Then I was left waiting and waiting like I didn't matter just to have them spin their corporate sounding words in my face to cover their butt. I trusted these people with my vehicle. You all need to take a look in the mirror, at your staff, at your choices and reevaluate moving forward. I think if the rolls were reversed you all would've expected more and acted differently.

PSA: BEWARE OF VALVOLINE ON CAROLINA BEACH ROAD!!!…read more I had an oil change from Valvoline at 5561 Carolina Beach Road on 8/26. Shortly after, I started experiencing issues. I took it back to Valvoline and they stated that there was no oil on the dipstick and that I had a busted gasket. I informed them that they did the previous oil change and this was clearly their negligence. They ADMITTED FAULT and comped the oil change. I expressed that I was concerned about potential engine damage. I immediately filed a claim with Valvoline corporate. A few days later, my engine light came on and I took it back up to Valvoline. It showed a P0301 misfire. The Valvoline tech told me to take it to Car Guys. I immediately took it to the mechanic (the Valvoline area manager called me and was upset that I didn't drive my car 2 hours south to Myrtle Beach to "his mechanic"). Car Guys found internal damage due to oil starvation. The cost of the repair is $3100. I called and informed Valvoline. The area manager responded back and has denied the claim, refusing to pay for the repair. DO BETTER VALVOLINE! My car is damaged due to YOUR NEGLIGENCE and it is your responsibility to make right.
