Worst customer service ever. Thao Vao and her team do NOT answer the phone, don't answer text messages or emails for over 30 days. No one calls back. Completely unacceptable. Allstate is good, however, choose a different agent to work with. I've had Allstate for over 7 years. Come to find out... this agent did my pre qualifications wrong and has been over charging me additional money on my policy for fire sprinklers and alarm the past 4 years. Which I DO have sprinklers and alarm, as my home was new construction. They owe me reimbursement for the last 4 years, but refuse to call me back and handle the situation appropriately. I switched to Allstate with Thao a few years back and it saved me a lot of money even though I have points on my driving record. I didn't realize she moved offices since I prefer communication via text or email, so I must leave her a new Yelp review on her new page! I had car insurance through state farm before, and when I got my tickets my premium skyrocketed! I walked in and got a quote and was greeted with quickness, efficiency, and a friendly smile. This office surprised me so much that I even chose them for my new motorcycle over my old insurance. I just email or text them with any questions or changes I need and she responds right away and makes insurance much easier to deal with! Thao handles my auto insurance for over 7 years. Although Allstate rates increased a couple of time but she is the reason why I never bother to shop. Had an accident and the claim process was so smooth and quick and Thao was involve from beginning to end to make sure I'm taken care of. I honestly don't know if there are any better agent out there. I can shoot her an email and trust that I will always get a response back in a timely manner. I dealt with so many agents in the past that wouldn't even reply back or return your voicemail. I have had a terrible experience with this agent! I've reached out multiple times and no response. All state specifically this agent has been my agent for over 5 years and honestly that doesn't matter. Waiting Over 72 hrs and no response yet? That's timing the last time I reached out. I had such and easy time getting my insurance reinstated. I made some changes and added roadside assistance to my policy. I emailed for a quote. I got a quote from Phillip Vea. It was very high, which I understand. They have to charge extra to pay for all those TV commercials. I get it, fine. Then when I said I wasn't interested, they came back and dropped their rate. So, apparently the first quote was either bogus, or they were over charging. Then, I once again, told them I wasn't interested, and he won't stop emailing me. 1 rates are too high, 2 overcharged me on first quote, 3 doesn't understand the word no. I'm sorry to even have to write this but after having an auto accident with over 10K in damages I received no assistance from this office regarding items that the inspector missed. Inspector was not competent and missed multiple broken and damaged items on the car. When contacting Agent regarding missed items was told they were not able to assist due to me not choosing one of their shops and basically it was my problem; not theirs. read more
