Waited 40 minutes for my appointment on Mother's Day as they then seated walk ins next to me and worked on them quicker. The weird polish they use on toes chipped within 2 days and the water tubs did not seem sanitary. And one of the workers was outside smoking right infront. Not only does this place do a great job at their acrylics, Kim is a wonderful nail artist. And the overall atmosphere is clean and nice and they usually are very efficient even with walk-ins but I wrote this review today after being a long-term customer because the acrylic removal is also amazing. Not only do they care about removing the acrylic from your nail, but they take care of your nails so it doesn't look like you even had them on in the first place there's no cracking or damaged Nails underneath. I did not catch the gentleman's name who took care of me, but overall great placed for nail artistry and also getting them cleaned up! read more

Don't do it. This is the WORST nail salon in Johnson County. They are so pathetic and childish they will block you on social media if you leave anything less than a perfect review. There are tons of local people who have reported this business for safety and health concerns. They have also been reported to the BBB numerous times to which they do not respond. Literally a trash business. They don't properly hire or properly train their very rude staff, that love to talk crap about clients and other employees while working on clients. Very dirty place. It appears clean but if you watch them you can see how dirty the place is. They allowed a child with her shoes on to jump around in one of the soaking tubs then sat a client there without cleaning it first. Absolutely floored me to say the least. Go to Beloved nails they are beyond phenomenal with quality and service. They make you feel welcomed and heard. My first visit at beloved was to get what baby nails ruined removed and even the staff at beloved couldn't believe I had these atrocious nails done at a salon. I am STILL hurting physically from the disaster they did to my nails at B.A.B.Y nails. My nails have been breaking, peeling, chilling and cracking for months since they destroyed them. Terrible business that should be shut down. They don't deserve 1 star. read more

I am excited for a new nail salon in Lenexa. I scheduled a mani/pedi for a friend and I over the phone - totally easy to do and we got text confirmation as well. We didn't have to wait when we got in. It was an early weekday afternoon, so it wasn't busy but there was a steady flow of people. I imagine service is going to pick up fast here. The salon is beautiful. It's bright, modern, clean and airy - you don't feel like you're squeezed in with a ton of people if it's busy. General sanitation and COVID precautions - They use plastic liners in the pedicure chairs and there are disposable jets. There are touchless sensors on the soap, water, trash cans, etc. I was told the staff has been vaccinated and all were wearing masks. UV lights come on at night to clean the air and sanitize the rooms. My mani and pedi were done by two different people, but they both turned out great. I had good conversation with both - friendly, funny, didn't feel forced. I got dip on my nails with a gel design and top coat. It turned out really pretty and she did a great job. Also the citrus + green tea lotion they use smells amazing. Complimentary water, soda, or wine too! I brought my own coffee, but definitely something to remember! He didn't rush the appointment, paid close attention to details, and didn't make my nails paper thin while removing the dip. I just got a mani/pedi here, today, and I am sooo impressed! I scheduled an appointment ahead of time, on their website, and showed up 10 minutes beforehand. They already had a pedi chair ready for me at that time! Because I was trying out this salon for the first time, I went all in with a deluxe pedi. I was not disappointed-in fact, it was one of the best pedis I've ever had! They dedicate so much of your chair time to trimming and shaping your toenails, massaging your calves and shins with a body scrub and lotion, removing the dead skin, and making you feel relaxed. I dread getting a mani/pedi on the same day because I don't like sitting around for 2.5 hours, BUT I wouldn't mind doing that again, at this salon because I was in and out in under 2 hours. I spent a max of 10 minutes waiting to start my mani. I was a little difficult and asked for a coffin shape (as short as possible with a tip) and an ombré design! Overall I really like BABY. They run on time, I've never had to wait. Here's my one complaint: I've scheduled 2-3x now with a particular tech only to show up for my appointment and it be with someone else. It happened when I scheduled online so I called to schedule the appointment and it happened again. The tech I scheduled with most recently was with another customer so it would have only been putting myself out to reschedule. I drive past multiple nail salons and about 15-20 minutes on the highway to get there on my day off work so it's an annoying occurrence. My sister-in-law gifted a luxury pedicure to me for my 40th birthday yesterday. This business was recorded to get by a coworker. We went with my mother-in-law, who hasn't had a pedicure in about 10 years (and was a bit apprehensive to go). The staff put her right at ease. Before long, the three of us were sipping wine, sitting in massage chairs, and having a wonderful hour of much-needed relaxation. The place is bright and open, and there is a wide selection of colors and services to choose from. It is also very clean. I loved seeing an entire adorable family (husband and wife with a younger son and daughter) enjoying mani/pedis together! I recommend this place and will definitely go back! read more

Overpriced for a not good job. They rushed through getting my nails done the whole time. They kept nicking my finger and making it bleed, and didn't even coat the whole nail. I have white spots on every nail. It looks like a 1st grader did it and they also didn't put top coat completely on my nails. I had to go home and finish the top coat. I went in for the deluxe predictor today. The salon is very clean and the decor is nice. The chairs are massage chairs and are comfortable. My tech cleaned my cuticles nicely. I felt like the nail shaping could be more consistent. I would have liked a deeper foot massage, and while he lotioned my legs, he did not lotion my feet which I will now need to do myself. There were a couple areas of polish on my skin which needed cleaned up after my service was complete, which they gladly took care of when I pointed it out. read more

I truly did want to like this salon, however, I was ultimately disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the staff is super nice, but the work was simply not up to par. I got a pedicure and the shapes of my nail are uneven on both sides and my nails were harshly worked with. My French tip acrylic set (shown on pictures) was rushed and the backs of some of my nails were not properly cleaned up. I have been going here since this place has opened and I have always loved them and loved the work they've done but I left for college in august and haven't been in since. I have always gotten acrylics. I recently decided to start growing out my natural nails, so that I wouldn't be paying so much for acrylics and I told the front desk lady that when I checked in. I don't remember the last time I didn't get acrylics so I will admit I did not know exactly what I was asking for but the woman that checked me in told me to get dip. Today, I went in for the first time since August and I got a manicure, my nails shaped, a French dip, and I had one extension put on a nail that broke so that they would all be the same length. In the past, getting a full set of acrylics was $72 and according to friends that still go there and get acrylics, the price is still $72. Today, while getting my nails done, I had originally thought about getting chrome but made it clear to the man doing my nails that I did not want that. I also mentioned that I was trying to save money and was trying to grow out my nails so I wasn't going to be getting acrylics but that I didn't know exactly what to ask for and he recommended dip. Throughout the process, he asked if I wanted to do the chrome and said that "it would be cute"; however, when I asked about the price difference, he said that chrome would be $12 and without chrome it would be $72. This seemed very high to me considering I paid $72 for an entire set of new acrylics in the past, so I asked a friend how much she has paid recently for a full set of acrylics and she also said $72. After I had paid, I went to my car, called my friend, thought about it for a while and eventually decided to go back in and ask for a price breakdown. When I asked why the price was so high, I was bombarded by 3 nail techs saying that what I paid was correct and that what I was looking at on the website was incorrect because they "just haven't changed it yet". The man that did my nails stood up and said "you already asked me about this and I already told you that it was $72, so what's the problem?" I told him that the comparison of what I received compared to what I paid as well as what I have paid for a full new set felt like too much. I was again bombarded by 3 nail techs basically telling me that I was wrong and they were right and there was nothing I can do about it so I left because they charge for taking it off as well. After going to and fully supporting this business for almost 3 years, this makes me very sad and disappointed. I have made so many connections with the nail techs there, spent countless hours there, refused to go anywhere else, and I have referred them to literally everyone I know to go see them because of the work that they used to do. I have decided that I unfortunately will not be going back there after the way I was treated today and the work that I got done... so if anyone knows of any good nail techs in the area, please let me know. read more

I went in a few months back to get my nails done for my bridal shower and the nail tech had me in and out in less than 15 minutes. I had gotten a gel manicure. 3 days later it starts peeling off. I was really upset but I decided to give them another chance for my wedding nails. Today I go in to get my wedding nails done and as I am sitting there the owner's husband is next to me working on a client when he starts talking about how lazy teachers are. He goes on to say they look for any excuse to take a day off. He talks about how ridiculous they are. Little did they know I am a kindergarten teacher who works 10-13 hours a day to make sure I provide the best education for my students. I go above and beyond for my students and still stress about paying my bills every month. I was obviously really upset but I just paid and left. I got in the car with my sister and explained what had happened so she goes in to speak to the owner. The owner states "I don't know what he said that was offensive." And then proceeds to say "I don't know what you want me to do about it." As a teacher it is absolutely heartbreaking to hear people talk about my profession like that. As a customer, I'm appalled that someone would run their business with that attitude. read more

My son and I were in on 4/15, I knew it could be busy so I made an appointment for 3pm for a child's manicure and toe Polish and a gel manicure for me. My son is 4 and it was his first salon experience, he loves having pretty nails and was excited. They were super busy and it was 340 when they sat us down, started to soak off my polish and my son was waiting, 10 minutes later an employee came over and asked me to move my son so another client could get their nails done. I explained my son was also waiting and they'd sat us here so we'd be together. Then he and another person suggested moving my 4 year old to another station behind/across from where I was by the front door (not where I could see him or within speaking distance). I declined because *he is 4* and realistically that ends badly when he gets scared, or breaks something, bothers the people around him etc. The employees seemed put off by this but switched some things around and quickly whipped through my sons fingers and toes, he was done in 10 minutes. After the nail tech working on my nails finished my polish she got up and walked away without saying anything, 15 minutes later she hadn't come back. Turns out she forgot to finish the manicure (the massage part) and had started someone else's pedicure. I reached out to the salon via the "contact us" on their website to say that I was disappointed in our service (mainly being forgotten mid service and them getting frustrated that I wouldn't agree to my toddler wandering around unsupervised) but haven't heard back. I've been there pretty regularly since they opened, but may start to look around again, my nails look great but the lack of response makes me think they don't really care about the customer experience enough to acknowledge that things could have been handled differently. read more

three of us girls had an appointment with Matt and he did our nails so fast and didn't put any of us under the LED light. they all cracked within 5 days. one girl got hers fixed for free and my friend only had to pay $20. i went back two days later and after Kim put on my new nails the owner than told me I missed getting them done for $20 by two days. i never had any intention of ever going back. 4 of my nails crack half way of. it was my first girls trip in 17 years since I had kids. it was Friday December 16th and I was leaving December 17th at 5 am. i had to go back. the other guy who fixed my nails asked me why I had a gel nail too coat on a dip? it's not strong enough. I looked over at Kim and told him to ask her she did them. i asked to speak to a manager and she wasn't there and no one was in charge. i asked Kim why she did that to my nails when she new it would chip. she ignored me. I told her to do the job I paid for. Kim said, how sad i was that the only complaint in my life was my nails. Then she said," I ain't afraid of you." she is three times my size. i asked her what that had to do with my nail? She was implying she wanted to take me outside and fight me. A few women on Facebook recommended this nail salon to me and I decided to try it when my sister was visiting from out of town. We had such a wonderful experience here. There were four of us getting pedicures (two adults and two kids) and we all left happy and impressed. The salon is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing and everything looked very clean. Morimah (I hope I'm spelling that correctly, but I have a feeling I'm wrong) helped me and she did such a great job and I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with her during my pedicure. I'm new to Kansas, so she told me about several places to try out to eat and and gave me some advice for when the cold weather comes in. I genuinely think this was the best pedicure experience I've ever had and I will definitely be returning every couple of weeks for another pedicure. read more
