The room where they administer the infusion is also the same room where cancer patients come to get their treatments. It's made me very anxious the first time because of this. You feel so bad so many people suffering by your side. Meanwhile you are just there for a boost of iron. I have been treated by Dr. Haggerty. He is a true angel and really helped me with my diagnosis. The man knows his stuff. I highly recommend him and his peers. The facility and staff is very understanding. Considering the treatment facilities they are providing. It's always super clean. They have water, coffee and snacks readily available. As you wait or that you can have while receiving treatments. They also give you pillows, and warm blankets to rest while receiving the treatments on the chairs. The chairs are very comfortable and versatile. I highly recommend this place for cancer patients looking for a facility to get their treatments done. I've even seen drs who have gotten diagnosed come here and sit next to the commoners to get their chemo/radiotion done. A+ staff, facility and drs!

I called ahead and was told there was a 15-minute grace period. I walked in at 11:16 AM, and Dr. Parikh flat-out refused to see me, providing zero explanation or flexibility for being one minute late. As a first-time expectant mom, these appointments mean the world to me. To be turned away after an hour of stressful driving was heartbreaking, but the attitude of the staff made it worse. The receptionists were completely unsympathetic and acted like I was a bother. A little kindness or a simple smile would have gone a long way, especially since turning me away means waiting another three weeks for an appointment. I ultimately decided not to reschedule. This experience completely ruined my trust in this practice, and I will not be returning.

Dr. Reagan ordered lab blood tests and upon completion of those tests, there WAS ABSOLUTELY ""NO ONE"" Available to relay / read those results to us! For THREE WEEKS TO PRESENT, ZERO RESPONSE! I spoke with the so-called office manager, various desk receptionists and, Melissa Escobar (she was wonderful to correspond with early on) however just recently she Repeatedly continues to DISMISS my emails and phone message. I've called the Front Desk countless amounts of times and they CONTINUE to place me one hold for over 10 Minutes. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!! WE HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS KIND OF DISSMISSIVE BEHAVIOR ANYWHERE!! Sarah Reagan never advised or responded back to my requests to speak to her to go over the labs. I've come the realization that if you are anywhere over 90 years of age, THEY DO NOT CARE ANYTHING ABOUT YOU!!! Their actions and Lack of response and character is what determines why they Should NOT be in any medical practice. This uncaring attitude and mindset is dangerous to one's health!!!!

For the most part, in the beginning, she was responsive and managed to keep his lymphoma in check. However in the last year or so, she was hard to connect with and on 3 occasions waited too long to decide that his treatments were not working, resulting in multiple emergency hospitalizations and painful intensive care stays. Unfortunately the last time it was too late to save his life. A couple of months ago, she had wanted him to go to Baltimore for a special treatment and even though he expressed to her that it was too hard in his condition by then to make the many trips back & forth to Baltimore, we gave in and made the first 2 trips which confirmed our concerns about it being too difficult for us (in our 70's). However, upon doing our own research we found that he could get the same treatment at Georgetown MedStar Hospital which was much more convenient and do-able. Once again, because of the time wasted with going to Baltimore, delays in response, lack of engagement from his doctor and no sustaining treatments, time ran out. He was also dealing with a terrible lymphoma wound that his doctor measured a couple times, but did nothing to treat it, even though we expressed our concerns. During what turned out to be his last hospital stay, they had to call in wound care specialists because it was so bad. His doctor was unresponsive to our calls in his final month. I ended up having to send urgent messages to the Patient Portal just to get someone to respond. Without any sustaining treatment the lymphoma quickly ravaged his body, including making him blind, and when they decided to try one last extreme chemo, he was too far gone to tolerate anymore. He died a terrible death. He passed away two weeks ago, and there hasn't been ONE word from anyone from Maryland Oncology and Hemotology. No condolences, no sympathy, nothing. The only one good thing I can say about MOH is that the chemo room nurses were wonderful and attentive.

He is the best hematologist I've been to (I've been to a few); and I've have been able to call and get into the office without any problems (and, most importantly, get any and all issues revolved quickly). About a year ago I decided to try to get myself back in shape. Which is not an easy undertaking…read moresince I'm in my 50's. On the recommendation of a friend I went to see Doctor Fox, and I've very glad I did. He gave me a thorough physical and then scheduled a second appointment so that we could discuss the lab results after they were completed. We discussed the results and my concerns and he was very patient in listening to my worries, offering his professional observations, and discussing possible ways to approach my problems. Since I'm in my fifties, he referred me to some other specialists in the downtown DC area for some additional tests and screening and then followed up with me about the results. I still have a ways to go, but I've very glad that I'd had the opportunity to meet Dr. Fox and to work with him. To be honest, I was dreading having to deal with my physical issues. And although it hasn't been easy, Dr. Fox has been patient and sympathetic as I've worked through my issues and at least started on the road back to good health. And he is an easy going person so I didn't feel nervous in raising my problems or worries when meeting with him. I have always found his office staff to be very pleasant, polite, and easy to deal with. And his medical technicians in particular are just very nice people and go out of their way to put you at ease during blood draws and tests. One final thing I'd like to share, we recently had a late season snow storm hit the DC area and my appointment with Dr. Fox was scheduled for the morning of the storm. He called me---that's right, the doctor called me---to see if I wanted to change my appointment so as to avoid coming out in the storm. When is the last time you heard of a doctor personally handling his appointments to help patients deal with bad weather? Pretty unusual right, but I want to include that here just because I think it's a good indication of the dedicated physician that Dr. Fox really is. So if you're in need of a good doctor, I would recommend him without hesitation.
