From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by two wonderful hostesses, Bree and Rachel. They were friendly, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make us feel at home. A special thank you to Kendra, the owner, who took the time to stop by our table, introduce herself, and personally welcome us. She even invited us to their upcoming hoedown and shared information about the live entertainment they host throughout the summer. We let her know we were visiting from out of town, but we will definitely keep Three Belles in mind for future trips. The breakfast and brunch menu was outstanding. I enjoyed the salmon on sourdough toast with home fries and a side of bacon, along with hot coffee. It was absolutely delicious. My cousins ordered bacon and eggs with home fries, sourdough toast, iced coffee, and juice, and they thoroughly enjoyed every bite. We had a couple of small hiccups that were actually our own doing, but the staff handled everything with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. Chef Tasha even came out to our table to check on us personally, which was such a thoughtful touch. Chef Tasha, your food was incredible, and your passion for what you do shines through in every bite. Wishing you continued success--only great things are ahead for you! I was cruising the Thames in my small inflatable boat when the engine suddenly failed. My girlfriend and I paddled to the rocks off of Avery point to provide shelter from the wind and the tide. I ran to the nearest marina which was the Shennecossett Yacht Club. I came across Jerry and after explaining my predicament he led me to his inflatable and informed me he would be towing us back. He towed us right back to the bayberry boat launch. When I offered him compensation he refused even after my persistence. While it may not have seemed much to him, he really saved us. If he is representative of the caliber of the members in your yacht club I wish I could give you more stars. Thank you Jerry

My brother in law and I made the trip from Texas to fish with Captain Jay and First Mate Justin on…read more9/18 and 9/19/2025. We fished two full days and to say the fishing was good would be an understatement. We had two completely different days weather wise. Thursday was cloudy and cool and Friday was clear and warm. Thursday was better from a numbers standpoint, We caught about 15 striper with 8-10 of those being 30 lbs plus - big fish was 42 lbs. We also caught 10 -12 nice blue fish. Friday was the tougher of the two days because of the sun and number of boats in the area but we still had six nice striper and another 10-12 really nice blue fish. Our five biggest striper weighed 179 pounds (31-34-34-38 and another 42 pounder)! The "dink" was still a 10 pounder. On Friday we were within a hundred yards of several boats and they got to watch us catch fish while we watched them catch notta! I can honestly say that when we had baits in the water Jay had us on fish. There were many times when Justin couldn't get the second line out before there was a fish on the first line and we doubled up several times each day. About the boat - it is very clean, plenty comfortable and ran like a top. You could relax inside out of the rain Thursday and it was nice to be able to get out of the sun on Friday while going to and from the fishing grounds. Having a restroom on board during a 10 hour trip was a must. Jay really knows his stuff and Justin was by far the hardest working First Mate I have fished with. We are hooked (pun intended) and will definitely be back to fish with them next year. Book with confidence and opt for the 10 hour trip to give yourself as much time in the chair as possible!

For the past 12 years I had services my 90hp Yamaha engine at Boats Inc and they were a very…read moretrusted service destination. This year, dealing with the service department became a $1588 nightmare when having to change gas filters. During our first trip of the year our engine (having used Boats Inc, to change oils and winterize the engine) stalled and we had to be towed back to shore. It looked like there was some problem with our gas supply to the engine (most likely clogged gas filters). We made a service appointment on a Monday morning and dropped off the boat, with an understanding that they would diagnose the problem by Tuesday and provide an update. Tuesday, and Wednesday went by without hearing anything. On Thursday afternoon I eventually called back to inquire what was going on. The explanation I received was that the gas filters were indeed clogged and the technician had replaced 2 of the filters. They needed a 3rd one that was not in stock and had been ordered. I was then told that they would provide me with an update. I was not given an estimate for the cost either. On Friday I had to call again and I was told that they had replaced the filters, but the gas tank had some micro openings and that they would not be able to guarantee their work, if I did not replace the tank. They proposed to look up the cost a replacement and let me know. Again, I did not hear back from them. Finally, on Saturday I called them to inquire what was going on, only to hear that they had not found anything. At that point I asked to pick up my boat, only to be told that the gas tank hose was not connected to the engine anymore and that the technician was out. I got frustrated and asked them to reconnect the hose and that I would go by to pick up the boat. when I got there, I was told that I could just put some silicone around the gasket and that could prevent any future issues. I then received an invoice for $1588 that indicated that they had put in 8 hrs of work !!!! on the engine (the price include a 2 hr labor discount)... When checking online the suggested repair price was closer to $ 400- 500 indicating only a couple of hour of work for my particular engine and problem. The whole interaction and charge has completely evaporated any speck of trust that I have for their service at this point.
