Stopped in for dinner while dropping my son off at university. This is a nicely decorated little restaurant. We started with spring rolls and mango salad and had a vegetarian pad thai, veggie red curry and the Bangkok katsu tofu for our mains. The pad thai was good. I like it was less sweet than the last couple of places I had it but I would have liked it more if it was a little less sweet. The red curry with tofu and vegetables was excellent but the show stopper was the Bangkok katsu. It included panko crusted tofu with some stir fried veggies on ride in a peanut sauce. Absolutely loved it. When looking at the menu, most dishes contain meat but they can make almost every dish vegetarian or vegan including substituting sauces that do not contain fish sauce/stock. Had a really enjoyable meal. Highly recommend this place. read more

I've been to Thaifoon Masonville multiple times, a reliable dinner spot in London. Service was excellent as always, and the ambience and decor are perfectly suited for both group dinners and intimate one-on-ones. The curries, with varying spice levels, are my personal favorite and consistently deliver. The Pad Thai is another go-to that never disappoints. We also tried a chicken stir fry and a salmon with sushi dish this time; both were decent, but they didn't stand out like the curries and Pad Thai usually do. While the flavors were there, they didn't leave a memorable impact, and we probably won't order them again. Also on a separate occasion that I went, they had a Londonlicious menu where I got the khao soi (which is one of my favourite Thai dishes). While it was good, I do think their pad Thais are curries are much better. Overall, Thaifoon remains a solid choice, especially for their standout curries and Pad Thai. read more

I used to come here every time my parents and I were in London. The food is to die for. It was one of the only places in London we could agree on. We typically ordered the pad Thai and the yellow curry. They are both equally delicious! We also love to order their foon rolls, which are spring rolls wrapped in a fresh roll. It's a restaurant special and a must try! The service is always great and the restaurant is always clean and tidy. 10/10 would recommend you try. Even their takeout is just as good! read more

Not sure what the difference between standard pad Thai and street style pad Thai is. The waitress didn't know either. But I ordered the tofu street style pad Thai and chicken yellow curry. Both were bland - there's definitely alternative options at better price points. Just underwhelming with respect to taste. At least the decor was nice for date night. read more

Located just outside the entrance of Masonville Mall, this place is a gem! It's clean, with a nice ambiance, and indoor and outdoor seating. The food is really tasty, as well-- I especially liked the Bangkok Katsu, which I customized to be panko-encrusted tofu with peanut sauce. It was absolutely delicious; the crunch of the breading was a perfect contrast with the smooth, soft tofu. And the peanut sauce went well with everything-- katsu, rice, and veggies. Ugh I love this restaurant, probably in my top 3 in London!! Went with friends recently and sat down for my first time (I've ordered takeout multiple times). On a Wednesday we arrived at 7 and had to wait until 7:40 for a table, but we just ended up walking around the mall. We all ordered the $40 meal set which includes an appetizer, entree, dessert, and drink! I ordered the mango bruschetta (for an extra $2 but to die for I HIGHLY recommend). I also got the pad Thai (my go to) with beef, deep fried ice cream & of course Thai iced milk tea. The pad Thai was so good, as always! The deep fried ice cream wasn't my favourite, I'd go for the mango sticky rice next time (the mango isn't that sweet). read more

Nestled in Masonville Mall this lil place has established itself as a haven for thai fusion foodies . Started w cocktails- well mixed , light , capable bartender or mixologist Chicken satay in peanut sauce was good! Tasted like it should, hot/warm Red curry- great consistency, rice cooked well. Chicken was tasty and fresh. Some new salad with some bitter tasting ingredient - not recommend Beef short rib special dish- very good. Tasty, fall off the bone type tender meat Avo moonshine dumplings were a highlight- very memorable, this lil dish solidified the thought that i would return to eat another day. My visit to a @swarovski store in @cfmasonville led me to this Thai fusion restaurant. Intimate ambiance as I entered, a solo diner without a reservation - the waiter sat me at the bar. Their Thai iced tea had a strong-flavoured malty profile with a unique presentation of cold-brew-like poured milk. Two appetizers and a main - I was famished. My creamy vegetable tom kha soup kept me warm, but the chicken satay was the highlight - a mellow meat texture that melts in your mouth like eating a sous-vide steak. Amazing Thai food! I really like this Masonville location because there is a lot more parking. The food was delicious. We got the fresh rolls, red curry, and street style pad Thai. Everything was seasoned well and served hot. Some of the food is a little pricey, but it's a nice place to go for a night out. Also, the staff were friendly and very attentive, checked on us many times to make sure the food was good and we were okay. The atmosphere was also very nice.
