technique, but was too rough and fast in sensitive areas of my body and never inclined to ask the standard questions "how's the pressure?" "Do you have any injuries?" - one would think to ensure these were identified before and/or during the massage. She focused in an area I didn't mention I needed attention to. At the end, they ask if you want water - and it's a cheap white plastic cup (maybe try clear cup or paper to recycle?) It just doesn't match the vibe they have to be a local but upscale spa. Small adjustments and attention to detail matter. For the price point, I've experienced better and wouldn't recommend to family or friends. A few tweaks from the business could improve customer satisfaction. read more

The massage was great but they reel you in with a lie stating in thier menu that a couples massage is $135. Not until you are done and ready to pay the bill on your way out are you surprised with double this amount plus taxes and then told it's 135 EACH. Their menu clearly states 135 for couples and no indication that it's per person. I would have even come back if they didn't pull that nasty little trick at the end. I'm not one to make a scene so after asking once and realizing I was clearly duped, I politely just paid the bill and waked out knowing I was never coming back there again. Plain and simply put I NEVER go anywhere else. I'm from California this is my go to place when I'm in town. I've been here at least 4 times now. I love it here and I can't wait to visit the other location too at the Dragon Ridge Country club. I love the idea of having the additional amenities, food and beverage. I appreciate how immaculate they keep the spa I mean super clean. I appreciate the design, very aesthetically pleasing. I enjoy that it is very quiet during my visits people usually mind their "Spa Etiquete" which counts a lot in my book. I always lean towards the packages that include the salt lounge. I had the pleasure of having Tommy Maher do my massage this last visit and I felt great after. No one had ever granted me such relief. I told him I wanted to feel both relief and relaxation but not immense pain after, he nailed it. He gave me really great advice for after care. The spa is so relaxing, clean and quiet. In a 50 minute facial they do double cleanse, microdermabrasion on T zone, extractions, face massage and hand mitts while masking. They use Eminence and Jan Marini brands and have reasonable membership options with ab fab perks. A great way to treat yourself with a treatment or give this as a gift!! This is a late review but still wanted to chime in! My boyfriend booked this place for me as a surprise; facial, massage and time in the salt room. My facial was great and relaxing! The massage was ok. I think they are a bit more conservative and avoid certain areas on the body, but it was ok. I enjoyed the salt room and ended up taking a really good nap. I wish there was a way to make the salt room a bit more dim. I've considered going back again but haven't done so yet. All in all- nice experience! read more

I've had this place bookmarked for some months, decided to visit for my birthday. Best decision ever! From the minute I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff. They all wished me a Happy Birthday, and even gave me a gift ! That was such a pleasant surprise! I love how personable they were. Not just giving me a gift ( I mean, who doesn't like gifts :) But, throughout the entire experience, they kept asking if I was okay, comfortable, or if I needed anything in general. My service I picked was the body treatment- this was done by SJ. Absolutely loved her personality! She knew everything there is to know about body treatments, and how important it is to engage in self-care. She also shared how happy she was to work for that establishment. How great they treated their staff members. That was absolutely refreshing to hear that. I believe if the staff is happy, the customer will receive the benefits. Who doesn't need a massage? We could all use one at one point or another. I came across this place after trying so many horrible cheap ones in town. People essentially punching you in the back and thinking it's therapeutic. News flash, it's NOT. It makes you hurt worse later and doesn't do anything. (This place doesn't do that) Booking was easy. Man just walking into this beautiful place it instantly transports you into a world of relaxation. Everything is over the top, very tastefully decorated. The owner Tommy brought the Vegas luxury to the locals without the cost. I LOVE it! Their tables are heated which I honestly would pay just to take a nap on. I'm always freezing so I love that! The massage therapist tailors everything how you want/need it. They communicate with you to make sure it's not to much pressure or if you want more. I honestly thought massages had to have people punching you and karate chopping you. Boy was I wrong. They never once did that during my massage. The 80 min I had were prob the most relaxed I've been in my life. I was having horrible neck pain and they were able to release all the knots causing it. The music the smells the atmosphere everything was perfect! I took my husband for a couples massage for his birthday. He had never had a massage before. He loved it!
