I was told it might be the alignment, or the tire balancing; I had them do both. I was told my brakes were "worn" (whose aren't?!), but didn't have that done. I was also told the age of my tires might be leading to dry rot. (5 years) When I got out on the highway, the vibration was WORSE! I had to drive at a slower speed to a Subaru dealer in VA. They told me I had a bubble in one tire, & they were "feathering". I had them check the brakes, & they MEASURED the brakes pads at 3 mm, which indicated they needed replacing. Tires were on sale. So I replaced! My Master mechanic son-in-law, When he had taken a look at my tires & heard my story, said: "You need to find a new place to take your car." Wasted $175!

I told them the problem and they said that they would try and patch the leak instead of pushing a new tire on me. They patched the tire, got it done in 20 minutes. Saved me a lot of $$. They have bent over backwards for me several times when i have been in need. Also, from a year ago: Went to these guys for a full synthetic oil change on 5/23/23 -- their price was $30 cheaper than Jiffy Lube! Then, coincidentally, as I was leaving town at 1230 on 5/26 on 74, my steering wheel started shuddering whenever I steered toward the right at high speed. Immediately turned back to Grease Monkey. Alan accompanied me on a test drive all the way from Monkey Junction back onto 74 to troubleshoot, ordered two control arms on the spot, shoehorned me into their schedule and had me back on the road by 4:30PM. Incredible! Nicest, most respectful guys and so relieved to have found a dependable, trustworthy shop. I had no idea they did all sort of mechnica work!
