I was also told the age of my tires might be leading to dry rot. (5 years) When I got out on the highway, the vibration was WORSE! I had to drive at a slower speed to a Subaru dealer in VA. They told me I had a bubble in one tire, & they were "feathering". I had them check the brakes, & they MEASURED the brakes pads at 3 mm, which indicated they needed replacing. Tires were on sale. So I replaced! My Master mechanic son-in-law, When he had taken a look at my tires & heard my story, said: "You need to find a new place to take your car." Wasted $175!

Dave said, "Hey, I have some good news--it's cheaper than I quoted you." I was honestly surprised. But then turned around and said plus $173 for the diagnostic so almost $1000.00. So not only did they lie about eating the diagnostic charge they upped it $24 dollars. So we paid the diagnostic charge and left. Seems pretty untrustworthy to me when they lie from the start. I will definitely not return to this shop or recommend them to anyone.
