honestly if I could give 0 stars I would my husband booked this place for me as a Christmas gift so I didn't get to do much research as it was a surprise and I wasn't aware until the day before my appointment. 1. When I arrived, thandi's studio was completely filthy. 2.she told me that her tattoo gun had just broken a week prior to my appointment, and she had to order one on Amazon that would be delivered the fastest so she wasn't even sure if it was a good tattoo gun or not in which she tried turning it on and obviously did not know how to use it correctly because she struggled getting it to even come on 3. Her cosmetic chair was broken, so my back was hurting during the entire cosmetic procedure and when I told her my back was hurting, she didn't try to make me more comfortable at all 4. When I arrived, she was on the phone with second job about and they had her on hold for several hours so I had to sit there and listen to elevator music my entire apartment 5. She kept stopping during my appointment to take personal calls on her other cell phone 6. She was very pushy about what color she thought would look best for my eyebrows, even though I kept telling her I'm naturally, a brunette but she refused to listen I told her I wanted a natural looking lip and I got some hot bubblegum pink lips instead 7. it's is been 17 days since I got my lips and eyebrows done they are completely healed, but look like shit one of my eyebrows is darker than the other they look orange instead of brunette and she did them completely to thin looking 8. My lips are completely healed and instead of a natural look, they almost look purple as if I had gotten into a fist fight and someone had punched me right in the mouth they do not look natural whatsoever. If you're looking for an unprofessional hood experience by all means make your appointment here. I went here for eyebrow shading where in which my eyebrows were tattooed uneven. I reached out to Thandi after my scabs fell off and also sent photos of the results. Her response was it takes 2 months for healing and to reach out then. I contacted her again at the two month mark and received no reply. After repeated text she replied in true hood fashion and said since I did not send her pictures of my scabbing process she could not determine that I had done my due diligence of taking care of my scabs. She then told me to fill in the spaces where she lacked shading that she would do so for an additional $100 after I had already paid her $320. I would give 0 stars if I could. My mom went in this morning to pay Thandi $100 in advance of her appointment. After Thandi accepted the cash payment she then starts going off on my mom and yelling at her in front of customers saying she doesn't know what she wants, she didn't do her research, she's wasting her time, etc. Then proceeded to say that there are no refunds and that payment could go towards her doing mine for free 2 years ago (which I paid her anyway). My mom left her shop crying. I went up there and she reluctantly gave me half of the payment but she was belligerent and threatening again in front of customers. She then started taking off her jewelry as if she wanted to fight me. She is severely unprofessional and threatening. I would not recommend anyone go to her. read more
